Chapter 190: Chapter 190

"What took you so long to apologize? Just speak up, we don't have a full day!" Julia crossed her arms and stared at her with a smirk.

Chole wanted to snatch her mouth but controlling her anger, she went to the sales lady and arrogantly apologized, "I'm sorry! Is that okay?"

The sales lady awkwardly just nodded.

Chole rolled her eyes ready to turn when Rebecca called her from behind.

"Chole, it's not done."

Hearing her, she turned with a frown.

"What do you mean?" She glared.

"Your apology doesn't contain sincerity. You should at least know how to say sorry after bullying someone."

"You!" Chole pointed her finger at her with anger.

However, Rebecca didn't stop here; she looked at her stepmother and said, "Mrs.Wilson, if your daughter argued one more time. I'll change my mind. You should ask her to do that again with sincerity."

Mrs. Wilson's face darkened with resentment against her but still, she nodded and asked Chole to do that again.

"Chole, just do as she's saying and leave this shit place."

Chole felt extremely despised at this moment but still went to the saleslady and this time she sincerely said, "I'm sorry."

The sales lady nodded with an awkward tiny smile, "It's alright."

Chole felt she was laughing at her and immediately turned to walk beside her mom.

While Rebecca went to the sales lady.

"Ms. Your one side cheek is almost swollen, I think you should go and see the doctor."

The saleslady nodded and thanked her, "Thank you, Mam, for taking my side."

"It's alright and thank you for helping my friend." Rebecca looked at Julia and then at her.

If she doesn't come in the front right time. Julia would be the one who got hit.

The sales lady nodded and turned back.

The mother-daughter burning with so much anger to see them smiling.

"Let's go, Chole. We will not stay here any longer." Mrs.Wilson felt too humiliated after what happened. She held her daughter in one arm to turn.

"Mom!" Chole touched her hand which was above her arm to stop her from going.

"What happened now?" She felt a headache.

"What about the dress? We can't go like this."

Mrs.Wilson agrees with her.

"Yeah, that's true. But I don't think we can get that."

"Are you scared of them?" Julia angrily asked.

"Not at all. But what if they call cops?"

Chole was annoyed but soon replied, "Mom I already apologize for that. I don't think so, they will raise that matter and don't want you to snatch the smile from their face."

Mrs.Wilson thought about her words and soon agreed.

"You are right."

"But for that, you first asked the sales lady to tell them about the dress."

"Yes, just watch," Chole smirked and looked at the sales lady who was ready to walk away.

"Hey, stop there!" Chole's voice attracts not only the sales lady but Rebecca and Julia's attention also.

They frowned to see Chole still trying to bully her.

"Chole, don't you have manners? Are you still trying to bully her?" Julia tried to take sides with the saleswoman.

Chole frowned at her words and said,'' Who told you I'm calling her bullying? I'm calling her to get my dress back which was purchased by you both."

Hearing her, Julia and Rebecca looked at each other while the saleswoman fell into big trouble.

"What do you mean by your dress?" Julia raised a question while Rebecca looked at Chole for a response.

"The turquoise dress which one of you bought from her store. That needs to be sold to me but when I walk there it's already snatched by you both."

Julia was filled with rage to hear her.

"What do you mean snatch? I purchased it paying the bill. That means the dress belongs to me."

"But I choose it first," Chole tried to argue.

"But I'm the one who paid for it. So, it does not matter." Julia also turned stubborn.

Mrs.Wilson glared at the saleslady and walked toward her, "You, just tell them who's dress belongs to if you don't want to lose your job!"

The sales lady flinched in her place and looked at Julia and Chole who were already staring at her.

For the moment she felt hesitant to take a side with Julia but when her eyes went to Rebecca who was also calmly staring at her. She changed her mind. She can't go against the person who helped her to take justice.

She glanced at Julia and Chole and spoke with a strict look.

"The dress belongs to that customer who paid for it."

As soon as she said that Julia shouted with happiness while Chole felt dumb.

Mrs.Wilson wanted to tear the mouth of the saleslady.

"You, stop lying, it belongs to my daughter." She tried to restrict her.

However, the sales lady without fear replied, "I'm sorry Mam, but that's the truth. The dress never belongs to your daughter. If you want to complain, go ahead."

Chole gritted her teeth.

"You bitch! You change your words now!"

Julia chuckled, "You should stop showing your button-like eyes to us. There is no one getting scared of that. Not even dog "

Chole glared at her. While Mrs.Wilson could not take more humiliation and went to her daughter to make her calm down.

"Chole let's go right now. I can't take this anymore."

"But mom!"

"Enough of you!" Mrs.Wilson shouted at her only then was Chole ready to finally walk from there.

Rebecca and Julia calmly watch them finally go. While the sales lady again thanked them for taking her side and helping her a lot.

In the Cab

"Your stepfamily is just too much! I don't know how you stayed with those toxic people the whole past life. What did your dad watch to get married to your stepmom? How could he cheat your mom with someone like her? I truly don't understand." Julia disappointingly blurted out in one breath.

To hear her, Rebecca showed a bitter smile and explained, "Julia, don't forget, Humans are greedy ones, even if they got diamonds with them. One day it just felt like a stone to them. While the other shining stone turned more valuable in their eyes than diamond."

Julia got her point and sighed, "Listen, I'm sorry to speak like that but I just could not take their unfair action against you."

Rebecca looked at her and flashed a warm smile this time, "I know. You don't need to apologize."

Julia nodded and inhaled a long breath while Rebecca turned her head to look outside through the car window.
