CHELSEA

"Hey Blaze! Come here, boy!" I called to Blaze as I saw him playing with his toys. He immediately came over to me and I led him into the mansion. We were greeted by Redemon who was carrying Blaze's leash. Once Blaze's leash was attached, Red handed him over to a maid to feed him before we set out on our trip. We headed straight to the dining room to eat the food prepared for us by Manang Fe.

"Eat! Eat!" Manang Fe urged us to eat. We didn't hesitate and started eating because I was really hungry. It was almost time for lunch and we would be traveling again later, so it's better for us to be full while on the road.

"Manang, do you want to come with Chelsea and me when we move? I was planning to hire a new maid but since Chelsea requested if you could come instead, I didn't push through with it." Red said as he scooped rice onto his plate.

"You'll take me with you? Really? Of course, hijo! I would love to!" Manang Fe exclaimed happily.

"What about me Ma'am? Don't you want me to come along too? Maybe Ma'am Chelsea needs a driver?" Kuya Roy slyly said but I knew he really wanted to come along as well.

"Yes Kuya, you can come too. Why not? " I replied with a smile. Kuya Roy's eyes quickly widened in joy. He even hugged Manang Fe in happiness.

"Thank you Ma'am!" He said in gratitude.

"You're welcome Kuya. I owe you a lot. If it weren't for you, I might have gone mad on that island. I don't know how to thank you enough for the huge help you gave me." I said to them. They both smiled.

"How was your trip to your new house, hija? Is it nice?" Manang Fe asked when she noticed that no one was speaking.

"It's very nice, Manang. It's just a little sad when I'm left alone because the whole house is so quiet. I might go crazy if I'm left alone there." I said.

"Don't worry, hija. We're here to keep you company there. Oh, by the way, hija, did your friend Angel come by? I heard he was looking for you. I told him what happened and he said to call him when you got back from the hospital. He seems very worried about you." Manang Fe said.

I haven't told Angel yet. I also couldn't contact him because I don't have my phone. I also don't know his number by heart. I'll have to contact him on Facebook later when I get home.

"Is that so... Okay Manang, I'll take care of it. Thank you." I said to Manang Fe in gratitude.

We didn't take long to finish eating. Once we were done, we each loaded our things into the car that Kuya Roy would be driving. Manang Fe and Blaze would also be riding with him.

I'm now in the living room waiting for Manang Fe to finish packing. I decided to use the new phone that Redemon bought for me. As I was using it, I saw Sofia walk in front of me and head towards Redemon's mother's room. I didn't pay her any more attention. I should have given her a harder slap for my effort to apply my hand to her face to be worth it.

"Love, let's go? Manang is already outside." Redemon surprised me by suddenly appearing in front of me. He helped me stand up and we were about to walk out when the door to Redemon's mother's room suddenly opened and Mrs. Buenavista and Sofia came out.

I didn't pay attention to Redemon's mother and glared at Sofia instead. She couldn't look at me straight and instead focused her attention on Redemon's mother.

"You're really going to leave the house you grew up in just for that woman?!" Mrs. Buenavista said angrily. The old lady was starting again. Sometimes God really does test you and puts these kinds of people in front of you.

Red didn't pay her any attention and gently pulled me to leave. "Once you step out of this mansion, I'll consider you as having no longer been my child! Is that how much wrong love can do to you? Don't you see that that woman is just using you? You're my child but you're blinded by a worthless woman! I didn't raise you to be like that...." She sobbed and it was like she was about to faint so Sofia quickly supported her.

"Tita, calm down..." Sofia said.

"If these people act as if they're just role-playing in school, they need to first attend a workshop so that we might believe them. If I were to grade their performance, not even 1 point would they deserve. But because I'm kind and they made an effort, I'll just give them .5.

"Have you already forgotten that I disowned you first as my parent?" Redemon spoke without expression and quickly walked away while still pulling me along.

We also heard his mother screaming and saying other things, but we ignored it and headed straight for the car. Manang Fe and Kuya Roy were already outside. When they saw us, they quickly got into the car with Blaze. Redemon opened the door for me and helped me get in. When I got into the car, I saw the two demons peeking through the door. Mrs. Buenavista's face clearly showed her disappointment in her son's decision.

