Chapter 88: Chapter 88

**Cassie's Pov**

The day they accepted themselves as humans and werewolves changed everything. I, my father, and my brothers teach them about our culture, such as what is right and bad, taboos, and, most importantly, the essence of being a werewolf as someone who loves the moon and is a partner of the forest and nature.

It appears that the attacks have been more regular in recent months and that we must go elsewhere, for real. Because Xander and those who support him are sending threats and animals with one objective in mind: to kill me and the rest of the people I care about.

Something I will never let happen. I love my family, especially my only son and the two guys who teach me a new definition of love, and I will never make the same mistake again. I will never allow the past to repeat itself.

Xander should brace himself since he will have no idea that we will be there and that I will personally cut his throat because that is what he deserves.

Someone like him does not deserve mercy; out of jealousy, he managed to murder his own brother, and as a result, my homeland suffers. It is now time to put everything back in its proper place.

We were able to find a cabin, still far away but not too distant from the Blue Moon Territory, thanks to Dale, and as a result, my brother, Dax, and Derek are all preparing for our war. Of course, Dale provides sufficient information once more.

For starters, we will not be fighting pack warriors. The pack warriors of the pack region are all unhappily imprisoned underground, and the humans who live there are mostly rogue. That is why we will not show pity, even if they will plead for it.

I offer refreshments to these youngsters, who alternate between practicing and training. Of course, I asked Dax and Derek if they wanted to fight alongside us, and they said yes, and if you ask me, I think they have a lot of potential. They've already slain an assassin, so it comes naturally to them. Maybe it's instinct, or maybe it's because Kaiden's soul lives within them.

"We'll prepare tomorrow; it's time for Xander to step down as tyrant," I told them.

"By the way, who is that Xander, and why is he our target?" Dax inquired; he has no idea; I simply stated that our lives are in jeopardy due to my background and the things I regret in the past.

"He's Kaiden's brother, Xander." He was able to seize the position of alpha that should have been held by Kaiden. He made a huge plan out of jealousy, and that plan includes working alongside the rogue, which we have no idea how he did, and another is that he killed his own brother, the father of my son, my mate, and both of you," I said, getting a little emotional. That's why they both embraced me.

"Then he deserves what we're going to give him tomorrow," Derek explained.

"Tomorrow is not a joke; it is not something we should take lightly just because we are stronger and better trained than them." We may say that we are aware of their wild card, which is why we must protect ourselves and fight safely," I told them.

I summoned some goddess-given power. This blessing will double their speed, make their body stronger, their senses sharper, and their abilities more efficient, just like a buff.

THE NEXT DAY, we make it to the territory's border. I sneak into the midst of the area, which is a difficult task to be honest, but as a result, I killed some rogues defending the entrance to the underground prison chamber. When the people of this territory see my face, they feel as if hope has arrived.

"Our Luna," they called out. I liberated them, healed the region, and they appear to be robust again. The goddess loves us and bestowed this blessing on us.

The conflict is declared to have begun with a thunderous explosion. I joined the fight not only as a backup but also as the main fighter. I ripped many enemies' heads off, grabbed their hearts, transformed into a wolf, and used my sharp claws to snarl and murder the adversaries without mercy.

"You're back! This time, I will not let it slide; you should see your mate again by leaving your life in my hands," Xander snarled in a wicked tone, his eyes filled with anger as I grabbed his delusional dream and demolished his cruel domain.

"I will not stop here, I will not back down, because I am here to put an end to your tyranny!" You murdered my mate, took everything from me, and caused this land to suffer, so how could you say that? It is up to you to face the goddess's wrath." He grinned.

"How could I kill my own brother, you say?" Who said I was still the Xander you know? That kid despises his sibling, but not to the point of murder. Xander? "I took his soul, put it in a jar, and took over his body," he continued, shaking me to my core.

"Then tell me, who are you?" I inquired.

"The ancient alpha's brother." In the past, I contracted a devil due to the same jealousy that Xander has, but my family condemns me and seals me in a cave. I desire vengeance and vow that this land will once again be mine, and look at me right now. This is only the beginning of my dominance." That is why he has access to control over rogues.

"They have given me more reasons to kill you." We successfully shift and assault. Our attack is quick and swift, and we manage to inflict deadly wounds on each other, but we both have the capacity to cure our wounds.

Dax and Derek arrive and successfully lock him up. This is my opportunity! "In the goddess's power, Luna." I'll give you the punishment you deserve!"

I extracted his heart, and the dark smoke that tried to escape exited the body. When I finished purifying it, we realized the struggle was ended.

"We won…"

THE FIGHT came to an end when the tyrant left. I also freed Xander's soul, and everything appears to be returning to normal.

The battle is gone, but the war's devastation is not. We need to re-manage the region, and it will take us eight seasons to do it.

Traveling is no problem now that we know how to create a limited portal. Dax can still educate while being the Alpha, and Derek can still be the CEO while being the Alpha.

Many things had changed, but those changes had brought us joy. I am now pregnant with twins and intend to give birth in December. My life cannot get much better.

As I looked into the eyes of my two partners, I knew that I was exactly where I was meant to be. We had been through so much together, navigating the complexities of a three-person relationship, but we had emerged stronger and more in love than ever before.

We had always dreamed of finding a way to make our love official, to create a commitment that would honor our bond and the life we had built together. And so, we decided to get married, surrounded by our loved ones and the support of our community.

As we exchanged vows, I felt overwhelmed with emotion, realizing that I was making a lifelong promise to the two most important people in my life. I knew that there would be challenges and obstacles ahead, but I also knew that we were strong enough to face them together.

After the ceremony, we celebrated with a reception filled with laughter and joy, surrounded by the people who supported us through our journey. We danced the night away, reveling in the happiness of our love and the knowledge that we had found our happily ever after.

In the years that followed, we continued to build a life filled with love, adventure, and mutual respect. We raised a family, traveled the world, and faced every challenge with the unwavering support of each other.

As we grew old together, we looked back on our life with pride, knowing that we had lived a full and meaningful life. We knew that our love story had broken boundaries and challenged conventions, but we also knew that it had inspired others to believe in the power of love and the beauty of diversity.

And so, we passed away peacefully, knowing that we had left behind a legacy of love and hope. Our love story continued to inspire others, proving that love knows no bounds and that a happy ending is possible, even in the most unconventional of circumstances.
