Rebecca comes back home after completing marketing. She wanted to make something delicious for tonight's dinner.

She went directly to the kitchen and placed all the ingredients. There are some preparations which she needs to do before cooking in the evening.

In her free time, she watches a movie and then reads some magazines related to pregnancy while she opens the chips packet for herself.

In the past few days, her craving for food has turned big but she's no more throwing like before.

It's been less since a few days, which made her eat well and could eat her craving food without worrying.

Rebecca looked at herself in the mirror and touched her belly. She doesn't see any big changes in her body for now but her skin shades are more whitened than before. She can also recognize it.

Julia's eyes sparkled to see all the dishes on the dining table.

"What the????" She shouted with shock while her mouth was half-open.

Rebecca chuckled to see her reaction.

"Did you like my dinner preparation?" She asked, thinking that Julia was going to smile but this time she was wrong.

Julia looked at her with a frowned face.

"Rebecca, why did you cook all these dishes???" She asked.

Rebecca blinked her eyes confusedly and didn't understand why she was angry.

"For us! of course!" She announced.

"You know! You are pregnant! You should rest! Why did you make yourself tired for just a little food when you can call me and I can bring this for us from the restaurant!" Julia looked at her in anger while there was a worry for Rebecca in her tone.

Rebecca sighed to see her behaving like her mom.

"Julia, it's just dinner! I already rested the whole day! And I wanted to prepare some delicious home-cooked meals for us!" Rebecca explained while pouting.

Julia shook her head.

"But still you should not have to do heavy tasks! You know that! Huh!!"

"But it is just cooking!" Rebecca declared.

"Cooking? Are you serious?" Julia raised her brows while she looked at her and then the dining table which was filled with delicious meals.

"We don't have ingredients in the morning. It means you went to the supermarket also! And that means you do the heavy task to bring the things from the market!" Julia's gazes directly looked at her eyes.

Rebecca felt speechless to see how much Julia cared about her and felt wrong.

"Julia, I'm sorry!!"

"I promise to you! I'll remember your words and not repeat that!! And if I ever go to the market I'll go with you! Not alone again!" Rebecca announced making puppy eyes.

Julia looked no more upset and smiled slightly.

"Alright! No more sorry! Don't make puppy faces! I know you are a Beautiful Goddess!" Julia rolled her eyes and teasingly said.

Rebecca chuckled to hear her words.

"Thank you for accepting my apologies!" She also acted.

"Yup! But not every time! Your beauty works on men but not me! I'm straight!" Julia chuckled while teasingly sticking out her tongue.

Rebecca raised her brows and glared at her.

"You!"

"Okay!! no more teasing!! Let's eat! I'm hungry!" Julia rubbed her tummy and looked at her.

Rebecca laughed and nodded.

"Alright! Let's eat!"

Both of them ate their dinner happily.

"Everything was delicious just like always!" Julia said with a satisfied face after finishing her dishes.

Rebecca warmly smiles to hear her words. This is the only thing she can do for Julia as gratitude for now.

"Rebecca, how was your interview?" Julia asked with a bright face.

"It goes smoothly!" Rebecca replied.

"That's great!"

"It means we will get good news and you will pass the interview!" Julia declared with an exciting voice.

Rebecca sighed to see how confident Julia is for her but she is not herself.

"How about the result? When is it going to announce the result?" Julia asked.

"It's going to come out tomorrow evening. I got an email!" Rebecca announced.

"That's good!" Julia replied.

The next evening, both friends silently waited in front of the laptop screen to see the result.

A few seconds later new mail enters Rebecca's mail.

"It's come!!" Julia shouted while her heartbeat turned fast.

Rebecca bit her lower lips with frustration while her forehead creased with seriousness.

"Open it!" Rebecca asked Julia because she was too nervous right now.

Julia nodded and took a deep breath before touching the press button.

Rebecca closed her eyes and prayed to God.

Julia looked at the screen and read the letter that clearly shows Rebecca passed the interview and she ranked first in all the candidates.

"Woooohh!!!"

"Rebecca!! You passed the interview!" Julia exclaimed with happiness.

Rebecca opened her eyes while a bright smile lit up her face.

"Really?" She asked with hesitation.

"Yes, just read out the mail!" Julia declared.

Rebecca looked at the screen while tears came out of her eyes.

"Oh my God! Julia!!!" She shouted and hugged her tightly.

"Congratulations! Rebecca! You made it!" Julia laughed.

Rebecca nodded while tears rolled down her cheeks and she got emotional.

"Did you check which position I got?" Rebecca asked.

Julia shook her head and said," let's see together!"

Rebecca nodded.

Both friends again looked at the screen and felt shocked.

"Ohh my gosh!" Julia's face was shocked.

Rebecca also read the message that she got a secretary job at a top-level firm. But under whom she's going to work it's not mentioned. It will only be informed when she will join the office.

"You got a high position, Rebecca!! That is truly surprising news!! Congratulations!!!" Julia hugged her this time.

Rebbeca still couldn't believe it. She did it! She got a job! The best one for her and baby! Now she can save for her pregnancy!

Now she can survive with her child in this big world.

This thought made her emotional and she cried out.

"I did it, Julia! I did it!" She shouted with happiness.

"Yes, girl! You did it and made me proud!" Julia declared feeling touched and got tears in her eyes.

Julia saw her journey and thought Rebecca is a stronger woman in her eyes and capable also after today.
