Serena's currently at the Bachelorette Party that was prepared by Elizabeth Montecarlo's girlfriends. She's now talkong to Katherine Covey, and she found out that she was Elizabeth's bestfriend back in their College days...
"---We've come a long way but look at you now. You're the most sought-after theater actress. You've reached the fame and fortune that we've been dreaming about. And as an added bonus, you are now engaged to an affluent and influential man in the country. What more can you ask for?" Katherine's obviously drunk, and that's why she's been talking a lot.
But she also can't deny the fact that there was a hint of bitterness in the tone of her voice, so she must've been hiding something from her friend, "Elizabeth."
"Yeah, my life seems to be perfect. It seems like I'm living a fairytale story." Serena drily responded.
"Damn right, Lizzie... You have the best of two worlds, but why do you have to cheat on Walter?"
Her eyes flew up in shock after she heard Katherine's remark. My goodness, so her so-called "bestfriend" knew about Elizabeth and Liam's illicit affair?!
Serena decided to breathe in and out to calm herself. After she recovered from her shock, she decided to ask Katherine a question.
"How did you know about it?"
"I decided yo visit you on your rehearsals for your latest stageplay when I accidentally saw you being lovey-dovey with each other backstage... I was in deep shock. I was having this urge to confront you because you knew that I am inlove with Liam since the very first time I met him! You even said you'll support me, but why are you having a secret affair with him? Aren't you satisfied with Walter?!" Katherine confronted her,as she was getting more and more hysterical.
Serena felt like someone just slapped her right into her face because of deep shock. She can't believe that Elizabeth Montecarlo made a huge mess! She betrayed her fiancé and her bestfriend, just because of Liam!
She can't help but to feel sorry for Katherine.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Katherine... I-I never meant to hurt you. Don't worry, I'll do whatever I can to fix this mess."
"You shouldn't let go of Walter, Lizzie. He loves you more than his life and you'll be happy with him for the rest of your life. I'm not saying this just because I have feelings for Liam, but I'm saying this to you as your bestfriend." Katherine started crying now.
"Yes,I know I'll be happy with Walter. If I were the real Elizabeth Montecarlo, I will definetely choose him." Serena whispered.
Serena then realized that Katherine's already asleep.
Katherine's head is on her shoulder, and she was sleeping peacefully.
"-Don't marry Walter Hayes... And please stay away from Liam Hamilton. I also want you to apologize to them on my behalf. I made ruined their lives and I deeply regret everything..."
And now, she can finally understand why Elizabeth Montecarlo visited her in her dream...
She has to act now. She needs to resolve everything quickly so that she can go back to her own timeline, and to let Walter, Katherine, and Liam find their own happy endings...
