The beautiful golden sun rays entered the room silently through the window making Khushi turned her face away from it as the sunlight was disturbing her sleep.

"Umm.. Someone please put the curtain on the window... I don't want to wake up right now.", Khushi whispered in her sleep after turning her back towards the window.

After getting no response she opened her one eye to scan the surrounding and then only she realised where she was actually!

" Oh! No.. How could I sleep? I promised myself that I won't sleep the whole night and wait for the morning to happen. Then how the shit I was sleeping so peacefully here?", Khushi asked herself after sitting on the mattress and observing her surrounding.

Abeer was sleeping on the bed with his back facing Khushi. As Abeer had already kept in his mind that before Khushi would wake up he would shift himself from the floor to the bed.

And as he planned when the birds started chirping and flying in the sky, Abeer realised its early dawn and the perfect time to leave Khushi's place and go back to his bed.

Before leaving, Abeer closely scanned her once again. It seemed like he wanted to capture her peaceful face in his eyes forever.

Abeer tried to put her hands down from her chest slowly and then covered her up with the blanket completely before leaving.

Khushi checked on Abeer as soon as she wake up and realised that he was also sleeping peacefully there at the bed.

"If he was sleeping there like this, did that mean I did not do anything last night?", Khushi questioned back herself, confusingly.

"Arghh!!! So many questions roaming in my mind and I haven't had answers of any of them.", Khushi mumbled, feeling frustrated.

"I think I should go and get ready before these boys wake up. As there is no point standing here and talking to myself alone.", Khushi thought in her mind, realising that she was talking to herself for so long without getting any answer in return.

"But I must say after waking up I feel really fresh and relax not like other days, dull and gloomy types. It seemed like I slept a peaceful sleep last night.", Khushi declared looking at the window.

After taking her clothes from the cupboard when she was going towards the washroom she realised that Abeer was also getting annoyed in his sleep due to the direct falling of the sunrays on him.

" Oh! So Mr. Stranger wanted to sleep some more.", Khushi said, smirking, and suddenly an idea popped up in her mind.

She came in between the window and Abeer, who was sleeping on the bed. Due to this the sunrays get blocked from falling on Abeer and his face get relaxed but then again Khushi moved herself from there.

So that the sunrays again started falling on his face and he started making weird faces due to annoyance.

Khushi started smiling seeing him making weird faces and then she again came forward blocking the sunrays falling on him.

Khushi started enjoying this game and smilingly seeing Abeer's reaction. But then she realised she will get late if she would continue this game like this.

So she hurriedly moved torwads the window and pulled the curtains so that Abeer would sleep peacefully without getting disturb.

She went towards the washroom to get her morning business and then after getting ready will prepare the breakfasts for all of them.

"Sir, here is your chocolates, toys and books as you have requested.", the old lady forwarded the shopping bags to Damian.

"Thank you so much for helping me out. Whenever I needed a shoulder I always found you besides me. Thanks a ton Mrs. Briganza.", Damian thanked the old lady.

"No need of these formalities Sir. You are like my Son and a mother never hesitate to help when it comes to her son.", Mrs. Briganza said. "Don't forget I'll be always there for you whenever you need me, Sir." She added.

"I knew that granny and I am really happy that at least God has shown some mercy on me by giving you besides me otherwise, how would I handle everything alone?", Damian questioned, holding her hands tightly.

"But Sir, don't you think Scarlett has all the rights to know the truth which we are hiding from her so long? What would happen if she came to the truth from someone else? Do you even realise how would it going to affect that small girl?", Mrs. Briganza started throwing one question after another squeezing Damian's hand.

" Frankly speaking Granny, I don't know how would I face that situation when the dark secret of my life get revealed in front of Scarlett? How would she react and how would I explain her everything?", Damian asked being impatient.

"But Sir the more time you will take, the more it is going to hurt the little Scarlett. After all she is a small child, not a big grown adult who would realise how difficult it is for you to hide this secret from her.", Mrs. Briganza suggested looking at Damian.

"I am scared granny... I am really very scared when it comes to her. I mean noone believes that the person who don't think twice before killing someone, whose name is enough to make someone quiver, is himself scared of losing someone.

Yes, Granny I am really scared. I don't want to lose her now. I had already lost her mother, whom I loved with all my heart. Now, I can't tolerate one more loss from my life. She is the only reason I am alive. She is the only reason I am breathing.",Damian said, and a lone tear escaped from his eye.

" Don't worry Sir..Your intentions behind this is pure so don't feel guilty of yourself. You are doing this all for her. She will definitely understand your genuine intentions behind this and would forgive you soon. But before that you can't lose hope. You have to be strong Sir. ", Mrs. Briganza said." Now get up she must be waiting for you." She added.

And Damain raised from his seat, taking the shopping bags along with him to move towards his car to reach his next destination.
