Khushi was busy in the preparations for tomorrow in her bedroom while Abeer was sitting in the living room on the couch comfortably, thinking something deeply.

Abeer was waiting for his dinner when the servants came empty handed.

" What the hell? My stomach started growling in hunger but all of you did not bother to prepare the dinner for me on time. Don't you guys know, I can't tolerate hunger.", Abeer roared out aloud, in anger.

"We.. We are sorry Sir. But Madam, was preparing your dinner since evening and strictly prohibited us from coming in the kitchen so we remained outside the whole time.", one of the servants stuttered, in his trembling voice out of fear.

"Madam, Who madam? You all know very well that I live alone in this bungalow. Who is this madam and why was she preparing my dinner?" Abeer questioned being confused himself.

Suddenly someone from behind came and closed Abeer's both eyes with her palm.

" Guess who's back? ", The girl asked in her chirping voice and pointed out to the servants to leave from there.

" Mia? ", Abeer asked, trying to remember her from her voice.

"Yeah, you got it. But how? I came back from Germany after 5 years but then also you identified me.", Mia questioned being surprised.

"Come here, first.", Abeer pointed his finger towards the chair to sit her down. And she sat beside him.

"I knew you since you were 3 years old, Remember? Then how could I forget your voice even if I did not talk to you within these five years.", Abeer explained, making Mia smile.

"You don't have any idea, Abeer, how much I have missed you. Because after my parents left me in that car accident, only you are in my family. My only friend. My well wisher.", Mia said smilingly.

"But Weren't you the one, who told me not to call you or came there to visit you?", Abeer questioned, arching his eyebrows.

Mia went speechless and started thinking for some time, remembering something.

"Hey what happened? Where were you lost thinking now?", Abeer snapped at her, grabbing her attention towards him.

"Ummm...nothing.. We will talk about this later. First let me serve you, the dinner is ready.", Mia said pointing towards the dinner.

"Yeah.. Okay... I am really hungry. If you listen carefully, you will hear the sound of rats dancing in my stomach." Abeer laughed and Mia joined her too.

"Arnan are you daydreaming with your open eyes?", Khushi snapped at him to grab his attention towards her when Abeer was busy thinking in his own world of thoughts.

Abeer looked towards Khushi and came back to reality, realizing the present situation.

"Yes, are you saying something?"Abeer asked, looking at Khushi.

"Yes, Not saying but shouting at you from the last five minutes but you were lost somewhere else in your own world that you didn't even consider my presence here. May I ask you what you were thinking so deeply?", Khushi questioned back, arching her eyebrows.

" No.. Nothing.. I was just tired after making the lunch so did not realize when you came here. "Abeer tried to justify himself.

" Oh! I am sorry. My mistake. I did not realize that you were feeling tired. After all, you have not recovered well fully. In Fact, you should go into the bedroom and rest on the bed comfortably. You were not comfortable on this couch, I can see.", Khushi said in her worried tone.

" Okay okay I will go and take a rest but first tell me, why were you screaming at me for so long? ", Abeer questioned.

" Oh! I forgot that. Actually I came here to ask you that tonight Chris and I will be going out to celebrate my happiness of getting this job so if you are comfortable and feeling well, then will you join us too? ", Khushi asked out of nowhere.

"When I told Christian about my job to Christian, he started shouting for giving him a big treat so I could not deny him. He selected the venue and timing so if you want, you can come also.", Khushi suggested with a smiling face.

"It's not good to wander outside like this. What will happen if someone sees and recognizes me?" Abeer questioned himself.

"So for this sole reason you will leave Khushi and Christian all alone at night. What will happen if she overdrink herself there and someone tries to take advantage of her. I know how Chris is, whenever he got a chance he became overdrunk. If he himself lost his sense then who will help Khushi? ", Abeer questioned back again to himself and became very confused.

" So yes or no? ", Khushi asked, breaking the silence and observing Abeer's confused face.

" See, if you are not feeling good then I will drop this plan. We will go together some other day or if you say I will go alone. But don't stress yourself too much, if you are not comfortable then leave, I will manage by myself. Don't worry. I will prepare dinner for you and then go out with Christian. "Khushi added, seeing Abeer's worried face.

Abeer was in a dilemma. He could not understand what to do in this situation. Suddenly he got an idea and he started smilingly.
