Mrs. Ember was standing at her room's window, staring at the sky and lost in her own world of thoughts when her daughter - in- law, Alexia, interrupted her privacy by knocking on the door.

"Mom, really sorry to disturb you at that hour but you haven't eaten anything since morning and before you take medicines you have to eat something otherwise you can't take them and you can see we can't take another person risk of falling ill.", Alexia said holding the tray, a plate full of oranges and apple, toast with peanut butter and a glass of fruit juice.

" Yeah.. Leave this on the table, I will eat it later. ", Mrs. Ember said trying to make an excuse of avoid eating her breakfast.

" No Mom, I will not listen to you this time. You have to finish it in front of my eyes otherwise I won't leave you alone here. ", Alexia replied.

"Okay.. Okay.. Give me the plate here.", Mrs. Ember forwarded her hand in Alexia's direction.

Seeing Alexia's caring attitude Ember's eye get moistened.

Mrs. Ember sat on her favourite chair and started eating slowly so as she won't miss the medicines on time.

After twenty minutes, finally she finished everything on her plate and then Alexia gave her medicines and she went to sleep after that due to medication.

Alexia took the tray in her hand and slowly closed the door without making a noise so that Mrs. Ember sleep won't get disturbed.

Logan was watching some videos on her laptop when Alexia came up holding a glass of wine in her hand.

"What happened? Why are you drinking at this hour of time?", Logan asked diverting his gaze from the screen towards his wife.

"You know Logan, frankly speaking I am fed up of your so called family, darling!", Alexia said taking a sip from her glass.

"What? How dare you speak like that for my family, Alexia?", Logan questioned angrily.

"Oh come on honey, no one is watching us here so stop your overacting.", Alexia snapped back.

And there comes an evil laugh from Logan side.

"Honey, we are not left with any other option than to adjust ourselves here and to compromise with them.", Logan declared.

"That old stupid lady. Oh my god! How much I wanted to threw her out of this house. Being getting old she still dominates us. Can you believe this?", Alexia asked shrugging her shoulder.

"This place should get the tag of a zoo, I must say. Everyone here is a masterpiece I tell you. First, your father who won't trust us but blindly trust Abeer's father and Abeer. They treat our family like a trash and thinking about this just boils my blood in anger. We don't even know that Is Abeer still alive or dead? Even before the accident he didn't live with us. He used to live in the penthouse alone. Away from all of us. Then also I don't know why my father - in- law loves him so much. Even Abeer's father who kept himself drown in drinking day and night so much that he did not even know that his own son was no more in this world. ", Alexia complained to her husband in an irritating tone.

" I still could not forget Alexia that how everytime my own father has chosen my elder brother, Rajveer over me. He blindly trust him with every matter, you know. I just hate him. God knows why he was still alive? It would have been better if he also died with her wife long time ago. But still now my mind would get peace listening to Abeer's death news. I hate them this much, Alexia. ", Logan said, hatred visible in his eyes.

" Mom and Dad have fallen ill due to Abeer's sudden demise news but I don't understand why on the earth our own daughter lost her senses getting his death news?", Alexia questioned angrily, gulping the whole wine in one go.

" I have talked with the best doctors, Alexia don't worry she will be fine soon. But you know the main mystery here is who on this damn earth dared to kill Abeer the dangerous and heartless Mafia?", Logan asked with questioning eyes.

"I think maybe someone from his rivalry party!", Alexia exclaimed narrowing her eyebrows.

"No Alexia. Do you think Abeer is so weak that his rivalry party could end his life. They had already tried so many times before but everytime they had failed miserably. It's not that easy to kill that mafia leader, Alexia. Don't forget even we had tried so many times but our plan failed everytime.", Logan said, reminding Alexia about their past experiences.

" How could I forget that? I remembered everything very well. Then now, here the question is who is the real culprit who knew everything and watching all of us behind the curtain? ", Alexia questioned, raising from her seat.

Khushi was in shower and enjoying time with herself after such a long time.

" It's the right time to talk with Luca and Scarlett while Khushi was in the bathroom otherwise, if she comes around I'll not get the privacy.", Abeer said to himself looking at the washroom's door.

Abeer slowly came out and locked the bedroom door as he could not take the risk of getting caught red handed again.

" Hello Luca, I called you to inform about me. Whatever information you gathered just message me and wait for my call. Whenever I'll get time I will call you back. Is that clear to you?", Abeer reminded Luca as he won't take any chance now when he got the news of Khushi not going on her job from today.

" Okay boss, as of now my team is trying our best. We'll soon get back to you with all the information. ", Luca replied.

And with that Abeer cut the call not wasting any minute. After reminding LUCA about his call timing Abeer dialled Scarlett's number and to his surprise she picked up the call in twice ringing.

" Hello Mr. Handsome I was waiting for your call as it's my time to go for my school so I can't talk to you till evening.", Scarlett complained to Abeer.

"Good morning Miss. Beautiful. I was busy with some work that's why did not get the time. And yes, have a great day ahead princess, don't forget to eat your lunch.",Abeer whispered slowly so that Khushi won't listen to their talking.

"Don't act like my nanny now. Always instructing me like a small baby. Do your homework, finish your food. Blah blah blah..", Scarlett complained trying to mimic her nanny's style.

Abeer started laughing wholeheartedly on Scarlett's complaint but the next moment, his laughing voice disappeared in air when he heard the unlocking of Khushi's bedroom door.

"Oh no! I forgot I have locked the door from outside. Now what will I say to her?", Abeer asked to himself realising his mistake.

"Listen princess, I'll call you later. My boss is calling me. Have a great day ahead.", Abeer excused himself and cut the call immediately without waiting for her reply.

" Please Save me almighty! this time.", Abeer requested while gulping in fear.
