The moment Christian fell on the floor, Khushi turned herself around and snatched the gun from Abeer and shot him in anger, seeing her best friend's body lying on the floor lifeless.
"Snappp", The gun fired from Khushi's hand.
"Khushiiii!!!", Abeer screamed her name, opening his eyes and found himself sleeping on the bed. He looked around and found himself in the bedroom.
There was no one else in the room.
'Was that a dream?', He wondered and recalled how he slept after talking with Scarlett.
Looked like he ended up falling a sleep.
Abeer quickly stood up on his feet and walked out of his room to check on Khushi and Christian.
When he opened the door he found Christian watching TV, with drinks and snacks and Khushi who was sitting next to him, falling half asleep with her eyes closed and head falling on Christian's shoulder for support.
Abeer quickly ran towards the place where they both were sitting and sat next beside Khushi, holding her head on his shoulder.
"Hey! Buddy you are awake? I thought you might be sleeping so I did not disturb you.", Christian informed looking surprisingly at Abeer.
"Yeah... I was actually sleeping but saw a nightmare which led me here.", Abeer whispered so that their conversation did not disturb Khushi's sleep.
"I think she needs rest. Let me take her to the bedroom. Then we will enjoy together.", Christian suggested looking at sleeping Khushi.
"What? What do you mean by together? You got me wrong. I am not that type of person.", Abeer informed looking awkwardly.
"Umm.. What that type?", Christian whispered slowly being confused.
"I mean I am not interested in boys.", Abeer explained looking everywhere but at Christian.
On which he earned a big laugh in return because Abeer's reply made Christian shocked and surprised at the same time.
"Sshhh!! Why are you laughing so loud? Your voice will disturb her in sleeping.", Abeer mumbled looking at sleeping Khushi.
"Because you took me completely wrong buddy. Neither I am interested in men nor I am that type of person. I am always interested in girls.", Christian answered staring at Khushi's sleeping figure which did not go unnotice by Abeer.
"Ahhmm..ahmm..", Abeer faked a cough to get back Christian's attention on him instead of her.
"We can chill like party together by watching some series or any movie. I have drinks and snacks ready with me.",Christian suggested arching his eyebrows.
"Oh! I am sorry. I misunderstood your words.", Abeer apologised realising his mistake.
"It's okay buddy your assumption made me laugh so much so I don't mind by the way let me make her sleep in the bedroom and then we both chill together.", Christian informed bending towards Khushi to take her in his arms.
Abeer was watching their closeness and somewhere getting restless. He did not know how to stop Christian from picking Khushi from the couch.
In no time his hands automatically touched the glass that was on his side and an idea instantly came in his mind and he pushed it from the table so that Khushi woke up hearing the breaking voice of glass.
The glass fell on the floor with a cracking voice grabbing Christian and Khushi's attention as planned by Abeer.
"Ah! What happened?", Khushi asked opening her eyes hearing the noise.
"Umm.. Nothing just the glass was broken by mistake.", Abeer informed with a smiling face.
"So why are you smiling? Is that some kind of joke for you?", Khushi asked in her angry voice.
"Umm.. I am sorry.", Abeer apologised instantly realising the situation but deep down he was really happy that his planned work and Khushi woke up at the right time.
"I am sorry Chris. I did not realise when I dozed off here at the couch itself. Please don't mind. As of now as I am fully awake let's watch some movie together.", Khushi suggested looking at Christian who was still in his bend position to pick up Khushi.
" Yeah.. Why not sure! ", Christian responded straighting himself and gesturing Abeer to come and join them for the movie.
And the trio started watching movie enjoying their Christmas together.
