"Everything was going perfectly if that stupid lawyer did not interrupt with his silly laws. The whole empire would turn out on our son Neil's name. Now what?", Alexia questioned in anger.

"I know my father very well. He will never become ready to transfer everything on Neil's name. Whatever reason my Mom will give to satisfy him, he will not accept it.", Logan responded fuming in anger.

"What if we remove him from our path? Everything will be sorted out so easily. You know what I mean honey?", Alexia suggested smirking.

"Don't you dare to think something like that otherwise I won't take a second to kill you with my own hands. After all he is my father. No matter what he had done to me in the past." Logan said raising his index finger at Alexia making her flinched at her position in fear.

" I am ju...jus..just suggesting an idea. ", Alexia stuttered with fear visible in her voice.

" Now leave before I will do something else that you don't like.", Logan screamed at the top of his lung.

"Just now I read your messages Chris and it melts my heart that my best friend cared for me so much.", Khushi declared coming from her bedroom after using washroom and checking her mobile.

Abeer and Christian both turned their head in the direction from where the voice came behind.

"As I guessed she proved it right. Now her showoff will start soon but I have to stop her before she started ranting her so called best friend appreciation.",Abeer talked to himself in his heart.

"You didn't read them. I thought you were waiting for me after reading my messages. Oh! Now I knew why you became surprised at my arrival. By the way the dinner was just amazing. You made my day with your cooked meals. I guess your hand knows some kind of miracle otherwise who cooks such yummy and delicious foods at home?",Christian asked smiling at Khushi.

" I guess the right answer for this is the Five star chefs. They were handling so many customers on daily basis just because of their great knowledge of cooking skills. ", Abeer replied to Christian.

And both Christian and Khushi gasped in shocked at his reply. They both were staring Abeer silently as if they had seen a ghost alive.

" What? I was just trying to answer your question, buddy. ", Abeer said looking at both of them.

"Hey! Khushi come here and eat your food now. Otherwise the food will become cold and I know you very well you will eat it like this. I know how lazy you are!", Christian suggested trying to change the topic.

"Yeah you are right. By the way I want to say something if someone don't like food prepared by me then they are most welcome to go in Five star hotels and enjoy ordering their favourite food.", Khushi said glaring at Abeer, which made Abeer coughed at first place.

" I think its better if I keep my mouth shut otherwise I would be in a big trouble for sure. ", Abeer warned himself in his heart.

" Mr. Stranger was just joking Khushi. Don't take it too seriously now come here like a good girl and eat your dinner. I will go in the kitchen and placed everything at their own place after cleaning and you will not stop me from doing that because you know very well how stubborn I am! And after that I will join you guys and we will watch movies and play games. ", Christian declared making his way towards the kitchen.

Leaving the prey and the predator , Abeer and Khushi behind alone. Now don't ask me who is the Prey and who is the predator here.

" Come sit. I will serve you dinner. ", Abeer suggested taking plate in his hand to be served.

"No thanks. God has already given me two hands and I will help myself. You don't have to worry or showoff your fake concern towards me Mr. Stranger.", Khushi said and started serving herself.

"So you have decided that you will not talk to me in a normal way. And now after your best friend arrived you will enjoy this Christmas eve with him only?", Abeer questioned fuming in anger.

"Is there any doubt in it?", Khushi answered faking a smile.

"Okay then what's my role here. You guys enjoy and I am going to sleep now. Good night.", Abeer said and turned his heels towards the bedroom.

Khushi started eating her dinner when the sound of slamming of the door came from behind making her look back and she rolled her eyes looking at Abeer's action.

" Huh! What did he think I will become normal with him so easily after that heated argument between us? No... Never...", Khushi declared taking a bite from her plate.

"Why it seems like I am stuck in a war where both the party were ready to attack on one another anytime soon?" , Christian said to himself after seeing the situation in front of him.

Christian ran towards the living room after hearing the voice of the door where he witnessed Khushi and Abeer's fight.

Now we will see who will win this game? I am sure you all are going to enjoy their cute cat and mouse type fight.
