Chapter 166: Chapter 166

He was clothed with only a shirt beneath his sweatshirt and jeans as he did not know where Anna was going when she sneaked out at dawn. Anna was wearing the same clothes she had in the morning, but with a bullet vest and magazine vest topped on it, so she was somehow thickly clothed compared to Lucien.

“Here, have one of this first,” Brianna took off the magazine vest she was wearing and helped Lucien put it on him. “Rescue was right outside the warehouse. If we did not move, that means we are still within the area, and we will be found soon.”

“I am not sure if we are still in the same area as you think. I just woke up earlier than you. I can’t tell for sure if we moved and already stopped or if we haven’t moved at all,” Lucien answered.

“I don’t think we’ve been out that long,” Brianna thought aloud.

“I wonder how you can say that so,” Lucien snorted.

“Huh?!” Brianna cleared her throat. “Did I say it out loud again?”

“Yeah, apparently,” Lucien replied with a chortle.

“Ahhh,” Brianna snorted, then explained her mind. “I should have felt cramps from being in the same position for a long time had we been unconscious sitting here. Besides, we couldn’t have lasted unfrozen with this temperature,” Brianna stated.

“You have a point there,” Lucien agreed. They must have been in a rush knowing our rescue was getting too close.”

“We actually have ways to open that door, we can move back and blow it with a small bomb, but we don’t know what will wait for us behind that door,” Brianna spoke seriously as she stared in the door’s direction.

“We might quicken our ends if we do that. We should wait for our team to find us,” Lucien sighed, nodding as he agreed with her words. “But I hope they find us soon before we both freeze to death.”

Brianna was also starting to feel colder as the thickest vest she was wearing was now on Lucien. She began to shiver, and Lucien noticed her.

“I guess I still need that hug despite having the vest,” he humorously uttered.

“I don’t think a hug would suffice to this cold,” Brianna closed her eyes as she murmured.

Lucien noticed she was not totally resisting his idea. He embraced his right arm above her shoulders and pulled Anna closer. But to his surprise, Brianna straddled him. He did not expect her to move, so his legs straightened on the floor folded, crossed-leg, protectively.

Brianna knew what she was doing. She was also aware that it would be ambiguous if their rescue found them this way. But survival had always been in her system.

“We have to get warmed up,” Brianna spoke indifferently.

“I can feel myself getting warmed up,” Lucien spoke hesitantly. “But I am not sure when to stop if you sit that way on m…,” he added.

Lucien did not get to finish his words. His lips were sealed with Brianna’s in a rough brushing of their lips. He could tell she was in a hurry, but he could also swear she was not very sure of what she was doing. Yet, the mere fact that Anna was taking the initiative to be intimate with him was igniting a passionate fire deep within Lucien.

“You are getting warmer,” Brianna murmured as her hands, cupping both of Lucien’s cheeks, felt warm. “You have to share,” she mindlessly added, then resumed doing what her lips were doing earlier.

Lucien’s hands were holding her by the waist, but this time they moved to cup Anna’s face and spoke softly to her.

“Anna, let me,” Lucien whispered before he captured her lips and softly, sensually, kissed her.

Brianna did not understand Lucien’s words at first, but as she felt his lips moving, she realized he was showing her how to kiss properly. There was a clear difference between what she did to him and what he was doing. She was amazed at how her heart seemed to be captured by his kisses, not just her lips alone.

“Okay,” Brianna nodded as they both took a breather from the kiss Lucien gave her. “Now, let me.”

Brianna kissed Lucien back with the same intensity, passion, and speed, according to how she felt it from his actions. Her hands also started to roam around his neck, face, and head. She was thinking about spreading the warmth in her hands to his body to melt the cold that was wrapping them heavily.

It was sunny and warm outside, but because of that, the freezer temperature was intentionally lower to avoid spoilage of the meat products inside the truck. It was making things more challenging for the two people inside to stay alive.

Lucien felt Anna’s hands touching him, and he could feel the heat radiating from her palms. He did the same for her. Then he slipped one of his hands inside her shirt while the other was still holding her nape, securing to keep her in place as he savored her sweet kisses.

“She learns too fast,” Lucien thought. “Well, I shouldn’t be too surprised. She might have been just too tough by nature that even with her kisses, she is too fierce.”

He felt too excited to think that his proof of masculinity stood proudly in attention. He was careful not to break the enchanting moment. He was worried the spell casted by the circumstances on Anna would wake her up, cut the fun, and end the moment too soon.

“I want more,” Brianna groaned.

She ground her hips as she sat above Lucien’s lap. She was lost in the feeling. She was enslaved by the creeping warmth from all over her body. New sensations were being awakened from deep within her being. Her body was moving without her brain even knowing, or maybe her brain does know, only weak to let sanity win over the enticing tickles her senses were sending to it.

“Anna…” Lucien grunted as he felt her crotch sending friction to the most sensitive part of his anatomy at the very moment. Her words were adding fuel to it. Lucien felt like he was drowning in a deep combustible gas, and Anna’s every word and move were threatening to send sparks and burn him defenselessly.

“You feel so good,” Brianna bury her face in Lucien’s neck. “You’re so hot…” she added, with her hips grinding more and closer.

“Anna, if you keep doing that, I am not going to let you go,” Lucien growled. He was too aroused, and he felt like his body was a blazing fireball inside that freezing room, or truck, or whatever they were stuck and locked into.

But Anna was deaf to everything Lucien was saying. She was after the warmth she was enjoying. She was aware there was a price to pay to get this warmth and survive. And she was willing to pay. She was prepared to pay. Brianna was totally abandoning the consequences as long as she got herself out of her alive. But Lucien was cautious not to get them found in compromising regard.

As a man, he could care less, seen or not. But he did not want it to happen to Anna. Whether the people to open the door would be their enemy or their rescue, the mere thoughts of being in an awkward situation were making Lucien keep his sanity and hold his reins.
