“Where are you?” Reign asked from the other line while my phone was in between my ear and my shoulder. I was currently at a Department Store, holding two paper bags.
“I’m at a store.”
“What store?”
“It’s a secret.”
“Ruchee.”
“I’m doing important thing. Gotta go. See you later, I love you.”
I did not wait for Reign’s response and immediately turned off the phone so that he can’t contact and disturb me later. I might spill out everything I’ve plan. I sigh and then looked at the saleslady in front of me.
“Would you like to make that on our special room ma’am?” I nodded then smiled at the saleslady.
“That would be great.”
After she showed me and take me to the room she’s talking about, the saleslady left. There’s some people inside the room and when I stared at the things they were doing, I smiled. This is the perfect place to make my plans.
I sat down at an empty table and immediately took out the things inside the paper bags I was holding. It was a materials for making a bracelet. I planned to bead something for Reign and I. It’ll be more lovely to make it with my own hands than to buy one and the best for having a sentimental value.
Today was the 5th of September, Reign’s birthday according to Thraia. I was pissed because Reign did not told me about that but I suddenly cast that feeling out of my mind and that’s why I’m here, making him a gift.
I want to buy something for Reign but he can already have everything he wants. He’s a billionaire after all. So I decided to just make a handmade bracelet because this is definitely the first time he will receive something like this from someone else.
I started making and after awhile, someone sat in front of me but I did not mind.
“Making something for your boyfriend?” I turned my gaze in front. She was also putting out things outside from the paper bag she was holding, “I’m Shella. You are?”
“Ruchee. Yes, I was making a birthday gift for my man. How about you?”
“Likewise. It’s also his birthday.”
I stopped speaking and immediately went back to what I was doing. I also never heard from the woman in front of me. Until I finished everything, maybe I’d stay here for two hours.
“Done already?” I nodded.
“I’ll gonna take my leave.”
When I got out from the Department Store, I looked for a taxi and immediately ride it to my apartment. While inside, I can’t help but nervous and feel worried. I hope that Reign will like my present, at least.
I opened my phone and take a look at the time. It’s already five in the afternoon. Reign doesn’t have any idea that I know that it’s his birthday today. I just chuckles. I wonder what his expression if he saw my present.
When I arrived at the apartment, I immediately take myself inside. I saw Reign, sitting at the sofa, he was restless.
“Reign.”
He immediately turned in my direction and without a second, he was already hugging me.
“God. Where did you go? What did you do that was too important?”
“I was making your birthday present,” I said that made Reign pulled off the hug. He looked at me with surprise.
“How did you know?”
“Thraia said to me. Why did you keep it away from me?” Reign did not answer and averted his eyes from me.
“I just don’t want to burden you.”
“Happy birthday my man,” I reached for Reign’s cheeks and forced him to turn to me as I kissed him on the lips, “Here,” I said after pulling my face away from him and reach the blue box made from cardboard.
Without any hesitations, Reign accepts it and then immediately opened.
“I hope you like it,” Reign’s blue eyes turned on me, it was full of happiness as he was holding the bracelet.
“Like? I love it.”
“I know it’s cheap and doesn’t suit yo--”
“If it’s from you, it suits perfectly well to me.”
Reign said as he put on the bracelet. There’s his name embroidered there. I can’t help but smile when I saw the happiness on Reign’s face, “Here,” I reached out to him as well.
“What is this?” Reign asked as he accepts the message card.
“A message from me.”
“Say it directly to me,” Reign firmly muttered as he give back the card to me.
“You can read it.”
“I want to hear it from you. Don’t be so unromantic, woman.”
I sigh and then took the card from his hands as I put the paper bag on the couch. I looked at Reign as I opened the card.
“Dear my man, you don--”
“With feelings and,” Reign grabbed the card away from me, “Don’t say it like that, woman. What are you? Having a reporting?” I stared at him.
“Fine. I did not know that you have this side of being demanding.”
“I demand everything. Don’t forget that, woman.”
“Whatever.”
“Don’t make me wait and don’t forget to put some feelings.”
I sigh and then stared at him. He has too much in the mind, isn’t he? I think, making this wasn’t a good idea but I have no chance. I love him for I will do this if it will make Reign happy.
I reached for Reign’s hands and hold it tightly as I started saying the words I write on the card, “My man,” I stared at him and caught his blue eyes also staring straight at me that made my heart skipped a beat, “I never expected for you to barge inside my heart. Having someone like you was beyond my expectations.”
“You are the first one who give chaos inside my chest,” I said the put Reign’s hands on my chest.
“It was beating your name, like how you devoured everything on me,”
“You changed every of my perception that love was a powerful thing that can drive someone into madness from falling deeper,”

“Even the odds won’t break us. I love you till death to us part. Happy birthday,” I tiptoed and touched my lips to Reign. He was still shocked on my words but I felt his hands wrapping on my waist as he recovered.
“This is the most beautiful gift I ever had in my life,” Reign stick our foreheads together as he intertwined our fingers, “You don’t know how much I love you, Ruchee. You will be always my woman. Our love will go on forever without ending and this is obtainable as we made our conscious decision. I love you eternally.”
“I love you too for infinity.”
