"After hearing your words! I am so excited to finally see her by myself!" Mrs. Hutson's voice filled with excitement.

"Yes, you can see her! I have her C.V in my study room!" Mr.Hutson replied.

"Honey, when did you meet her for the first time?" She asked.

"She's been working as my secretary for one week!" Mr.Hutson smiled gently.

"Just one week?" She blinked her eyes in disbelief.

"Yes!" Mr.Hutson nodded.

"How did you find her suitable for your son in just one week???" She asked while her tone is a little high.

"Lara, when I saw her for the first time I thought about you. She's just like you!" Mr.Hutson didn't go deep but his words already made her understand why he chose her.

Now, she doesn't doubt his choice.

"What about her family background?" Mrs.Hutson asked the main question.

Mr.Hutson looked at his wife and sighed.

"I checked on her C.V she just mentioned her dad's name while the other columns related to family members were blank."

"Did you ask about her family?" She asked while seriously raising her brows.

"Yes! Today, I just tried to ask her! But she told me that there is nothing much more to talk about!" He explained.

Mrs.Hutson felt questionable.

"But why?" She could not stop but asked.

"I don't know! But that child was in pain. I can sense it from her eyes which are just too clear like crystals!" Mr. Hutson's words made her understand that Rebecca's family situation is not simple.

"I told her that no matter what happened in her past she can rely on me from now on!" Mr. Hutson's words filled Mrs. Hutson's face with a satisfied smile.

"You did the right thing! Honey! We should help her! If we want her in our son's life!" Mrs. Hutson's words were gentle and filled with motherly love towards Rebecca which made him smile warmly towards her.

They both understand each other very well and they hope Edwin and Rebecca could get together with time.

"Honey, did you talk to Rebecca about Edwin?" She asked.

"No, Honey! This will be too fast!"

"I want our son to meet her and with timing and working together we can hope they could get to know each other well and create new feelings for each other!"

Mrs.Hutson nodded in understanding her husband's words.

"That's a good idea! And we both can create some situations for them to get close. If they don't work well. At least our last try!" Mrs.Hutson announced while her husband agreed with her.

"Honey, I want to see her picture now!" She announced with a happy face.

"Alright! Let's go to the study room!" Mr.Hutson nodded and stood up from the couch to go towards the study room.

Mrs.Hutson follows her husband's steps and finally, both of them reach in front of the study door.

As they enter the room, the door is closed by them.

Mr.Hutson went to his desk drawer and slid down to take a look inside it.

After searching a few files, he finally found Rebecca's C.V.

He took out the file and went towards his wife to land her the file.

Mrs.Hutson grabbed and opened it the next moment.

Her eyes filled with joy as her vision landed on Rebecca's passport size photo.

"Ohh my!! She's too beautiful!" She declared with happiness looking at the photo.

"I know!" Mr.Hutson laughed with joy.

"Now, I can see how you thought about this!" She tried to tease her husband.

Mr.Hutson understands his wife's words very well.

"Lara, you knew very well. The look is the last thing I noticed." Mr.Hutson sighed like a child.

Mrs.Hutson chuckled to see his reaction.

"I know my dear husband! I'm just teasing!"

Both of them looked at each other and smiled with a little laugh.

"Mom, Dad!"

"What made you laugh?"

Edwin's voice made both of them shocked for a moment but the next moment they again wore a bright smile on their face and turned to look in their son's direction.

"Edwin, when did you come?" Mr.Hutson started the conversation to divert Edwin's mind.

While Mrs.Hutson took the chance to instantly close the file in her hand and put it back on the table before turning to them.

"Just a few minutes ago!" Edwin takes a seat on a single couch across from the wall while he drops his suit jacket beside him which he carries on his one hand and loses his tight tie on his neck.

"Ohh I see!" Mr.Hutson tried to look calm while Mrs.Hutsons took the conversation further.

"Edwin, did you complete your work?" She asked with a smiley face.

"Yes, mom! That's why I'm here!" Edwin answered.

"But now, Can you tell me which subject you both were talking about that made you both laugh? And what were you both doing in the study room?" He raised his brows and looked at his parents' faces.

Mr.Hutson thinking to say something before that Mrs.Hutson said, "Dear we just talked about your childhood memories when you are a big naughty boy and always made us run behind you for doing every little thing! And your father just come to your place!" She laughed out faking.

Mr.Hutson instantly covered up for her and nodded in her words and laughed, "Yes, she's right!"

Edwin shook his head in disbelief to see his parents.

"Son!" Mr.Hutson looked at him.

"Yes, dad!" Edwin responded.

"I know you are already a great businessman and I know you will bring the company higher in future years but I still hope if you feel any time pressure for work or need any suggestions then come to your dad!" Mr.Hutson's eyes turned tender while he looked at his son with a warm smile.

Edwin always made him proud but he still hoped his small son would never leave him and come back to him whenever he felt isolated.

Mrs.Hutson smiled and agreed to her husband's words.

No matter how big a child becomes he is always small in their parent's eyes and they are not different from others in this.

Edwin looked at his parents and felt soft in his heart.

"I'll dad!" He answers in a low and deep tone which was filled with affection towards them.

No matter how cold he sounds to others but for his parents, he is just a normal boy and child.

"So, how are you feeling dad after you retire!" Edwin asked, looking at his dad.

"I'm feeling happy because you are the one who's going to handle the company and the future of Hutson Corporation!" Mr.Hutson looked at his son with a proud expression.

Every dad waited for this day when his son was going to take his position and be responsible for work and family. His son is going to be a strong shoulder for him and his family.

Edwin smiled and nodded his head in response.