Redemon also looked at them, but he quickly turned his attention back to the car and started it up. We began to leave, with Manang Fe and Kuya Roy following behind.

Our journey was quick because there wasn't much traffic on the road. I had even thought about falling back asleep, but when I saw that we were almost home, I didn't follow through. I checked the side mirror to see if Kuya Roy was still following us and was relieved to see that he was.

"Love, can you speed up a bit? I really have to pee..." I awkwardly said to Redemon. I was about to explode. The cold from the air conditioning was making me want to pee. My hair was also standing on end. Redemon noticed this, so he turned off the car's air conditioning and just opened the window. As I had requested, he sped up his driving.

It had only been about five minutes since we arrived home. He waited for the gate to open and as soon as he stopped the car, I quickly got out and headed straight for the bathroom. I almost peed in my pants but was fortunate to sit on the toilet just in time. I felt like I was releasing all my frustration as I peed for a long time. I heard someone knocking on the bathroom door, "Are you okay?" It was Redemon's voice. "Yup! Success!" I yelled in response.

I just washed my hands before coming out of the bathroom. I saw that they were bringing in the things. I approached Manang Fe.

"Manang, Blaze is mine now. I'll bring him to his dog house." As I picked up Blaze.

"Wow! Blaze has a dog house too? Okay, I'll come with you." Manang Fe excitedly said and accompanied me to the back of the house.

"Wow! There's a pool! Can we go swimming there?" Manang Fe asked upon seeing the pool area.

I smiled at her question. "Of course, Manang. Do you want to have a pool party for the welcoming party of this house?" I said and saw that Manang Fe became even more delighted at what I said.

When we arrived in the garden, Blaze became even more playful when he saw his new dog house. It seemed like he understood that the dog house was for him and he was thrilled. I just removed the leash and let him run around in the garden.

"Manang, let's go back inside." I said to Manang Fe. We immediately headed back inside the house.

They were starting to put the things in their respective rooms. Redemon pointed out the two rooms on the first floor that will be the rooms of Manang Fe and Kuya Roy. On the second floor was the master's bedroom, and when I looked at it, our king-sized bed with Redemon was already there. We won't have to sleep on the sofa anymore.

Everyone is busy fixing things up. I'm currently in Manang Fe's room and helping her organize her things.

"Manang, tomorrow can you come with me to the grocery store? So we can stock up the fridge. There are already a few things in the fridge, we just need to add more." I said to Manang Fe as she was busy organizing her closet.

"Sure, daughter, and so I can familiarize myself with the place here." Manang Fe replied.

After we finished organizing, we immediately left the room. We also helped Redemon. As it was getting dark, Manang Fe suggested that we start cooking for dinner. Redemon and Kuya Roy left, I don't know where they're going.

"What can we cook... Hmmm..." Manang Fe said as she was getting ingredients.

Manang Fe and I agreed to cook Chicken & Veggie Stir-fry and Easy Chicken Alfredo Penne because those were the only dishes we could make with the ingredients we have now.

We started cooking. I sliced the ingredients that we will use for sautéing. When I finished, I heard Blaze making noise at the back. He must be hungry. It's good that there's already stock of dog food at home. I just took a little chicken and mixed it in with Blaze's dog food. When I went to the back, Blaze became even more vocal and was running around. I immediately gave him food and filled his water bowl before going back inside to help Manang Fe set the table.

Just as the food was ready, Redemon arrived. He brought boxes that I think were appliances. When the food was set on the table, we ate dinner together.

After we finished eating, Redemon opened a bottle of wine and gave each of us a wine glass. We hung out in the pool area and had a conversation there. We talked about our upcoming wedding. Redemon doesn't want to reveal any information, he wants it to be a surprise.

Manang Fe suggested that it would be better if we got married in the church and here in the Philippines. She said that way we can experience a typical Filipino wedding. She said she'll take care of the guests. The more guests, the merrier. I couldn't relate because I don't have any relatives to invite. It would probably be better if our wedding is private and only a few acquaintances need to be invited. The important thing is that we get married. I don't desire a grand wedding anymore.
