Chapter 14: Chapter 14

As Kelly had asked of Nick, he agreed to stay for the night. His room is kept the way they were so he can sleep just like he used to before he moved to his pad. But before the three of them head to their respective rooms, Kate and Nick helped Kelly clean and tidy the kitchen up. They don't have helpers or housemaids to do the task. It would all fall into Kelly's if the two do not help. With the three of them doing all the tasks together, they were done soon and went to get ready for bed. Kelly made sure Nick had all he needed before she went to bed.

"Nick, honey?" Kelly knocked on his door gently.

Nick was already on his bed reading some files on his tablet, but as he was dressed decently with a set of pajamas, he did not hesitate to let Kelly in.

"It's open, mom. Come in," Nick replied.

Kelly just peeked from the door. She did not want to bother him so much, so she was only going to ask a quick question.

"Do you need anything else? I have to take some meds before bed, so I might not wake up until morning," Kelly said apologetically.

"I think I'm good. Good night, mom!" Nick, who was leaning on the headboards, half seated on the bed, sat up straight when Kelly opened the door to peek.

"Alright, then. Good night!" The stepmom replied, then gently shut the door.

Nick heard Kelly knock on Kate's room which was right across his, and the two exchanged good nights

then footsteps of Kelly, assumingly, were heard before another door was shut.

Silence filled the whole house.

It was only around half-past ten, but since the next day was another weekday, the three of them would have to wake up early and go to school while Kelly went to work. Usually, Kate would be asleep just like her mom, but as she had a long nap, Kate could not lull herself to sleep.

"I better review some lessons and tire my eyes out," Kate got up to sit on her study table. She checked her lessons for today. She sure missed some due to the detention she was summoned for. It was her Sex Ed class in the afternoon that had homework sent for her to do. She had to watch a video about actual intercourse. It showed how to avoid pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. It showed how to use condoms and other birth control alternatives. It explains how having sex without a condom can lead to pregnancy even if the man ejaculates outside the vagina. It showed how male organs would release precum while sliding in and out of the female organ.

Kate felt hot watching the video clip. She had to stop, pause the video for a while, and leave her room to get a drink of water. She went to the kitchen.

Nick heard Kate's door opened and he assumed Kate was also having a hard time sleeping since she had a good nap early in the evening, just like him. He thought about telling her to drink a glass of warm milk to help her sleep, so he got up from bed and walked to the kitchen. Nick did not see Kate on his way to the kitchen, so he decided to warm a glass of milk and knock on her door to give her. She cannot stay up so late. She still needs to wake up early tomorrow, he thought.

Kate was on the porch to get some air when Nick walked to the kitchen, so they did not cross paths. But she also went back in as soon as she felt the cold breeze of autumn's late night. She was already back in her room when Nick knocked on her door.

"Kate?" Nick softly called out with a gentle knock. But he did not hear any answer. "She couldn't be sleeping already, right?" Nick asked himself, looking at the glass of milk in his hand. He knocked and called again.

"Kate?"

Still no answer. He turned the knob. It wasn't locked.

"She must be in the bathroom," Nick thought. He decided to leave the glass of milk on her bedside table. She would surely notice it when she gets back from the bathroom and drinks. He gently opened the door.

"Kate?" To his surprise, she was sitting right at her study desk, watching something on her laptop screen. She must have ear pods on, he supposed. He walked closer. But he froze on his feet when he reached her back. He was only a step away from where she was, and if she ever turned her head even halfway only, she would see him standing next to her.

She was watching a Sex Ed video. It wasn't porn, but Nick was feeling hot all over. He knew that lesson. He took it himself when he went to high school but watching the damn thing, even then, aroused him. It doubled now, knowing Kate was watching it, too! Nick did not know what to do. Should he walk back out now? Should he let Kate know he was inside and watching right behind her? He might freak her out! Nick looked at the glass in his hand. He wanted to curse himself for insisting on giving the milk to her. He should have backed out when she did not hear him knocking. But he was worried she wouldn't get enough sleep tonight.

"Nicholas, you are such a fool!" He murmured. Still unable to move. But he saw Kate was becoming restless. Her hands covered her mouth, then her face. Nick looked at the screen. It was the part where the male organ was rapidly going in and out of the female organ. He knew the sex didn't have any sounds other than the narrator. It was a computer-generated voice, so it wasn't erotic, but there is a part where the moaning of someone having sex would be played and explained as the orgasm builds within the female, as well as the grunting voice of the male as ejaculation takes place. Nick noticed Kate's legs kept exchanging as they cross one above the other, left to right, then right to the left.

Nick was unable to move a step. Forward or backward, both became so difficult to do. He knew he should walk out of the room before Kate realized he was behind her, but his stupid foot won't budge!

Kate must have felt his presence, she turned her head, and her eyes almost popped out of their sockets in so much inexplicable mixed of emotions. She did not do anything wrong, but she felt like she did. She was worried Nick would misunderstand what she was watching. She did not realize that Nick himself had the very same subject at school when he went to senior high.

Kate quickly stood up, and with her body covering the screen, she moved her hands behind her back and folded it. Nick, who was more scared than Kate, spoke at the same time with her.

"Nick! It's not what you think, I swear!"

"I'm sorry, I knocked, but you didn't answer."

Both fell to silence. Both embarrassed.

"You first..."

"You first..."

Both spoke at the same time again.

Kate bowed her head. She was so embarrassed, but she was more scared Nick would misunderstand, but she didn't know how to explain herself.

Nick was also embarrassed. He literally walked in without her permission, which was invading her privacy. He extended his hand with the glass of milk.

"I just thought you were having a hard time to sleep because of that nap you took earlier, so I brought you a glass of warm milk," Nick explained earnestly.

"Thank you," Kate timidly accepted the glass, and as she was feeling her throat was too dry from watching that silly video, she gulped the milk down in one go, leaving a white line by the end of her lips. She wiped her tongue around her mouth, knowing she had some milk on them.

Nick could not help swallowing his spit as she swags the milk, and her neck showed how she swallowed all of them gulp after gulp.

Kate wasn't doing anything to arouse him, and Nick was sure of that, but his shaft was stubbornly showing its pride as his front started to create a tent of its own.
