Chapter 65: Chapter 65

“Would you like some, miss?” Thraia asked, offering me a glass of orange juice. I reached my hand to take the glass from her hands.

“Yes, thank you!” I said and then take a sip from the glass, “Come and join me here,” I added. I was sitting at the swim platform of this yacht, my feet touching the seawater. Thraia shrugged her head.

“Later, miss. We are still grilling the meat.”

“I wanted to help, but Reign won’t allow me,” I complained about disappointment. I really wanted to help grill the meat, but when I told Reign about it, he disagreed. He was still in the cabin for an hour now.

After what happened in the hatch, Maze suddenly approached us, telling Reign that he needs to take the call personally. I think there’s a problem with their headquarters.

“You should follow what has the master said, miss. I will excuse myself for now,” I nodded to Thraia, and then she takes her steps away from me. I looked back when I heard Russiana’s giggles. She was playing with the twins, and I don’t know, but the three look pretty close.

“How are you?” I looked up and saw Maze; she then sat beside me while paddling her feet in the seawater. I turned my eyes in front to stare at the blue ocean.

“Are you referring to me?”

“What do you think?”

“I’m fine. Thanks for asking.”

“You should leave the island next week,” I quickly looked at Maze with confusion.

“What are you talking about?” The last time I heard this phrase was from Sharmon. Does she also love Reign, and she wants to get rid of me? I put down the glass beside me.

“Bloodshed will happen soon on this island,” she then paused. I did not take my eyes away from Maze, “I want you to get rid of this island before you and your sister will be caught in that event.”

“Are you worried?”

“Yes.”

“Thank y--”

“But not for you,” Maze’s eyes looked at me intensely, “I’m warning you and not for you; it’s because of the boss. The clan sees how he cherishes you. We were there when the boss was in despair because of her uncle and grandparents’ death. We won’t let him feel that again because of you.”

My lips were agape by the words Maze bestowed upon me, but I tried to detract from being surprised, “Reign will have the decision for me and not you,” I firmly said and then turned my eyes in front.

“Do you love the boss?” I was frozen at her question, but I did not look at her.

“What about that? Does it matters about the information you have said?”

“If yes, you will do this for his sake. You will flee the island immediately before you get caught on the upcoming dispute.”

I did not speak after. I shut my mouth and then stared in front. If Maze wants me to leave this island, I will do so if I can go here without Reign’s permission. I already attempted, but it was a failure, and it would be in the second time.

“Maze? What are you doing here?” I flinched when I heard Reign’s voice from the back.

“I’m just having a talk with the miss, boss,” Maze answered like she did not say anything to me earlier.

“Go ahead and try to contact the men that were watching over my parents.”

“Copy boss,” I felt Maze’s stare at me from the side that made me turned in her direction, “Think about what I’ve said,” she whispered before getting up from sitting beside me. When Maze left, I remained silent.

“I did not know that you and Maze are close to each other. What did you talk about?” Reign asked as he sat beside me. I looked at him and gave him a forced smile.

“It’s just an ordinary talk.”

“Don’t smile if you are forcing yourself,” I was left stunned. I don’t know, but Reign seems to know everything about me.

“I’m not forcing myself.”

“Okay. If you say so,” Reign said, then reached for my shoulder and then brought me closer to him, making me lay my head on his shoulder. My heart beats furiously as I feel his gentle kisses on my head, “I love you,” Reign said, and this is the second time today.

I did not speak and closed my eyes. I’m sorry, Reign. You told me to enjoy this day, but I think I can’t. I opened my eyes and looked at Reign. His blue eyes were staring at me while there’s a smile plastered on his kissable lips. I was already flustered by the thought of him staring at me!

“I love you,” he then brought his face on mine and give me a smack. I felt like all my blood flows on my face! I turned away my face from him while blushing. Reign really doesn’t miss on making me feel embarrassed.

It’s the third time he says those three words, and I did not answer him even one time. I want to, but I’m ashamed. We stayed in this position for a while, and after, we joined the others at the cockpit.

I thought I would not enjoy this day, but I managed to bring happiness thanks to my sister, Reign, and the others.

It’s already dark when we returned to the island, and right now, I was in the bathroom, washing because the seawater was sticking into my body. I did not plan to swim because I don’t know how but Reign pulled me to the water.

I was safe since he was holding me tight under the seawater, but I wasn’t happy because of that! I fear deep waters of the thought that I don’t know how to move my limbs if something happens, and thank God, we are safe.

I really enjoyed this day, but the thought about Maze’s words did not escape from my mind. I let out a deep sigh as water from the shower gently flushing into my body.

Should I asked Reign about this matter? I don’t know. I want to get out of this island for Reign’s sake.  He was in despair, as Maze said. I know, I felt that emotion before because I also had that experience.

I want to help Reign. He’s been saving me, and since he loves me, staying here will just put him at a disadvantage. I wasn’t sure if Maze was telling the truth, but I know she was. A lot is coming inside my mind, and anytime, everything will explode.

Shrugging my head, I tried my best to shake that thought out of my mind. I continued washing my body, but a moment after, I felt someone opening the bathroom door, making me stop from what I was doing.

Surprised can be seen on my face as I saw Reign walks inside the bathroom topless. A towel was wrapping on his lower body. I was left in awe as he walked in my direction, looking at me intensely.

“What are you doing here?” I asked while stuttering.

“To take a shower.”

“But I’m still taking a shower,” Reign did not answer, and then he suddenly put his hands on the back of my head. I can see lust and desire in his blue eyes that were intensely staring at me.

“That’s why I’m here. Let’s take a shower together,” without any remarks, Reign brush his lips on mine. I felt something when his naked body touched. I can’t react because of his sudden approach.

How can I? How can I think sane when we are inside the bathroom together?!
