Abeer came out of the bedroom to witness the two best friends hugging each other like their whole life depends on this hug.
Khushi was hugging Christian tightly but Christian was quite confused as Khushi did this only when she was having something which was troubling her inside but she could not share it with him due to being uncomfortable and Christian never tried to interrupt her privacy. But he always consoled her embracing her tightly in his arms as a good friend.
"Aahhmm.. Ahhmm..", Abeer faked a cough trying to interrupt them in their happy moment.
"Hey! Champ how are you?", Christian asked Abeer breaking his hug with Khushi and she closed the door welcoming Christian inside.
"I am fine.. What about you bro?", Abeer questioned back taking the corner seat of the couch.
"I am all good Buddy. Just came to enjoy the Christmas eve with my best friend as I know she must be feeling alone when these festival arrives and her mood get really low that time.", Christian informed.
Listening to Christian's word Abeer gazed at Khushi who was starting Abeer back. Abeer broke the eye contact instantly and moved his gaze toward Christian.
" Khushi is really lucky I must say. Having such a helping, caring and thought friend in her life like you is no less than a blessing to her.", Abeer said faking a smile which did not go unnotice by Khushi.
"Yeah.. I am really lucky in this case that I got such a kind soul in my life otherwise, there are people who are so ungrateful to you that you don't find enough words to describe their cruelty towards you.", Khushi said to Christian taking a seat beside him.
"Oh! He is a kind soul and I am a cruel one. Wow!", Abeer exclaimed to himself in his heart, anger visible on his face.
"Obviously, if people are not ready to share their pain and worries thinking that the other person will know that automatically without telling as if that person is sitting in your heart and could understand what actually the heart wants to convey then only the problem begins. Because noone here is a God who will read thoughts of one's mind without telling. But people don't understand that simple thing. They start judging you with their own assumptions they made for you. ", Abeer said looking at Christian smilingly which only increased Khushi's anger towards him.
" If I am not wrong then I guess you both are playing some argument type of game in which you both were giving death glares to each other as if you guys get a chance then you would eat each other alive.", Christian declared who was listening their heated argument from a long time.
Christian's statement made Khushi and Abeer realised that they started fighting again even without talking to each other but by explaining their opinions and points to Christian and they felt guilty towards this part as he came here to enjoy and not to witness their fight.
"Umm.. No.. No.. You get it wrong buddy. Why would we fight? We have no reason to continue at the first place.", Abeer tried to make an excuse to escape from the situation.
"Yeah.. Mr. Stranger was right. After all we are not enemies who are ready to kill each other if their enemy entered in his territory without informing.", Khushi said faking a smile.
"Oh! Really? Then I might be wrong. You know how bad I am when it comes to read people by face.", Christian declared and started laughing at himself thinking that the other two will also join him but soon he stopped himself when he realised that the other two party was busy glaring at each other as if they would get a chance they would kill each other just by glaring.
"Ahmm.. Ahhmmm...", This time Christian faked a cough to get the attention from both of them to him.
"Make yourself comfortable here. I will come back with the dinner and then we all enjoy the dinner and the sweet dishes, you bought for me especially.", Khushi stressed the last word purposely so that Abeer would also listen.
Khushi took the bags from Christian and went towards the kitchen for preparation leaving Abeer and Christian behind.
" So Buddy did you remember anything related to your past? ", Christian's question made Abeer faked a cough again as he was shocked with this sudden question from his side.
"Hey! Have some water here.",Christian said forwarding the glass full of water towards Abeer.
Abeer took it and gulped it in one go.
"Umm.. Actually nothing... I still have no memories of my past truth to be told.", Abeer said making a sad face.
"It's okay buddy.. Don't take too much stress. Just have faith in God he will do everything for your own betterment at the right time. So just relax.", Christian tried to console Abeer looking at his sad face.
"Yeah.. You are right.. That's why I also stopped stressing myself too much as it hurts here.",Abeer replied pointing towards his head.
"Oh! Then you should not make yourself stress otherwise, it would affect your health.", Christian replied worrying for his health state.
"Actually you should take rest champ. I will go and join Khushi in the kitchen. Maybe she needs my help.", Christian said and turned himself towards the kitchen leaving Abeer behind.
"Huh! Now I am seriously feeling like a stranger who caught himself here. Now they both will going to enjoy this Christmas eve leaving me alone. Maybe they would get so busy that they will forget about my presence here. His timing was so wrong what to say on this topic? He did not even give me few minutes alone to apologise for my rude behavior in front of Khushi. And now in his company she would not let me say anything or let me stay near her as she will be going to enjoy this evening with her so called Best friend.", Abeer spoke to himself, losing his mind in anger.
"Smells like something is burning!", Khushi's sudden voice made Abeer looked towards her in shock.
