Kayden's POV

"Stop! Stop! Stop!" Heaven started shouting, and I got so scared I had to stop the car.

"What happened?" I found myself asking her. Why would she even want to stop just before we could get to the office? I mean it's just a walk away, could she have forgotten something?.

"Stop here, I'll walk from here" she smiled and tried to open the door but I held her elbow.

"What is wrong with you?. We are almost at the office, so why do you want to stop here?" I asked her.

"Because, only you and I know that we are married, the entire office staff is unaware of that. And according to the contract, I am only your wife when it involves your family and the kingdom, not the office" she opened the door and waved me bye.

Heaven's POV

"Good morning Heaven" my colleague smiled at me, as she sat beside me.

"Morning" I breathed in deeply, I just wanted to get as much of the office air as I could. I don't know if I would be able to perceive it again.

"So where have you been?, and how did you manage to get a permit letter to be away for so many days?" She shook her head and turned the file in front of her. I just gave her a faint smile.

"I hope you are ready for your presentation today?" She looked at me with a big smile and widened eyes.

"What?" I placed my palms on my cheek, my jaw almost dropping to the floor.

"Don't tell me you have forgotten?" She stared at me like a lost sheep.

I forced a smile and pretended like I remembered and was prepared.

Oh no! I don't have anything to present, Kayden is going to be so mad at me. I will embarrass myself in front of everyone today, I should have just stayed at home.

I stood up and headed towards Kayden's office when I felt something dripping on my skirt but I ignored it.

I tried knocking but no one answered and when I opened the door, there was no one.

I turned around to leave, but while I was walking towards my seat I noticed the way everyone was staring at me. I even saw some of my colleagues laughing at me and I couldn't tell why they were doing that.

I touched my face to feel if something was on my face,but there was nothing.

"What are you doing?" I heard Kayden's voice whispering in my ear with his hot breath on my neck.

His hands were firmly wrapped around my waist, I tried to move because I was feeling embarrassed.

"Shh! Don't move '' he whispered hotly in my ear and I felt cold, having goosebumps all over. For a second, I felt his lips on my ear.

I didn't even realize that I was breathing so heavily, until he placed his hands on my chest, just above my twins.

"I am not going to hurt you," he assured me, rubbing my chest softly. I felt something wrapping around my waist, and it was not his hands. My eyes were still closed, but at least I was breathing at a normal pace.

"You can open your eyes now" he whispered, then I felt his hands unwrapping.

He had tied his jacket around my waist and covered my skirt.

"Why?" I turned around to look at him but I didn't calculate my pace quite well. My twins had collided with his broad chest and his lips had bruised on mine.

"I'm sorry" I apologized to the hearing of everyone in the office whose eyes were glued to us.

"You shouldn't apologize, this is what a husband does to his wife" he whispered to only my hearing, caressed my face and smirked before walking away.

Sometimes, I do wonder why I married him in the first place, I could have just f*cked him for the money to treat my mother, and then I'll be free of all these dramas.

"Awwn..seems like you are going to be the boss's new lover, she is going to be so jealous, especially because she did this to you" my female colleague who reminded me about my presentation spoke, pointing to a lady I have never met, not until now.

"Who is she? And what exactly did she do to me?" I found myself asking, the way the lady was looking at me scared me as well.

"That's Trisha, and she claims to be the one the boss is in love with. She can't stop bragging about how he can't get over her body.

And to be frank with you, I have heard them hitting each other in his office, only when the boss leaves the door open though, that's probably why she poured her nail paint at the back of your skirt" Anabel explained.

I shook my head softly and touched the back of my skirt, she was right, there was nail paint all over my skirt.

No wonder, Kayden had covered me up.

"Okay" I gave a simple reply and walked out on her.

I don't know why I had a lump forming in my throat.

Maybe it was because I have a presentation up soon and I have nothing to say, or maybe it's because I heard about Kayden having another woman. I know he does that a lot but hearing it from someone else hit me hard.

I walked into the board room, looking at everyone who sat there. It seems like they were waiting for someone, Kayden was the only absent person.

"Ouch,'' I moaned in pain when I felt a hard shoulder hit against mine and walked past me.

"Kay…" I wanted to address him by his name but he was my boss at work.

"I'm sorry sir" I averted my gaze, bending down to pick the file up.

"It's okay" he replied and I shook my head at how petty he was being.

"That is your presentation" he whispered and winked at me before walking towards the chair that was reserved especially for him. He is the boss after all.

Luckily for me, he had organized it so perfectly, it wasn't difficult for me to just read it out and pass it as mine.

The way he kept on staring at my lips while I talked made me wet. Yes, you read that right, this man was making me wet without touching me or talking to me.
