Kayden's POV

Heaven looked so distressed and in pain, I really felt bad for her.

I stood up from my side of the bed and went over to her on the couch.

"Does it hurt too much?" I asked her, as I hovered over her head, and began to massage her head.

"Uhhh….that feels so nice" she breathed deeply from her throat as she eased the tension on her shoulders.

"I'm guessing yes" I smiled and continued the massage.

"Woah!!" She suddenly realized herself, and then grabbed my hands, rotating me so I was now in front of her.

"Why are you helping me??" she asked shyly, trying to avoid eye contact with me.

"Because I like it when I make my prey happy, before I pounce on them and k*ll them" I smiled wickedly at her, before making her stand up from the couch, and pulling her close to me, making her twins collide with my chest.

She was breathing so heavily that I could clearly hear her heart pounding in her chest.

"Why are you so scared of me all the time?" I whispered.

"You just threatened to k*ll me and you are asking me that? You are really weird" I heard her talk in her head.

I couldn't control the loud chuckle that burst out from my throat.

"I am not going to k*ll you. I am not k*lling anyone okay" I freed her from my grip.

"Can I ask you something?" Heaven finally spoke after some minutes of silence.

"You may ask, '' I stood behind her, waiting for whatever her next question was going to be.

"Why did you defend me out there?, and why was no one able to stand up to you?.

Why didn't your uncle scold you for marrying someone else, and deceiving everyone?" she asked boldly in the beginning, stammering when she started asking about Alex.

"Whether they like it or not, you are now my wife, and no one has the right to disrespect you, because your status has changed now.

And as for why Alex wasn't able to stand up to me, I am sure when you stay in the palace for the next 2 years, you will find out for yourself" I smiled at her.

"Did you really k*ll your parents?" Her last question came as a shock to me, even to her as well, I could sense that she voiced those words out by mistake.

"I have to go now and if anyone bothers you in the castle, just tell me when I get back" I instructed her, ignoring her question before leaving the room.

Heaven's POV

One of these days, my parents are going to come over here and take my corpse away.

He was being so nice to me and the next thing that flew out of my mouth was "Did you k*ll your parents", seriously. I had to smack my forehead with my palm.

I have to get ready, I still need to work. I just can't trust anyone in this castle.

"Good morning your highness" one of the guards that stood outside the room greeted me. How did he get there so fast?.

"Good mor…ning" I dragged the greeting as I did not know how I was to react to seeing him.

"Why are you h…ere?" I asked and tilted my head towards the left, looking at him ridiculously.

"I am your guard for today, but of course if you don't like me.

I can call the other guards and you can choose the one you would prefer" He said, avoiding any kind of eye contact with me, keeping a straight face.

"Thanks but you may leave, I don't want any guard. I can guard myself" I replied, but I couldn't help but admire how cute he looked, not that he was cuter than Kayden but, I don't know, a lot of things are going on in my head.

"I'm sorry your highness but prince Kayden has clearly instructed that you are to be watched at all times'' the guard was trying to defend himself.

"So you will also escort me to the bathroom?" I asked a silly question ,which I only regretted after I had said it. What is wrong with me?

"No your highness but I cannot flunk prince Kayden's orders" he bowed in front of me with his hands knotted behind his back.

"And Prince Kayden has made those orders, so I can be comfortable and happy. I'm sure he wouldn't want to hear how unhappy you made me.

"I'm still sorry your highness, but the prince has instructed that I still shouldn't let you out of my sight, no matter what you say to me.

As long as you're in the castle, I should be with you at all times" the guard still insisted.

"So outside the castle you will leave me alone?" I asked him again, just to get more clarity.

"Y..es" he struggled to answer, because he also was confused.

I quickly got dressed into something more proper for the office, and climbed down the stairs with the guard trolling behind me.

"Here comes the Princess" a beautiful lady spoke as she approached me slowly.

From the look of things she was royalty, everything about her screamed royalty, from her dress to her jewelry, to the make-up she wore. Even the way her hair was packed nicely, also showed she had a lot of money.

"Good morning…I'm…" I offered a handshake but she squeezed her face.

"I don't touch trash, and I already know who you are, but you don't know how I am. I am princess Imogen and it would be better if you address me with my title" she spoke and furrowed her eyebrows.

The way she spoke to me, had to make me wonder whether I got married to Emma's fiance or hers.

"Nice to meet you princess Imogen" I gave off a faint smile, as I used my fingers to brush my hair behind my ear.

"Well, I wish I could say the same, but unfortunately I can't" she rolled her eyes, and was about to walk away then she stopped in her tracks.

"If I were you, I would leave this castle, because it wouldn't be nice if you were thrown out" she said when she had walked quite a distance away from me.

Everyone in this castle is crazy, probably the castle comes with craziness.

"Alright we are at the gate now so you may go" I waved the guard goodbye, when I had successfully walked outside the castle door.

"I will have to drive you to the office and then return back unless you know how to drive," the guard said softly.

"No…I don't know how to drive, but that's okay, I will get a taxi" I was smiling, and talking like a mad woman.

"You won't be able to get a taxi here…I will drop you off, please get in your highness" the guard smiled at me.

I looked at him and pondered on it for sometime before I finally agreed.

"Okay, but you will have to drop me at the gate of the company. Please don't drive inside" I spoke softly and he agreed, taking a bow in front of me.
