We are done with our first two lectures and it now the time for me to fill my tummy with something nice but the queue in the cafeteria is just so annoying. Jenny use the opportunity to gist me about the guy that had been flirting with her since she got into the school.
I don't think any guy will ever interest Jenny except from the fact she had been overwhelmed about getting herself a boyfriend so I don't know if she likes this new guy but hopefully I will be meeting him very soon. We take the seat just at the center of the cafeteria to eat.
"He is a complete flirt but I think he is quite interesting"Jenny giggle, I pause on my food to look at her.
"Are you for real right now? you just say it with your own mouth that the guy is a complete flirt which means he is a play guy and..."I pause when I saw the Vamp catwalk and arranged properly and everyone on the queue move away for them.
Some are taking pictures and other drooling while some don't even give a damn fuck about them and that someone is me, I roll my eye at them. Tom's eye seems to scan the cafeteria until it land on me, a smile tug on his face.
I roll my eye and look away. "You will lose your eye ball very soon"the voice ring in my head. I can hear him! I can read his mind!.
"Yeah, you can and that why you can f**king hear me"his word seems so clear to me right now.
"Why is this even happening to me?"I asks.
"I don't know either, it should be my gift but I share them with you for a reason, with time you will understand okay"he explain.
"This is crazy!!"
"But I am crazily in love with you"
"Just get out of my head moron"I frown at him.
"Are you even listening to me"Jenny tap me and I look away from him.
"Yeah...sure... totally...it fine, I understand, he is a total flirt and..."I stop ranting when I find her looking grave at me.
"Why are you staring at me like that?"I arched my brows.
"I stopped talking about Sam and now I am talking about you"She snort.
"Oh...me? I don't think I am important"I fake a laugh but she isn't even buying it at all.
"Just stop it will you!"She frown.
"Fine!! I am sorry"I muttered.
"Alex, I am saying this to you....I know something is wrong somewhere and if I am finding out myself without you telling me I am ending our friendship especially if it as to do with that guy staring at you"She stated.
"Who is staring at me?"I questioned.
"Why will Tom even be staring at you?"She asks.
"How do you even expect me to know"I shrug.
"Alex"
"Jenny I am serious and there is nothing between us so you don't have to get all worked out yet okay!"I assured.
"Whatever"She roll her eye.
"So who is Sam?"I asks,
"I don't want to talk about that again"She scoff, she pick up her fork and starts to eat ignoring me.
"I'm relieved at the fact you are smart enough. No one must know about us or it will be more dangerous"Tom mind linked me again.
"Holy crap"I hit my hand on the table.
"Are you okay?"Jenny asks looking at me with some fear in her eye. I look around and few eye were on me whilst some doesn't even care.
"Yeah, totally"I replied as I sit back gently with a frown on my face.
I look at Tom with an angry face and my fist clenching. There is something I notice about them, they all aren't eating but their table is filled with more than enough.
Is that a way to protect themselves from been suspected.
"I lost my appetite"I drop the fork.
"What?...Why?"Jenny asks, I stand up and push the chair backwards.
"I will see you in class, I just remember the mathematics teacher asks me to see her during lunch"I lied and before she asks another question I exit the cafeteria and head straight to the library.
This is my first time in the library. Few students were there studying. What a nerd! they are reading even during lunch that bad.
"How may I help you?"the librarian asks.
"Hmm...I just need a book that involves Vampires or fangs"I said before realizing I just blurt out nonsense.
"You are new here?"She asks.
"Yeah!"I nod my head positively.
"Vampires?"She arched her brows.
"Nevermind I will just settle for chem..."I got interrupted by her.
"Actually there is a book in the library about Vampires, there is this particular girl that comes for it during lunch like you but suddenly she stopped coming and I haven't seen her since them until I found out she died the next day"She blabbed.
"And what does that mean?"I asks.
"Nothing just hold on a sec"She walk to a bookshelf behind her and grab a book for me.
"Take this"She hand it over to me.
I look at her for a secs then look down at the book it boldly written on it 'HISTORY ABOUT VAMPIRES'.
"Thanks"a smile tug on my lips.
"You are welcome"She replied, I look at her again before walking to a table.
I can still feel her glare on me and I feel so strange when she was talking to me.
I tried to read her mind just Tom use to do since he decides to share his stupid power with me but I couldn't. I can hear everybody in this library mind right now but not her. Who the hell is this Librarian?.
I open the book and I gasped at the first sight of the demon. The book doesn't even have an author and it looks old like it had been written in the ancient days, how come it in the school library and still looking new.
"Ability of a true Vampire, they read mind, they poison mind, they are faster than a running bullet, are most dangerous when tormented, they are immortals and live for years. They are blood suckers, they are from hell and only few have to ability to move between hell and the earth. The future of the Vamps had been said to be in the hands of a witch who is yet to be discovered. Years after years in the old century the Vamps have come together to destroy all witches to end the prophecy but it is said she hasn't been born and once. It is more dangerous if she knows her worth because she won't spare any single Vampire in the world. One, two will come together when the darkness has come and they will be in agreement and save the world"She was so engrossed in what she is reading and didn't realize some is beside her.
"The prophecy will surely come to pass"the voice say and I quickly close the book so scared and terrified.
Wtf!!
