Scarlett sudden proposal made Abeer surprised but he composed himself instantly.
"But why do you want me to be your boyfriend? I mean you can look for someone in your school of your age, No?", Abeer asked with a sheepish smile on his face.
" My elder sister has a boyfriend of hers with whom she talks whole night disturbing me in my sleep, hiding from our parents , she won't even play with me as she was always busy with him. And whenever they were together they always tease me and irritates me with their stupid acts. So now I have decided that I'll also make one and then I will tease my sister too with him. But for that I'll need someone who is elder than me and can handle both of them perfectly. And after searching for a whole week, my eyes finally set on you Mr. Handsome. You are perfect for me. So please don't say No. I am begging you. ", Scarlett pleaded with joining her hands together and making a pout with a pleading eyes.
After thinking for a while, Abeer finally thought to reply her.
" How can I say No to someone who is both beautiful and smart at the same time. How can I say No to someone who has beauty with brain.",Abeer replied smirking.
"It means you accepted my proposal, Mr. Handsome ? ", Scarlett asked being surprised.
"Of course it's a Yes, Munchkin.", Abeer smiled embracing Scarlett in a tight hug.
"Aww, thank you so much, so now as we are officially boyfriend and girlfriend then I have a gift for you my bf.", Scarlett declared breaking the hug.
"And what's that?", Abeer asked rasing his brows.
Abeer thought she might have chocolates or cards as gift for him. But he himself got surprised when Scarlett handed him a brand new mobile as his gift.
" Hey! Munchkin it's a real one! From where did you get this? If someone see you like that then you might be in a big trouble.", Abeer asked with worried expression on his face.
"Hey calm down bf. It's not like I have stolen it from my home. I asked my parents to bought two mobile for me. And they get agreed to it.", Scarlett replied in her calm tone.
"What?", Abeer replied his eyes popped out in shock. And they did not ask you for the reason behind it. They gave that even without asking any question to you.
"Well, my parents are really busy in their life. My mother always stay outside of home for kitty parties, social service and what not. And my father who was so engrossed in his business that he forgot he has two daughters waiting for her at home. We did not meet for months sometimes. They don't have time for us but for everyone else. So my sister found a boyfriend for herself who will take care of her and with whom she would share everything.", Scarlett replied sadly.
Abeer understood that her parents were so busy in their life that they forgot about their children's look after totally. They did not even try to find out what's happening in their daughters life. And to compensate this, they gift their children whatever they ask for even without interrogating about it. Now he realised why Scarlett asked him to be his boyfriend so that she would get that love and attention from him. He feel so sad for her because somewhere he was familiar with the pain she was suffering from.
"Hey! Munchkin look at me.", Abeer raised her chin to look at himself and made her look at him.
"Now you don't have to feel alone as you have me in your life. Now smile as I can't see my girlfriend sad otherwise, I might also start crying.", Abeer replied with faking a sad pout on his face.
Scarlett started smiling seeing Abeer's action. And she instantly kissed on his cheek and started blushing.
Abeer started smiling too and embraced her in a tight hug once again, trying to comfort her with his presence.

Khushi was both shocked and tensed at the same time as she has no idea what would she do, and how would she manage the expenses of day to day life plus the treatment expenses of Abeer without any job in her life.
"Calm down Khushi. At least let me complete my sentence first.", The boss replied seeing Khushi's worried face.
"I have a good news for you all as I said earlier but if you guys are not interested then I will not share it with you guys.", The boss replied with a smirking face.
"No.. No Boss.. We want to listen. Please tell.", The other employee said with full curiosity.
"You all have a good chance of earning a new job because the new owner of this place has some future plans with it for which he might need staff members and if you guys make the new boss happy with your work then he will hired you for them and for inspection the new boss would arrive after one week till then you have sufficient time to prepare yourselves for getting the job and who knows by impressing him you might get a better post from your previous work. So what you guys are waiting for start your preparation and get ready. ", The Boss announced with a poker expression on his face and went away.
" Now how will I manage everything without having any job, Christian? ", Khushi whispered with teary eyes.
" Hey! Calm down Khushi, don't get panic it's not like that alien are going to attack and destroy everything here. It is just that our timing is not good right now but this too shall pass, whether its good or bad time never remain the same so stop worrying and look at the positive side of this. May be this is an opportunity for you to get a new job with better salary so that you will manage your day to day expenses easily without any worry. It is not time for you to cry over your fate, instead stand up and face the situation with your hardwork and dedication to grab the opportunity to achieve your goal. ", Christian said, trying to motivate her with his positive words.
And yes it works. Sometimes all we need is a kick. Because without that kick we did not find our own worth and when we get that kick we realise we have that potential to achieve our goal. All we need is something or someone to build that feeling inside us at the right time so that we do not miss that opportunity and here Christian's words were exactly that kick who helped in motivating Khushi to deal with the obstacles in her life.
