**Cassie’s POV**

I cannot help but take a rest for a few days. If my mate has been a strict husband for me ever since we entered this lovely marriage or relationship, now he is stricter with the fact that I am carrying the possible next alpha of our pack.

But the fact that I cannot leave these four corners of this room... It makes me sicker to look out the window, and I am just reading books.

Someone knocked on the door, and it was Rea. She is holding a tray with the food that I am craving right now. Cheesecake and banana milkshake I bet my pup will be as white as milk and have beautiful eyes, like golden cheese. What a weird description!

"Luna, alpha, said that the Clark family will arrive on this day. The announcement of your pregnancy will happen this evening," she said while putting the food on the table.

I smiled. "Thank you, Rea. If you can also, please send this letter to my father's house. I am looking forward to my family knowing this news also," I muttered.

"As you wish, Luna."

She left, and I was here alone again, savoring the taste of the cheesecake. It will not surprise me if one day I gain so much fat because of what I am eating. My metabolism became quite slow because I could not do vigorous activity, and it was also an effect of my pregnancy.

The evening will come later, and some of the people serving here in the packhouse are inside our guestrooms. They are changing my clothes and putting on enough make-up. I look less pale because of the blush on, and, amazingly, I do not look fat in my dress.

"Both the Anderson family and the Clark family are asking for your presence, our Luna." I nodded in response and walked out of the room.

I carefully go downstairs, and they are all looking at me.

My four idiotic brothers are still the same. No matter how they tried to close their dirty mouths with their shitty hands, they were mocking me with their silent laughter.

I put my fist on my back and balled it. I wish everyone could leave this living room first because I want to beat four male species with no balls or brains at all.

I saw my father looking at me with that sparkling effect in his eyes. If my friend's family wasn't here, I would gladly serve them a plate of hot, spicy pancakes. Honestly, my family is a bunch of weirdos. Ugh.

My mate, Kaiden, is waiting down the stairs, and he is looking at me as if I am a precious treasure that he will protect whatever it costs. If you have not found any man like him, the way he can look at me this way, then that is not true love.

"Ahem," Aron faked his cough while setting near his parents. He is concealing his dark expression with his innocent smile. I guess there is nothing new about it.

We sat on the opposite couch. Only a few people knew about my pregnancy; it should be a surprise so that we can enjoy this day.

"What is this meeting all about? By the way," Alpha started, the father of Kaiden, I mean. "The actions you took are commendable, son! I am happy that you at least created a strong solution against those filthy rogues. Keep it up, and I trust that you are the most suitable member to be the successor."

With the words of Alpha Andy, I can see Aron on the other side clenching his fist, and his eyes cannot hide his short, deadly gaze out of nowhere.

I can see it; everything makes sense. Though I want to blame everything on this guy because it is already obvious that he is the person behind all of these schemes,

Everyone looks shocked for a second, and I foresee this reaction in them.

Luna gave me a warm hug, and I felt so loved at this moment.

"I am so happy for both of you, and I know that your pregnancy will not be easy. When I was pregnant with Kaiden and Aron, I felt all the pain in the world. But there is no greater happiness than giving birth to your child. Please be healthy." The Luna has this warm personality. I am such a lucky woman to have such a kind mother-in-law.

"And you, take care of your wife and soln to be a pup. Our grandchild should be healthy and safe no matter what! Do not give her any stress!"

"My daughter," Dad said emotionally. I want to be embarrassed, but I can feel his sincerity. So I embraced him.
