"It's just been I few days, yet, I can't wait for king Demons to leave this Palace. I'm so sick and tired of seeing his face" I whimper. I don't know why but I have never appreciated him.

"You don't have to be this uncomfortable just because of his presence, he can't do you anything... Chill, Adams is here for you" Maryline says.

"Oh, Maryline stop being too nice. I'm not more a child that you have to say nice things to. I know you hate him as much as I do, everyone does... Can we have a proper discussion and gossip as we ought?" I pout.

"Oh, I'm sorry, girl, it's a habit I had cultivated and it's very important with the kind of job I have. I always have to be vigilant with what I say and I learn to keep my opinion to myself. In contrary to you, I don't have the privilege to say what I think loudly" she explains.

"With me, you are free to say whatever you want to. In my world, you are the Queen and now I'm ready to be your servant" I say while bowing my head in reverence. I'm seated on the kitchen sink on which she's slicing the vegetables.

"Oh, what a relief... My servant should prepare these vegetables for me?" Maryline drops the knife on the chopping board with a deep breath out and stares at me.

"Oh, the servant won't resume work today!" I exclaim while stepping down the sink. "Eve, don't forget I'm the queen" she taunts. "Of course, my Majesty!" I bow in reverence.

"Good" she hands me over the knife. "Fortunately, your servant happens to be very busy and she has to leave" I run out of the kitchen with the speed of light. "Silly, girl" she nods her head with a heavy smile as she continues her work.

I ran out, strolled a little then went back to my room. Adams left the palace very early in the morning and I was left all alone.

"Where is Maryline?. Where are all the damn cooks of this palace?. I want you all to prepare a little feast for my son, today..." he happily screams "Today is finally the day of the full moon" king Demons moves out of his room yelling with joy.

Yelling so loud that I could get him from inside my room. I immediately run out and meet him in the corridor, moving to the great hall.

"Adam won't be okay with this" I move to the King yelling and openly rejecting his idea and it's something which he despises the most. He veers back with a very nasty look on his face "Young girl, watch your mouth and mind your business" he exclaims.

"Adams' business is my business and I know he won't like what you're about to do" I insist. "Shut up and get out of my sight, stupid brat" he moves away.

"Maryline" he shouts while moving to the great hall. Where Maryline immediately follows him and I follow them as well. "Sorry" Maryline mouths to me before attending to the king Demon.

"My king" she bows. "You know what to do, a small something with much drink. I'm expecting a few nobles from both kingdoms. Everyone has to witness the ascension of my son. And..." he explains. I frown and I move away. No one ever listens to me when he's around.

The sky was orange, getting gloaming. After a very long day in the forest, I return back home to the palace to have some rest. I'm worn out.

As soon as I enter the gate I see Eve running toward me and it appals me because she looks very worried "Sorry, Adams, I tried to stop him in vain. He won't just listen" She says and I'm seriously confused.

"Stop who?... What are you talking about?" I wonder aloud. "Go in and see for yourself" she says. "Is it about Demons?" I ask but she says nothing.

I hurry in to see for myself as she said but I knew it was going to be about my dramatic father. I scrambled into the great hall and surprisingly it's filled with a few people; a dozen or more, anyaway I don't count. I'm so angry for that.

I go to dad and I pull him at a corner with me "What the fuck are all these people doing in this palace without my permission?" I yell, in a low tone thou.

"Oh, someone loves power... Nonetheless, I'm sorry, son, I was going to ask for your permission but this morning I was informed that you left the palace very early and I couldn't celebrate this special day with them" he says.

"Stop telling lies, dad. Those noble are from Caelum that mean you invited them before today why I'm I getting to know about them just now?. You should stop acting as if you are the King here!" I warn.

"Oh, you worry to much like an old woman. They are just a few nobles men and they are all here to celebrate you. In a few hours, you will be the an alpha" he gives me a gentle tap on the shoulder "Relax!" he says.

"I had a very hectic day and now I'm coming back to this... Hmmm... I'm not in the mood for any celebration. I need to rest" I chide. But does he care?.

"Nothing is stopping you from resting. The full moon is going to occur in a few hours you should go and rest. While we remain here celebrating you" he says recklessly.

"Okay, I will remove myself" I move out of him. "Eve, can we?" I offer my arm and she wraps her hand around my arm and we move away.

In the room, I lock the door behind me. I'm not very excited about being an Alpha. However, I won't claim that the whole thing makes me indifferent because it will be a lie. Yet, I don't see any need for celebration.

I veer closer to her and pull her into my arms "I want to witness this eclipse with you, in your arms," I whisper and she blushes. We are standing in the middle of the room.

"But before that I need to take a bath" I take a step away from her, and I start undressing.

"Let me get you some hot water" she offers but I stop her "You don't have to. I will use what's available" I kiss her before moving to the bathing bowl at the other end of the room. "I think it's the water we used in the morning... Adams, it's damn cold" she whimpers.

"Oh, so you worry about me?... Hum, that's so lovely" I taunt. "Don't be silly. I don't care about you. I'm just saying that the water is too cold." she defends herself as I entered the bowl.

"I don't care. I don't want you to leave this room. Just seat here and watch me. Or... are you scared of my nudity?" and the water is very cold. "I'm not" she seats in bed and fling her stars away.

At first, I didn't watch him. I shied away from ever eye contact with him. Yet, he kept staring at me. Without realising I was already watching him. Omg, he's so cute, I tell myself.

After a few minutes, I moved out of the bowl with my stare glued on her. "I can't believe this, he's moving towards me with his wet body" I yell to myself and I fling my stares away.

Then, I feel a very cold touch on the shoulder that gives me a freezing chill down my spine "Adam, you're wet... and cold..." I whimper. He veers around, grabs my jaw and perks me. He whimpires "Fine" then moves away.

He takes out a piece of towel to wipe his body after which he wraps it around he's waist and joins me in bed, naked. He lays next to me and fastens me in his arms. Without realising it we both fall asleep.

Later in the night, Adam shudder out of sleep. It wasn't full moon yet when he moved out of the bed. He sat by the window starting at the sky.

Suddenly, my eyes weakly open and I notice that he was out of bed already. I discretely look around and I see him so I stay in bed watching him from a distance. I wish I could know what he was thinking.
