Khushi's world had been plunged into darkness, and as she slowly regained consciousness, she became acutely aware of her dire situation.

Her eyes fluttered open to reveal a dimly lit, unfamiliar room, and a sinking feeling settled in her chest as she tried to move, only to realize she was bound tightly to a chair.

Panic surged through Khushi as she took in the constraints that held her captive.

Her hands were secured behind her back, and her ankles were firmly tied to the chair's legs.

A sense of vulnerability and helplessness washed over her, and she struggled against her restraints, but they held fast.

"Where am I ?",She questioned, whispering to herself.

That was when she realized and recalled what happened to her and how she ended up here.

"Anyone there..Please help me. Help me please.",She screamed at the top of her lungs, hoping that someone after hearing her pleading would come to rescue her only to welcome silence again.

"So finally, Khushi, you awoke after sleeping for four hours straight."The voice from the darkness said.

"Who is there? Who are you? I can't see you."Khushi yelled, questioning the mysterious person.

"Have patience darling, you will get to know about me in detail very soon.

As I will tell you everything about myself.",The voice said, laughing in the darkness.

"Why did you bring me here? What do you want from me?"She questioned, her voice trembling in fear.

"You don't have anything to offer me, dear. But your lover has everything which I wanted from him badly, that's why I had to kidnap you.",The voice revealed, making Khushi shocked.

"What ? What do you mean?"She asked, feeling shocked at the unknown person's revelation.

"You heard me right. Now let me tell you a story and everything will get clear to you automatically.

Abeer's grandfather loved his wife so much with whom he has a son too. His name is Rajveer who married Naina.

They both have a son, whose name is Abeer, yes it's your lover.

But after the sudden demise of Abeer's grandmother he decided to remarry to look after his only child Rajveer.

So he remarried to Emma and they have a son too. His name is Logan and his wife's name is Alexia.

They both have a son Neil and daughter Roselet.

Now when comes the decision of who will become the next heir of Abeer's grandfather empire's, he blindly chose Abeer for it.

As he was a mafia king he wanted his grandson to take over his responsibility and as a good boy Abeer did.

But indirectly he snatched Logan and his son's right because they were also equally deserving candidates for that position but Abeer's grandfather gave his everything to ABEER only doing injustice to both of them.

Now I have kidnapped you and in return Abeer will have to sign those papers which I have sent to him in which it is clearly written that he will willingly transfer his power, his rights and his everything on my grandson's name, Neil.",The voice said, coming in the light.

The person was none other than Emma Malhotra, Abeer's grandmother.

"Who are you?"Khushi asked, looking at her face finally.

"I am Abeer's step grandmother. I was behind his accident that day.

But unfortunately you came and saved him at the right time.

You ruined my plan otherwise, I don't have to put in all the effort again to snatch everything from him.",She confessed finally, laughing like a maniac.

"What if you try to kill your grandson for money and power ?", Khushi asked, feeling shocked.

"Not mine, he was my step grandson, girl.",She corrected her, smirking at her.

"I was the mastermind behind all this from the day I became Mrs. Emma Malhotra.

I wanted my husband to give those rights to my son and grandson but even after trying so much when he did not hear me.

I was left with no option than to snatch everything from them.

I was the one behind Abeer's mother's death because my husband treated her as his own daughter and did anything for her.

So I removed her from my path easily by killing her and blamed Abeer's father for it.

What a stupid man he is! His guilt of fighting with his wife started eating him from inside.

In fact, he was not guilty at all. When Abeer's mother left the house in anger after having a fight with her husband, I hired goons to fail the brakes of her car and she met with an accident and died on the spot.

Well I was the one, who created misunderstanding between them and they fought that day, and till now Abeer's father regrets fighting with her and always drowning himself in alcohol because he doesn't want to live in reality.

I used the situation to turn in my favor as I filled Abeer's mind with hatred towards his father stating that he was the reason his mother was no more with us.

"Don't you feel ashamed of yourself ? The person who trusts you so much, loves you so much , you were trying to backstab him only.",Khushi yelled, feeling disgusted at her revelation.

"Why would I? When he was not related to me ? Don't forget he was my step grandson, not real one, not related to my blood.",She said , glaring at her.

"Do you think only blood relations have love between them?"She asked, feeling surprised at her words.

"Ofcourse, I know whenever I need someone, my son will be the first one going to help me, not your Abeer."Emma replied feeling proud of her daughter.

"I feel so sorry for you lady because this time you were totally wrong.

As far as I know Abeer, he is no less than a gem who was ready to sacrifice his own life for his family.",Khushi said defending Abeer.

"Come on! I don't need your lectures. I am just waiting for my men who would come anytime taking Abeer with them.",She said, walking away from there leaving her alone.

"I can't believe Abeer's grandma was behind all this. She tried to kill Abeer.

I have to inform him everything before it's too late but how.",Khushi questioned herself feeling helpless.

