"Please universe save me this time. I will try to be more careful next time for sure."Abeer asked in his heart and turned to face Khushi.

"What happened? Why did you become speechless all of a sudden? The more I remembered you got injuries on your body not on your voice. Then why are you silent Arnan?", Khushi questioned, arching her eyebrows.

"Umm... Actually.. I was just..", Abeer stuttered trying to find a suitable excuse to escape from the situation.

"Now don't tell me that you caught all of them and went outside to throw them altogether.", Khushi mocked Abeer.

"Wow! This girl always saves me either directly or in an indirect way. Now I will use the same excuse to save myself otherwise this would be my last day in this house.", Abeer spoke to himself in his heart.

"Again you got silent. At least tell me what is happening to you exactly?", Khushi asked, annoyed.

"What will I say? I mean I know you won't believe me. That's why there is no need for my explanation to you.", Abeer said, making a sad face.

"Why do you think like that? First tell me, I will listen to you and then decide.", Khushi spoke.

"You were right that time. I genuinely caught two of them and went outside to throw them out of our house so that they won't come back again but in my hurry I forgot to inform you about that but never in my dream did I think that you would doubt me for such a small thing. ", Abeer spoke in his hurtful voice, making sure that Khushi would feel it.

Abeer was trying to emotionally blackmail Khushi as he had no other choice to escape from the situation.

" Oh! I am really very sorry. Please forgive me for doubting you. I did not know why all of a sudden I started thinking like that. I am really sorry Arnan. Please forgive me.", Khushi apologized realizing her mistake.

"It's okay Khushi. It happened sometime. You don't need to apologize for that.",Abeer said, hiding his smile.

"Okay then forget everything now. Let's come, the yummy super delicious dinner is ready and waiting for us to come and eat them. Wash your hands and face and then come. I am waiting for you.", Khushi said and turned towards the kitchen to serve the dinner on their respective plates.

" Waiting for me? Oh! No... Today I got caught very badly. Firstly that mice excuse and now dinner. How will I eat when my tummy is full, having a surprise dinner with Scarlett?", Abeer questioned to himself, making weird faces.

"Why are you getting late? Come fast no, I am really very hungry, Arnan.", Khushi's voice broke Abeer's chain of thoughts and he started moving towards the dinner table.

Abeer sat down on the chair after washing his face and hands and was really surprised that Khushi took his talk so seriously that she made all those dishes that Abeer had wished to eat.

"Oh no! She not only made all those items but also made them in large quantities as I have told her. I get caught in my own trap. My tummy is full and has no space to eat something again and fill it inside. Then how will I finish it without making an excuse and if I don't finish this then Khushi will get hurt afterall she made all those dishes with so much care and hardwork. How will I let her waste them? ", Abeer spoke to himself in his heart.

Khushi started serving all the dishes she made specially for Abeer in his plate and then served for herself and sat down to start the dinner as she was feeling hungry too.

Few minutes later she realized that Arnan had not even started eating and was silently watching her eating.

"Umm... What happened? Didn't you like those dishes? See what list you had given me, I made everything for you without any complaint. Then why are you not eating? What's wrong?" Khushi inquired looking at Abeer.

"If I told her that I am not feeling well and don't want to eat then also she starts worrying and If I told her that after having a full time dinner with Scarlett my tummy is full then also she will kick my ass and throw me out.", Abeer thought in his mind.

" Now again you started your silent treatment. I am observing you starting acting weird from evening. Should I call the doctor? Are you alright? ", Khushi asked seeing Abeer's state.

" Yeah.. Yeah.. Everything is alright. You don't worry. I was just confused after seeing the dishes from where to start? ", Abeer pointed out smilingly.

" Oh! That's the reason you did not start eating till now.", Khushi reasoned before adding. "That's easy, you should Start with noodles.

" Yes! Noodles I will start with..umm..yummy. You really made the dinner delicious Khushi. ", Abeer appreciated after munching his bite.

" You like it? Thank God I was so scared whether you will like it or not. As for some dishes I don't know how to make them so I used the Internet to look up their recipes and then made it for the first time. ", Khushi revealed hesitantly.

"Oh! No. It's all my fault. Just because I wanted to meet Scarlett and did not find any excuse I made Khushi work so much for me without any reason. I was not that hungry. It's just I thought she will get busy making all these items and I will get some time to spend with Scarlett but I did not know that she doesn't know how to make them.",Abeer spoke to himself in his mind.

" But see, she did not say no to you. In Fact she searched for those recipes on the Internet and then learned them for you and made it a super delicious dinner. ", Abeer's heart pointed out, making him realize his mistake.

"Why all of a sudden I started feeling like a selfish person who used her for his own selfish reason?"Abeer questioned himself in his heart and started eating everything she made without looking at her.
