"The number you’re calling is switched off." He heard and dropped a message at his number. ‘Hey, big bro! I need your help; please call me or message me ASAP.’
He heard a knock at his door.
"You don’t have to knock on the door, Mom Eden." He said, rubbing his temples, and saw her walking inside with a guilty smile on her face.
"I’m so sorry, sweetheart. I couldn’t say no to Sofi’s request." She apologized again. "Tee was trying to reach you for a long time and wanted to apologize..."
"Please don’t. I don’t want to hear anything about her from others. I will talk with her on my own." Wylder said, cutting him in between. "If she really wanted to find me, then all she had to do was ask Colton. He was great at tracking someone down, so I don’t want to hear that excuse."
"Ah. Colton. It’s been ten months since anyone saw him." Eden broke the news, widening Wylder’s eyes because he wasn’t expecting this. "No one knows where he is. Whether he is even alive or... A few lone tears escaped from Eden’s eyes; after all, she had raised Colton.
In fact, Eden and Arya were the ones who named the twins brothers. It was Eden who had helped Colton when he was searching for his father.
"Mom!!" Wylder quickly rushed near her and hugged her, saying, "Nothing will happen to him. He is a rock, remembers?"
