Chapter 37: Chapter 37

Heaven's POV

I stretched my hands on the bed. Opening my eyes, to see Kayden by the wardrobe, packing up his bags. Was he about to leave me again?.

"Good morning princess" he greeted without even turning around to look at me.

I didn't answer him and pretended to be asleep.

He walked up to me, and whispered so hotly in my ear.

"You are not very talented when it comes to acting" he licked my ear and then walked back to the wardrobe. But, even at that, I still refused to get up. Even if I did twitch a little.

"If you are done with your acting, then you should probably wake up to pack your bags" he informed me.

It didn't take too long before Ii sprang out of bed, like a kangaroo, and jumped on him.

"What did you say?" I found myself asking him. I don't know why I was so excited, but a vacation away from this dramatic castle sounded fun.

"I thought you were asleep" he mocked me, turning around to look at me.

While he flipped me and pinned me to the wall.

"Kayden, what… what are you doing?" I struggled to say, looking away from those pretty eyes of his.

"I am trying to get a glimpse of you, I want to know what you look like when you are awake in the morning".

Kayden whispered before nibbling on my ear, and making hot liquid gush out of my cumb almost immediately.

"But you have seen me in the morning before" I shivered, looking away from him. His hands, his touch, everything he did to me was setting my entire body on fire.

"Yes, but not when you are awake so early in the morning. I have only seen you asleep" he licked my ear, and at that moment my eyes rolled to the back of my head.

"Kay…den" I whispered, but it was more like a moan than a whisper.

He scoffed, smirking to himself as he released me.

"Hurry up, I don't want us to be late, " he said, organizing his bag.

"Late for what?" I asked while I had begun to pack some of my clothes as well.

It is quite odd that he would just ask me to pack my stuff without telling me where we were going.

"I thought you both had decided to go on a hunger strike or something?" Zamile smirked while picking up his scrambled eggs with a spoon.

"No! We…." Heaven wanted to say something, but she suddenly looked at Kayden who gave her a killer look, more like a warning for her to shut her mouth.

"Jeez, you should allow her to talk sometimes. She is your wife, and not your slave, she is also not your phone that you can just put on silent" Zamiel added, when he noticed the signals Kayden had been giving Heaven.

"And that's your food, it contains pepper and also the ability to choke you. I know you never learned table manners back in school" Kayden responded, pulling out a chair for Heaven to get comfortable, and have her breakfast.

"We attended the same high school," Zamiel scoffed.

"That doesn't mean you learnt it. Being taught is different from learning and understanding what is being taught. You would have known that if you attended classes" Kayden narrowed his eyes, sipping his tea carefully.

"Yeah, I didn't have the dreams of being a straight-A student like you" Zamiel laughed, and Kayden chose to remain silent.

Not because he didn't have what to say, but because he didn't want to say anything.

Heaven was still so shocked, hearing that Kayden was a straight-A student back in high school.

He didn't even act like someone who would pay attention in class,he seemed to be one of those students that would skip classes at every little chance they could get, like the bad boys.

But then again, it explains how he manages to run such a huge company.

"Heaven hurry up" Kayden called Out to Heaven, she had stopped by the grocery store to get some things she needed to cook.

Well, he had asked her to stop and get food stuffs.

"I don't understand Kayden, why are we buying so much stuff" she was very frustrated, dragging out all the groceries. They were enough to feed at least three people for a whole month.

"You will understand soon, just keep buying any other thing you feel that we are going to need " Kayden instructed her, walking round the store.

"It would be nice, if you would help me carry some of the things I have bought already" she murmured to herself. Kayden rolled his eyes, towards her and ignore her.

"How will I know what we will need, when you can't even tell me what we want to use them for? '' She snapped at him. It didn't take too long for him to stare at her wickedly.

"Did you just yell at me, in public?" He raised an eyebrow, moving slowly towards her.

In her attempt to move further away from him as he came closer, he made her hit the back of her leg on the shelf. There was no were else to go.

"It came out by mistake" she swallowed her saliva, while she tried to explain herself to her p*reverted husband, who didn't even care that they were in public.

Kayden touched her face with his palm and was about to descend his lips on hers, when his watch began to make a beeping sound.

"We have to go, '' he grabbed her hand. She didn't move her feet, he turned around and noticed that the things she had picked were still laying around.

He shook his head, as he carried a stroller, taking everything she had bought to the counter to pay for them. She stylishly trailed behind him.

Heaven noticed that the lady at the counter was staring Kayden far too much.

She didn't know what pushed her to do it, but she ended up standing in front of him.

"What the h*ll?* Kayden lamented, even though he didn't notice what had been going on.

He smirked when he heard her thoughts. He wanted to make her even more jealous as he offered his phone to the lady, asking her for her number in front of Heaven.

"He doesn't have a number to call you with" Heaven angrily said, and snapped the damn thing out of Kayden's hand before it could reach the lady.

"Gosh, Princess"!" He grunted, picking up his phone and checking for any damages, luckily there were none.

"Just do your job so we can go" Heaven angrily rushed the lady.

Who immediately snapped out of her thoughts.

"I don't know why you are getting so upset ma'am. Your boyfriend clearly wants my number" the lady at the counter, was still persistent on getting Kayden's number.

"Maybe you didn't hear me the first time. I said "my husband"... I repeat "my husband" doesn't have a number to call you with. So, are you going to package out stuff for us, so we can pay.

Or do I have to call your manager, and tell him you want to turn his store into a brothel" Heaven frowned, where she had gotten so much guts to talk to the lady, she didn't know. But even Kayden, had become scared.
