NEXT MORNING

In the early morning, Rebecca got a message from Edwin that he would come to pick her up for going to the airport. So, she immediately started packing her things and a vitamin tablet with her. She doesn't want to make him wait anyway because of her.

After half an hour all the things were packed by her. When suddenly Julia came into her room and said, "Rebecca, Mr.Edwin is already waiting for you outside our apartment." Hearing Julia's words, Rebecca felt surprised and immediately asked her, "Julia, how did you know Mr.Edwin was coming here?"

Julia turned a little hesitant and answered," Mr.Sam informed me a few minutes ago."

Rebecca's brows raised with suspicion and she inquired," How did you get Mr.Sam's number?"

Because Rebecca remembers clearly Julia didn't ask for his number from her. It only means Sam gave his number to her friend personally. But when? Party night? She wanted to know.

However, Julia didn't respond to her question and changed the topic to her.

"Ohh, Rebecca! Mr.Edwin is waiting for you outside and you are talking about random things. For the number, don't forget we all work in the same office." Julia's response didn't satisfy Rebecca but before she could say more. Her phone suddenly rang to attract both of them.

Julia asked her to take the call. They can talk later.

Rebecca nodded and looked at her phone screen to see Edwin's name. She immediately pressed the green button and answered the call.

"Hello, Mr.Edwin."

"Hello, Rebecca. I'm waiting for you right before your apartment. If you are ready, you can come down." Hearing him, she immediately replied," Yes, I'm already ready, so I'm coming right now."

"Alright then, I'm waiting, " Edwin answered and disconnected the call.

Rebecca put the phone in her bag.

Julia smiled wildly and said," You should now go fast, don't make Mr.Edwin wait."

Rebecca understands Julia doesn't want to share Sam's things for now. So, she didn't ask about him more and just nodded to her words.

"Yeah, I should go now." She replied with sadness smile. This is the first time when she's leaving Julia after they started staying together. And thinking that, her heart felt heavy.

Julia also realized the same thing and immediately hugs her and tells her to take care of herself which made Rebecca emotional.

"Don't work too much. Remember to eat your food on time." Julia speaks in a lower tone. On one side, she is happy for her to spend alone time with Edwin, on the other side staying without her is not that simple anymore after sharing her home with her.

"I'll miss you, babe." Julia couldn't help but feel emotional at this moment.

Rebecca felt touched to hear her words. At least she still has someone in her life who cares about her, who missed her dearly.

"I'll miss you too, even the baby." Rebecca's words made her laugh and she nodded with a big smile.

As soon as she comes out of the building, Edwin's car is waiting in front.

She silently walks towards the car with the trolley.

Edwin noticed her trolley and came out of the car shortly and walked toward her.

Rebecca immediately greeted him to see him coming toward her.

"Good morning, Mr.Edwin."

Edwin nodded and took the trolley from her hands before answering," Good morning, Miss Rebecca."

Rebecca gave a small smile in return.

"Let's go," Edwin said and turned to the car. While Rebecca followed him silently.

After adjusting her bag in the car's back. He opens the door for Rebecca but before taking place the last time, looked at her window side and caught Julia's figure who was waving her hand from there.

Rebecca smiled at her and waved back. Edwin silently watched both friends send bye. As he finally asked her to get on.

After making her seat comfortably he went to the driver's seat and immediately started the engine.

"Sir, the plane is here." One of the flight staff confirmed to Edwin who is sitting in the special waiting room with Rebecca.

"Alright. We are coming. Until then take our luggage " Edwin ordered him.

The staff nodded and immediately took out the two suitcases with him.

After sending him, he turned to look at Rebecca who was a little nervous to think about her first flight. She never sees an airport or plane in real life except in movies and photos.

Her heart was jumping with nervousness as her hands and feet turned a little cold to think about height.

She was a little scared to think about it and her expression didn't hide from Edwin's eyes.

He immediately touched her shoulder and called her name to get her attention back.

"Miss Rebecca, do you feel uncomfortable anyway?" He asked with little seriousness.

But Rebecca shook her head and said," No, I'm fine Mr.Edwin. I was just nervous because this is my first time at the airport to take a plane."

Edwin already knew about this through Sam, so he just nodded to her and tried to make her a little comfort to tell her there is nothing to fear. She will be fine and he is also with her. She should be relaxed and not think too much. It is only going to make her scared without even going on the plane.

His words helped her to relax and finally, the time came to get on the plane.

As soon as they crossed the stairs, Edwin took her to the seat with the help of the air hostess.

Edwin and Rebecca sit in the luxury seats. As it's prepared for them. Soon the announcement was made, and the flight was ready to flee.

Hearing this, Rebecca's heartbeat beats faster. She doesn't know how to feel relaxed when she is this scared.

And the next moment, the loud sound makes her believe that the plane is starting. Thinking this, she closed her eyes tightly.

Edwin watched her action and immediately touched her hand to make her open her eyes and looked at him.

"Don't be nervous. I'm here." As soon as he whispered these words. Rebecca forgets all the fear and gets herself less scared.

The plane was already in the air, and now Rebecca was enjoying her first flight, looking outside the window where only clouds could be seen.

Edwin felt glad to witness her first flight and make her feel better until she finally relaxed and enjoyed the view.
