Kayden's POV

I picked it up and wanted to smash it, for interrupting such a moment.

"Answer it" she shivered beneath me, because my hand was still firmly on her waist, as she bent over on the table for me.

"Shut up sl*t!!" I picked up the phone, as I thundered and accidentally answered the call.

"Hello boss, your wife is in front of a hotel crying.

Her clothes are turned and her hair looks like a mess, should I go help her?" A male voice spoke and he got my attention.

With widened eyes, I looked at the phone screen, it was the detective I had hired to watch Heaven.

"Don't! I'm on my way" I ended the call and let her go.

"Where are you going? Don't you want it anymore?" She was marveled by my sudden change of attitude.

"I have more important things to deal with" I waved my hands in the air and grabbed my jacket.

"Does that mean the interview is over? Did I get the job?" She arranged her dress and came after me, practically running to catch up with me because I was walking very fast to get to my car.

"No, I'll schedule another interview" I spoke and slammed the door of my car, then drove off speedingly.

Heaven was still standing in the same place she had been for over 15 minutes.

Even the guests of the wedding had begun to leave one after the other, taking glances at her while some laughed. Kayden would have gotten to her sooner if not for the neck-pressing traffic.

Heaven saw his car from a distance, she felt so ashamed and wanted to hide from him, but again her feet were stuck to the ground.

When he got to where she was outside the hotel, he rushed out of the car and covered her with his jacket.

"Kayden" she called out to him with teary eyes, hugging him so tightly.

Kayden had first guessed that his wife had been r*ped because of the way her blouse was torn and almost drove him nuts.

"What happened to you? Tell me, who did this to you" he made her look at him and shook her vigorously.

"Kayden please let's just go home, before he comes out" Heaven wanted to leave with him as soon as possible.

"Who?! Who are you scared of?" Kayden was already losing his mind, especially when he saw that her hair had been cut so short. He just wanted to kill the person that hurt her and made her cry so much, and in public too.

"Whoever had the guts to do this to my beloved wife, will not leave to see the break of dawn" he assured her and patiently waited for her to talk.

"He…he got married" she cried out some more.

"Who and why would his marriage hurt you so much.? Who r*ped you?" He blurted out the question.

"No one r*ped me Kayden, please just take me home" Heaven pleaded.

It was already too late for her to plead, because Jason already came out of the hall holding his newly wedded wife.

Kayden put two and two together and threw a blow at his nose, causing Jason to separate his hands from his wife.

"How dare you touch my wife?!!" He screamed and ripped Jason's wedding suit apart before he stepped on his bride's wedding dress, tearing it short.

"Wife?. So you are already married?" Jason was surprised as he struggled to pick himself off the floor while touching a bloody nose.

''Kayden let's go" Heaven tried to stop him but as always, Kayden wanted to make the person that angered him pay. He wanted to kill Jason.

"Kayden please" Heaven stood in between Kayden and Jason.

Kayden was about to slap Jason but since Heaven stood in between them, she almost took the blow, and the heavy breeze that came from Kayden's hand, made Heaven collapse.

"Heaven?" He tried to revive her but she wasn't responding. He didn't even touch her and she fell to the floor.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!!! MARK MY WORDS'' Kayden threw his fist in the air to give him another blow, but Jason had already made away with his bride.

Kayden scooped Heaven in his arms and put her in the car before driving off.

At the castle; Kayden's room

Kayden's POV

"Do you want to die?" I raised my voice at Heaven the moment she was awake. What made her think of doing what she did?.

"No. I'm sorry" she apologized to me but I stood up from the bed. I watched as she laid on the bed, looking all weak and pale.

I saw a maid pass by, and I signaled for her to come.

"Yes my prince," she said and I rolled my eyes at her gesture.

"Go get me a plate of food. Now!" I ordered and she dashed out of the room.

"But I am not hungry, I think I am full after what happened today" Heaven turned away from me, looking out the window.

"I don't remember asking you if you are hungry. I am also a human being so I need food, it's okay if you don't want it. I'll have it" I gave her a straight forward reply and she didn't look too happy about how I had spoken to her.

"Don't expect me to pamper you all the time" I rolled my eyes, and took the plate of food from the maid that had just arrived.

"Sit up and open your mouth. I left work because of you, don't make me regret that." I was trying to be gentle but she was just too stubborn, she turned her face away from me.

I grabbed her elbow and forced her to sit up so she could have her food.

"Open your mouth" I instructed her, but she turned her face away.

"I'm not a child, leave it. I will feed myself when I am hungry, just go away" she tried to be feisty but I knew just how to deal with her.
