“Sir, the footage is here.” One of the cops reported to the officer when Edwin and others were also present.

“Alright, then we should go now and check the footage.” Officer looked at Edwin, Sam, and Julia.

In the footage room, the cops started playing a recording and told Julia to see if she knew the kidnapper. And they told the same thing to Edwin and Sam.

The video was hazy but all they focused on was the screen to watch the kidnapper coming out from the building with Rebecca.

Edwin's eyes focused on the main entrance of the building.

Soon they all noticed a guy getting inside the building while his face was hidden by a Jacket cap.

“Sir, this guy is the last person who entered the building.” One of the cops reported.

Julia tried to look at the guy's face but the video was unclear.

“Alright then move the video fast mode and check when he left the building.” the officer instructed.

“Got it, Sir,” the cops nodded and pressed the fast mode option to go faster.

When they all noticed the guy came out almost one hour later and was not alone but had someone on his lap.

Everyone's eyes turned alert and suspicious.

However, Edwin instructed fast before anyone.

“Zoom him when he moves halfway.” Edwin's tone was almost filled with a dangerous sense.

The cops looked at his senior officer and after only nodding, he zoomed in.

When it zoomed they all saw who was in his lap.

“Rebecca?” Julia's hand goes automatically pressed to her mouth in shock to see the person on his lap was Rebecca, she was looking unconscious.

Edwin's eyes almost turned red with anger as his hand clenched on the table.

“Zoomed his face!” He angrily ordered. He never felt this desperate to kill someone but watching the guy on the screen holding his woman, his all sense just wanted to punch that man and destroy him.

The cops instantly zoomed his face but his cap hid his face. They couldn't see it clearly.

"His face is not clear!" Sam frowned.

"We should wait and see when he turns to get in the car with Rebecca. We can see him clearly." The officer explains.

Hearing him, all were impatiently waiting to see his face when at last they saw him get Rebecca in the back of the car seat while he came forward, pulled out his caps, and finally got inside the car.

However, Edwin and Sam didn't recognize the man. So, they asked to zoom out when he dropped the cap.

The cops slowly moved the video and zoomed in exactly the right second when Julia's eyes finally winded to see the guy's face.

Her body shuddered. She almost froze her place for a long second before she shockingly called the guy's name, “Nick? How did he get here?" She mumbled feeling panic.

"Julia," Sam held her hand to see her reaction and learned she knew the guy. As she called the guy's name.

While Edwin impatiently enquired her, "Julia, you know him?" His brows twisted with seriousness.

The officer also looked at her to know her response.

“Yes…I know him." She felt numb.

"Then who is he? Tell us, Julia!" Sam tried to ask her.

Julia bit her lower lips and soon responded, "It’s Nick, Sam,”

Edwin coldly asked, “Who is Nick?”

To which, Julia looked at the ground with deep sense and then uttered to him, “He is a stepbrother of Rebecca, Nick Wilson."

"Step Brother?" Edwin's face blackened.

"Yes, her stepbrother and one of the creepy guys I've ever known!” She felt anger even telling all this.

"Just tell me everything about him," Edwin's eyes turned sharper. As he gritted his teeth in anger, feeling rage.

“Nick is the man who tried to sexually harass Rebecca many times."

Her words made everyone shocked while Edwin felt his heart almost burning to hear that.

"It all started when she was in her teenage years and he got inside her bedroom one night to force himself on her. However, she managed to escape her room and hide, after then soon later he was sent to the hostel to study."

"What about parents? Don't they know?" The officer questions.

Julia bit her lower lips in frustration, "No, they all never knew about it. Rebecca hides the bitter truth for her dad. She doesn't want him to feel upset or sad."

"Then what happened after?" Edwin glared at her in seriousness.

"After that incident, she started to have bad dreams and anxiety. She was scared, he will try to do that again and when he left the city, she felt fine. He was not present there to harsh her any longer…However, after completing study when he went back home again this year, he tried to force her again, which almost made her run out of her house and caught the accident.”

Edwin's eyes widened and turned reddish as he remembered the night when he met her because of a car accident. She was almost hit by his car. Her fragile physical condition caught his attention at that moment even though he did not see her face. He knew the girl running from something. Now, practically he knew what truly happened that night, hearing Julia’s words.

Sam also could guess now why Rebecca was in such a bad condition on that night when they found her.

“And things turned more brutal for her when one day he was trying to molest her and was caught by his mother and sister at the right moment. Rebecca thought they were going to help her. But her disappointment the mother and daughter pair, not helping her, blame her for seducing her own brother. They bullied her and made her homeless at the same time without even listening to her side."

Edwin closed his eyes and try to not destroy things around him in anger. While she continues her story, "This way, I get the chance to meet her on my home back and we started living together.”

Hearing her, everyone now clear Nick is the one who kidnaps Rebecca and he got terrible motives for her.

The Officer after listening to the whole story moved to her and said, “Ms. Julia, We will catch him. He can not do anything to Ms. Rebecca. We already manage to get the car number’s photo from the footage, so don’t worry. We will find Nick’s whereabouts and arrest him.”

“Thank you officer, but please do that fast. ‘Nick’ guy is the opposite of the way he tried to look. With him, Rebecca can’t stay safe for longer.”

“We understand that already.” the officer nodded.

While Edwin after hearing everything felt his heart burning deep down in anger. He wanted to destroy that stepbrother who made Rebecca's life hell all her past.

Now, he can know, why she got a trust issue. The girl was almost molested by not only strangers but her own brother also. Any girl could feel like her.

Thinking all this he felt more desperate to find her faster. He can not take the risk to let her stay with that shity guy who got nasty thoughts about his own sister.

He looked at Sam and signal him to come out in the corner.

When Sam got his signal, they both walk towards the corner.

“Yes, Boss,” Sam knew Edwin got something to instruct him.

“Sam, talk to the underworld gang and sent a clear photo of Nick to find him under twelve hours.”

“In exchange, I’ll pay as much as they want.”

Sam nodded a little hesitant as it was the first time Edwin using his power to contact the illegal world.

“Got it, Boss!” Sam nodded and rushed to call the mafia boss to explain everything.

A few minutes later, he come back with a serious expression, “Boss, they said, they can find him in under six hours, but they need fifty million to do this task.”

Edwin walk to the window and looked at the sky from where Rebecca bid him bye last time, “Send them twenty-five million right now and told them half will be sent after the work is done and I need two dangerous creepy men also who love to toucher. I’ll pay for it also,” Sam's eyes winded for a moment but he nodded at last, “Alright, Boss,”

After he left, Edwin looked outside the window and remember the past few happy days with her as he breathed out heavily at last.
