"I will reveal that to you after I claim my chosen mate," Wylder responded, to which Tiara looked at him in confusion, wondering what the hell that meant. She couldn’t understand how both things were interconnected with one another until and unless it was a surprise.
"Is that a surprise for her?" Tiara asked, trying not to feel anything.
"Yes!!" Wylder responded with a big smile on his lips. "Something that I want to gift her after claiming her. And I want to share this with my girlfriend or mate first, whatever you name it." Tiara pressed her lips tightly and didn’t ask anything next.
‘Theodore opened a jewelry store with Lee’s name, and Wild is planning to gift one of his businesses to his mate, who has no existence in his life yet. And here I am; except for my family members, no one does anything for me.' Tiara thought bitterly and felt jealous at the same time.
"Yeah, whatever!! Women like me don’t need a man who will gift any business to her." Tiara said, rubbing her success at his face that she was way better than a weak woman. "In a couple of months, I’m launching my own makeup brand." She added. If Wylder couldn’t have smelled her anger and jealousy, he would have thought that she was throwing her attitude. So, he just smiled, irritating Tiara more than she already was. She wanted to get a reaction from him, but nope, nothing.
"I can’t believe that a person can hide things from his best friend for a mate who isn’t even in his life." Tiara taunted him, more like blackmailed him, so that he would tell her everything, but that never happened. She acted to stay mad so that he would try to pamper her and tell her everything, but again, her plan didn’t work at all.
"I have to leave now," Wylder said once they were at Tiara’s suite. Tiara didn’t answer his questions and kept quiet.
"Ara, are you going to avoid me now? Just to know what you want to know."
"Yes!! And is it working?" Tiara asked hopefully.
"No," Wylder said sternly, only to receive a glare from Tiara. He sighed, knowing her ways. "Bye," he said and received silence from her end. He leaned towards her to kiss her. Thankfully, she didn’t move back, but she didn’t kiss him back when he kissed her gently, cupping her face.
But he didn’t kiss her long because he felt like he was forcing himself on her.
"I will be back soon. I hope by then your anger will calm down." He whispered sadly while his fingers gently combed through her hair, tugging it behind her ear, and all of a sudden Tiara regretted behaving like a bitch.
Turning around, he started leaving. The gap between them started increasing with every step that he took. Tiara wanted to run behind him and apologize to him, but her ego stopped her. A couple of seconds later, she couldn’t see his muscular back as well.
