Jace still feels guilty that he missed his wife's birthday party. He really wants to make up for it. Though it's late to do so, he still wants to do it.

“Happy birthday? But it's not my birthday," Constance said.

“I know, baby. I missed your birthday party and I really want to make it up to you."

“Honey, you don't have to. I'm no longer angry at you. I believe I will celebrate my next birthday party with you and it's going to be so magical because you will be there with me."

Jace smiles and touches her hand which is on the table. “I will definitely celebrate your next birthday with you. I will never miss it."

Jace actually loves the fact that his wife called him honey once again. She hasn't repeated it since the last time she said it and now that she calls him the pet name again, he feels happiness booming in his heart.

The internet is still on fire because of the public appearance he made with his wife but he doesn't care. All he cares about is that his wife forgave him and still loves him and all that matters is that he's happy with his wife.

“I have a gift for you," Jace said with a very bright smile which Constance returned but Constance was a bit confused. Isn't this a gift? This is the surprise he was talking about and should be the gift. What other gift is he talking about? She's already amazed by this gift, if he gives her another thing she thinks that she doesn't deserve, she might break into tears again.

“You mean everything to me my love, I want you to always feel my presence even when I'm not physically there with you and I also want to feel your presence even if you are not physically there with me. That was why I bought these two matching necklaces." Jace brought out the two silvery necklace with a diamond pendant. Constance's eyes widened in awe. She has never seen a necklace so beautiful as these and they are glistening beautifully under the moonlight. She believes these two pairs of necklace must be expensive. Her husband got an expensive and beautiful necklace for her, she feels like crying.

She has never received gifts in her life except the ones given to her by her parents. Her parents' gifts weren't expensive like these necklaces but she has always appreciated them. She also appreciates her husband's expensive gift.

“Do you like it?" Jace asks, the necklace dangling in the air as he holds it by its pendant.

“I love it, it's so beautiful. I will cherish it all my life." Constance meant her words, this is the first ever gift her husband has given her. This beautiful view on this rooftop is also a gift but it's not something she can hold forever. This necklace, it's something she will hold and cherish forever. Just like her husband said, this necklace will always remind her of his presence. Her husband said that she means everything to her, it made her stomach tingle in ecstasy. Her husband also mean everything to her

“I'm glad you love it. Let me help put it round your neck."

Constance nods. Jace smiled and stood from his seat, he walked over to her. He stood behind her and gently pushed her hair to the left revealing almost every part of her delicate neck.

Gosh! Why's his wife so beautiful? He's definitely holding himself back at this moment but once they leave this place and finally arrive in their room, he's going to devour this delicate body.

He had been doing so in the past days but it looks like he won't get enough. He can never get enough of his sweet wife. Jace can't believe that he nearly lost this rare gem because of his stupidity.

The moment he saw her this night as the moon shone on her delicate pale body,he was amazed by how beautiful she was. Yeah, she's beautiful but she looks incredibly beautiful tonight. If he's given the chance, he would watch her beautiful face all night. He's glad that she loves his surprise. Thank goodness Victor didn't fail him.

After putting the necklace over her neck, he placed a soft kiss on her neck. She giggles a bit. He stepped back a little and then gently turned her to face him. It's now that he sees the beauty of this necklace because his wife is wearing it.

“It's so beautiful." Constance beams. “The pendant is a key."

Constance is just noticing it. Why is the pendant a key? A beautiful diamond carved key.

“Yes, it's a key. It shows that you have the key to my heart." Jace raised the other necklace as the heart pendant dangled in the air. Constance's face beams in a smile and then she shyly takes her face away.

She couldn't help but almost giggle from smiling. This is so romantic. He got two matching necklaces. A heart and a key. She doesn't know why she feels so happy knowing that she owes the key to his heart.

Jace chuckled at his wife's reaction. “Help me with my own necklace."

He turned and bent down, giving her the back view of his neck, also giving her the necklace.

Constance collects the necklace and smoothly slides it over his neck. After she was done, Jace stood up and stared at her shining face. She looks happy and he's glad that he made her happy.

He has one lady gift to give her before they can eat. He will play one of his songs for her. He's actually working on a song but he will play it on her next birthday. They are both beginning their relationship, he believes that before her next birthday draws near, their relationship will grow and become stronger. He wants to make a song out of those beautiful memories they will share before her next birthday.

“I have one last gift for you," He said.

“Another gift?" Constance doesn't know what to feel right now but she actually knows that she's happy, she feels ecstatic. The two gifts he had given her are so beautiful. Tears are already pricking in her eyes and she's doing her best to sniff them back. What if he gives her another beautiful gift, how will she hold back her tears? She even thinks that she shouldn't hold it back, she has the right to shed tears of joy.

Jace walked over to where the guitar is, he picked it and returned to his wife. He drew the seat to sit close to her. Constance has a teary smile on her face as she stares at her husband who started playing the guitar.

At that moment, she felt she was in another world. A world where only she and her husband dwells. A world where love between them is flowing. It just feels magical and her husband's voice is the most beautiful voice she has heard. Watching him sing and play the guitar and also listening to his voice, she thinks that she's falling in love with him the more.

She couldn't hold back her tears, she can't fight it anymore. She started crying. She shouldn't cry but she can't help it. This is tears of joy. She feels so special tonight. She has never been treated this way in her life. No one has made her feel this special.

Seeing that his wife is crying, Jace stopped singing. He felt hurt in his heart and guilt washed over him. He didn't mean to hurt her, he only wanted to make her happy but it looks like she doesn't like this gift even though she likes others.

He keeps the guitar aside and moves closer to her.

“I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you." He raised his thumb and started wiping her tears again. His action and his tender voice made Constance cry the more. Jace felt more concern. He wanted to make her smile and not to cry.

“Baby, please don't cry. I'm sorry for making you cry." Seeing his wife cry, Jace felt like crying too.

Constance shook her head. He's not the reason that she's crying just that she couldn't contain her happiness. It made her feel emotional. She flew her arms and hugged Jace. Jace was a bit surprised but he still welcomed the hug. He thought he had hurt her but it looks like he didn't.

“Thank you, thank you for these gifts. I love them all," She said in-between her sobbing and she's still hugging him.

Jace was relieved. He's glad that she's not crying because he had hurt her but it's a tears of joy. It looks like he did too much and she couldn't hold back her tears.

After some while, they disengage from the hug. Jace cups her cheeks and gently wipes her tears. He gave her a gentle kiss on her lips.

“Thank you honey. Thank you for these gifts. I really appreciate them. You made me feel special today, I mean…. No one has treated me this way. No one has made me feel this way, I.…." Constance can't even get her words straight. She doesn't know how to thank Jace for making her feel this way. Once again, tears slid down her cheeks.

Jace still raises his thumb and wipes away her tears. “Baby, I will do anything for you. I will do anything to make you happy. This is nothing. I can do more than this to see to your happiness. I've hurt you in the past and I want to make up for it."

Constance smiles and hugs him again. What he did for her tonight is enough to take away the pains he caused her in the past.

After the emotional moment between them. Jace kissed her once again before drawing his seat opposite to his wife.

“Let's eat," he said with the most charming smile.
