"Hello,darling. This is Katherine Hamilton."

Serena instantly got out from her bed and focused all of her attention to the caller.

"Kath---I mean,hello,Mrs. Hamilton! How did you know my number? And how may I help you?

"Please, just call me Katherine or Kathy, whichever you are comfortable. By the way, do you feel alright now? Looks like you had too much of a drink at the after party." Kathy asked her.

"Goodness, I sincerely apologize for what happened last night. There's no excuse, but I guess I'm not really good at holding my liquor...But I'm feeling much better now, thank you..." Serena apologized, while feeling embarassed.

"That's good to hear. If you're not busy, is it okay to invite you for a brunch? Don't worry, Gale's uninvited, and he doesn't know that I'm calling you right now." Kathy spoke again.

Serena didn't think twice, and she said yes rightaway. She wanted to know what happened to Liam and Katherine, why and how they ended up together, and ask about Gale as well.

"It would be my honor to have brunch with you, Mrs. Hamilton. Where should we meet?"

"Oh,that's lovely! I told you awhile ago that you can just call me Kathy. Anyway, do you know that cozy French restaurant just a few walks away from the Glamour Theater? I'll wait for you there. See you at 11:30 sharp?" Kathy responded.

"That sounds fantastic,K-Kathy. Thank you for inviting me and see you soon!" Serena tried to hide the excitement on her voice. She doesn't want to sound too eager.

Once the call ended, Serena instantly looked at her phone to look at the time. It was already 10:30, so she still have time to prepare.

She got up from her bed to make herself a cup of coffee to jumpstart her day...

Serena's eyes roamed around the restaurant to look for Katherine... This French restaurant will really give you that romantic feeling, because of its Parisian interiors... There are  some frames on the wall which shows the  Louvre Museum , The Eiffel Tower and the French Canals. There's also this exquisite chandelier hanging at the middle of the restaurant's ceiling. This is such a perfect place for a brunch...

"Serena,over here!"

Serena stopped surveying the place when she heard Kathy's voice. There she was, sitting at the corner table, away from the other customers.

Kathy was waving at her, and she waved back at her. She walked towards her direction.

"I'm glad you could make it, dear. Please, have a seat. What do you want for brunch?" the old woman chirped, while giving her the menu.

The maitre 'd came to their table and got their orders. Once they've made their order and the maitre 'd was out of sight, Serena decided to speak.

"Thank you so much for inviting me today, Kathy."

"It's my pleasure, dear. By the way, I have to congratulate you again for the success of the play. I know that Elizabeth's happy with the outcome." Kathy smilingly said.
