Khushi was busy preparing breakfast when she got a call from an unknown number. She immediately received it so that Abeer won't wake up from the noise of the mobile ring.

"Hello! Who's this?", Khushi asked, receiving the call.

"Hello Ma'am. Am I talking to Khushi?", Girl on the other side of the call asked.

"Yes, Khushi speaking. How may I help you?", Khushi asked back.

"Ma'am today is an interview at ABC hotel for the job of personal secretary and we have got your resume from some sites. So if you liked to join the interview, you are welcome.", The girl informed.

"Omg! Seriously.. Don't tell me you are kidding or it's just some kind of prank on me.", Khushi tried to confirm.

"No Ma'am we are not joking. It's our hotel management that will choose the best candidate after the interview process. So are you ready for it?", The girl asked.

"Sure. I am coming. Just tell me about the venue and timing.", Khushi inquired.

"Ma'am we will send the venue and timing to your respective email. Just don't forget to be on time.", The girl suggested smilingly.

"Yeah sure. I will be there on time. Don't worry and thank you so much.", Khushi said and cut the call to finish all her household work on time so that she would reach the venue on time.

"Thank you so much god. Finally, I can see a ray of hope in my life. And I will try my best to get this job for us.", Khushi spoke to herself in her heart.

After two hours, Abeer finally woke up from his deep slumber only to find no one in the house.

"Where is Khushi?", Abeer questioned to himself, looking everywhere when his eyes landed on the note at the table. He went there to check it out.

"Hey! Arnan first of all, I am sorry for leaving you alone but I really don't want to disturb you in your sleep since you need rest so I went out without informing you. I hope you are feeling good now.

I received a call from ABC hotel in the morning and I am going to give my interview to crack it. So please pray for me that I will get this job.

I had already made breakfast for you. It's in the kitchen. After having your breakfast please don't forget to have your medicines that are on the table.

Take full rest and don't leave the bed because your body needs rest. Wish me luck and hope for the best.

A small smile came on Abeer's lips after reading her note.

"So finally she will get the job in one of my best hotels. Don't worry Khushi interview is just a formality and this whole act is arranged for you so that you don't have any doubts on getting this job. After today, all your financial problems are going to be solved. ", Abeer spoke to himself and went towards the bedroom to use the washroom and get ready.

" Bo.. Boss you can't do this to me. A small mistake like this doesn't need a big punishment like that. ", Marcus said holding his throat in fear.

" I can do anything Marcus because Everything is fair in love and war. You heard it right?", Damian questioned with a smirking face.

" Boss, I am really very sorry. Please forgive me. I will not do something like that in future. I promise. Please save me Boss. ", Marcus spoke, feeling dizzy.

" That's the point Marcus. I can't take the risk of giving any second chance to you because I am very loyal towards my people who work for me and Stella is one of them. You tried to create misunderstanding between us which is a big crime in my eyes and I can't forgive you for such a big crime. ", Damian explained.

" I will not commit such crimes in future Boss. In Fact I will not even look at Stella from my eyes if you say. But please save my life. ", Marcus pleaded joining his both hand and crying badly.

" Good. I like it. So you promise that this won't happen again? ", Damian asked to get confirmed.

" Yes boss.. I will make sure to maintain a proper distance whenever Stella comes in my way. I will not look at her or talk about her to anyone.", Marcus promised with tears in his eyes.

" I guess you got your lesson which I want to teach you. Now you may leave. ", Damian ordered.

" But boss I am not feeling well. I think the poison starts working and showing its effect on me. ", Marcus said holding his heart and head both simultaneously.

" Such an overacting. I did not adulterate your drink. Neither you drink any poisoned drink then how it starts showing its effect on your body. ", Damian revealed the truth.

"Are you kidding Boss? Then why am I feeling dizzy?" Marcus questioned being confused.

"No I can not. And you are getting these symptoms because of fear. So now leave and don't show me your face ever again otherwise next time I will not leave you so easily. I will make sure that you will get punished for every sin. And that time I will be not joking but serious. ", Damian roared in anger making Marcus flinch at his position in fear.

" Thank you Boss. Thank you so much for forgiving me this time. And I promise nothing like that is going to happen in future. ", Marcus said and immediately raised from his seat to leave.

"Bastard!"Damian cursed him, seeing his retreating figure in anger.

"I promised you Stella that since the moment I confessed my love to you, you are not alone in your path. I will always take a stand for you and will always protect you from evil eyes. After all, I can't see my love in danger. Never in my dreams, I could not imagine how you had handled everything on your own baby.
