I woke up while a masculine scent greeted my sense of smell. I was flustered when I saw Reign’s Adams apple moving in front of my face. We are sleeping together and I made his arms as my pillow while facing his manly neck.

I looked up and while staring at his face, there’s tiny bruises on his cheek, forehead, and on the side of his eyes. Leading my fingers on his bruises and gently touched them. What could have happened? Is it about the raid I heard from the last time we talk on the phone?

My gaze landed on Reign’s pursed lips. I suddenly blushed when what happened last night came inside my mind. I averted my eyes and bit my lower lips. I then take my hands on Reigns face and pressed my forefinger on my lips. I can’t help but giggles quitely.

I thought that something would happen to the two of us last night but only we just kissed. I’m not disappointed or something. I can’t just help thinking something when Reign was giving me deep kisses!

I stare at Reign’s sleeping face. I was too luck to have him and it’s really obvious how he respects me. I could clearly see in his eyes last night that he wanted to take possession of me but he restrained himself and he did his best to kept the kiss between us.

While flashing a smile on my lips, I reached for Reign’s hair and gently ruffles it enough to not make him wake up. He really loves me and with that, it’s already a fortune for me. It would be too fast if something already happens to the two of us. I still want to get to know him better and him for me.

After a moment of mesmerizing Reign’s face, I decided to got myself out from bed. I slowly take my head off from his arms while left a gentle kiss on his cheeks. He was sleeping and I think that my single movements is not enough for him to wake up.

He was too quite while sleeping and Reign looks really tired. When I got out of the room, I met Thraia, “Are you going to Reign?” Thraia nodded while bowing her head, “He’s still sleeping. Is it too important? I think that it was better wait for him to wake up,” I added. Although I don’t know about Thraia’s purpose to her master, what important to me is Reign needs a long nap.

“Okay. Thank you so much for saying this, miss. I should take my leave and prepare the young girl’s breakfast,”

“Speaking of that. How’s my sister?” Thraia looked at me before she answered.

“She’s still sleeping on the guest room, miss. It seems that both her and the master was tired traveling from the City up to Goriy,” I just nodded. After Thraia left, I immediately take the path to the guest’s room.

When I got there, I saw my sister sleeping soundly. I immediately went to the bed and climbed on it then reached for Russiana’s hair. I smiled and then lay beside her and gently hug her tiny body.

I never thought that I would be able to be with my little sister on this island and all of it was thanks to Reign. I don’t know what he’s thinking but is this what he was saying he’s going to bring a welcome gift that I’m sure to enjoy? After all, it works!

I was startled when Russiana moved and hugged my waist, “My human pillow is very comfortable,” she said flashing a smile on her tiny lips while tightening the hug on me.

I gently poke her forehead, “How clever! When did you wake up?” I asked and look at Russiana. She’s still closing her eyes but the smile was still on her lips.

“Since that kind and beautiful maid left this huge room. I’m already awake,” I missed her voice. I pulled her closer to mine and then sniffles her hair.

“What shampoo did you used? It’s kind of new and smells luxurious,”

“Two handsome men came inside our apartment, both of them looks alike. I was startled and think of them as a thief!” Russiana then opened her eyes and look at me excitedly, “I was trying to call a police but they mentioned your name and said that they were your friends! I never thought that you have friends like them, Ruru. You hide a secret on me,” she then pouts her lips. So adorable!

I gently pinch her cheeks, “I did not hide a secret on you, my little Ruru!” I take my face closer to her, “Two handsome mean that looks alike? Are you referring these guys with amber eyes, blonde, and black hair?” Russiana nodded and burry her face on my chest.

“They buy me everything I want. Gadgets, chocolates, new clothes, toys, and they even accompany me to the hospital because they said that you have to work on something and it will be a long time before you get home,” Russiana’s litany with a sad voice.

“My poor little Ruru. I’m sorry,” I said and give her an affectionate hug, making her ease about the feeling of sadness. I was no longer able to speak about what she was saying. I know Blaze and Blake are what my sister is referring to. Reign was right. Russiana was in a good condition and I was grateful.

“It’s okay Ruru, don’t be sorry,” she then looked at me and cupped my cheeks with her tiny hands, making my heart melt, “I know that you are doing this for me, saving money for my treatment. I’m so lucky to have you as my sister,” Russiana said then kissed my cheeks. I smiled.

I was working even with my hectic schedule. My parents have been away for a long time and I am the only one toiling for the two of us. I have no problem at school because I am one of the scholarship program helping me to meet my needs as a nursing student.

When it comes to household expenses, I have to work twice as hard. Especially, my sister’s body was frail. Russiana has congenital heart disease. Her abnormal heartbeats was getting worse day by day and I’m working for her treatment but my salary is not enough to meet the money needed for it.

The doctor said that there’s no cure about Russiana’s condition but having a surgery will help repair her heart, however, they will not be cured. It’s just a treatment for  helping her temporarily. But this is better than losing hope.

“Don’t worry. Ruru won’t give up, okay? I will always be by your side,” I said and then kissed her forehead but thinking about her condition and the possibility that someday, I might lose her just like what happened to my parents, I can’t help but gentle tears escape from my eyes.

What will happen if I unexpectedly lose my sister? Who was there at those times for me?