She was thinking about something when out of nowhere she saw Logan talking with Emma and her memories of the past flashing in her mind.

"He...What was he doing here ?

He was the same man who kidnapped me from India and took me here when I escaped from my father's home and he was the reason I am here in New York.

If that day the boy did not help me escape from his cage, I would have died after witnessing his torture.

That boy not only helped me but also gave his diamond bracelet to me which I kept with myself securely only to meet him someday and return it safely to him."She thought to herself unaware that Abeer was the boy she was looking for for so many years.

That was when she heard Emma calling Logan as his son and she got another shock realizing it was Abeer's uncle, Logan who kidnapped her from India and took her with him here.

How would I confess it in front of Abeer?"She questioned herself, gasping in disbelief.

"Finally you came, did you bring those papers with you?",Emma asked Abeer, hiding herself in the darkness.

"Yes, as you told me, I have willingly transfer everything to Grandpa's name.",Abeer said, trying to take a sneak peak of the source of voice.

"But before that I want to know who you are and why you did all this?",He added.

"Okay, as now I don't even want to play the game of hide and seek anymore.",Emma said, coming in front of him.

After watching his grandma, Abeer's ground crumbled under his feet.

"Grandma, you? Why?",He asked in disbelief, not believing his own eyes.

"I'm really fed up with this. Now I have to repeat my story again. Recently, I explained it to your lover, Khushi too.",Emma said, feeling irritated.

And started telling him everything from the beginning revealing her dark side which she kept hidden from everyone's eyes.

Abeer's world was shaken after hearing the whole story.

"It means I hated my father for no reason. When he needed my support the most, I left him all alone."Abeer realized feeling guilty for his actions.

They were busy talking when Logan came from behind with his men and surrounded the whole place under him.

Emma was shocked at first when she saw Roselet, Neil, Rajbeer, Alexia and her husband present there.

"Why did you call everyone Logan? Didn't we have to reveal ourselves in front of them ?",She asked feeling confused.

"Oh shut up ! You old lady. I am seriously fed up with you.",Logan yelled at his mother, feeling annoyed.

Soon Alexia joined Logan smirking at her, making Emma shocked at her son's action.

"Tie everyone here, excluding my son and daughter."Alexia ordered her hired goons.

And they followed Alexis's instructions.

"What are you doing son? I am your real mother. How could you do this to me?"Emma asked feeling shocked.

"Mom and you? Don't you feel ashamed calling yourself my mom ?

Every time I faced humiliation from my Dad, I ended up cursing you because you never led me a happy life which you could give to me if you want.

But no, just because of your stupid planning and plotting I had to suffer but not anymore.

Now I decided to end this mess once and forever.

I will kill everyone present here and then live a luxurious life with my family after transferring everything on my name.",Logan revealed, making everyone present there gasp in shock.

Just when he was talking about, Khushi tiptoed from behind realizing herself from the tied ropes and slowly tried to open the rope through which Abeer's hands were tied.

She gestured before to stay silent to everyone and not to make any noise.

Abeer signaled Liam who was waiting outside with his men to attack and with a force they all entered.

Soon the ground turned into a war zone attacking one another where Khushi with Roselet ,Neil and Abeer's grandpa came to one side and everyone else was fighting for their life.

"Didn't I tell you before that one day you will regret your action? I didn't know that day would come so soon.",Khushi taunted Emma who was frozen at her place.

She was genuinely regretting herself. She did everything just for his son and what she got in return was his betrayal.

On the other side she cheated on Abeer with her fake love and he returned love and respect to her more than she deserves.

Logan was going to shoot Abeer at his chest when Emma's eyes landed on him and she wasted no time pushing Abeer from there and taking his place.

The bullets hit her chest and she fell on the floor. Everyone present there gasped in shock.

"Grandpa, why did you push me? ", Abeer came running towards her and asked , taking her head on his lap.

"I want to correct my mistakes, which I committed long years ago.

I am sorry for everything I did to you and your family.

I know I don't deserve your apology son but trust me,I am regretting my decision of betraying you.

If you can, please forgive me, my son."She apologized and closed her eyes forever.

Logan was going to shoot again when Damian's men came from behind and aimed him with his gun.

"Abeer are you alright ?",Khushi asked, running in his direction.

"Yes, I am. ",He said, holding her hands.

"Abeer, you know it was your uncle behind my kidnapping.

He was the one who kidnapped me from India and took me here.",Khushi said, explaining everything.

"Khushi, that person was me who saved you ten years ago. It was my Mom's bracelet that I gave to you at that time.",He confessed, taking out the bracelet from his pocket.

Khushi could not believe her eyes.

Their love story was already decided by destiny.

"Abeer bro, I am sorry. I was also your culprit.",Neil came forward asking for his apology.

Neil told everything to Abeer, how his parents misled him every time, turning him against Abeer and using him as his puppet.

Abeer finally forgave him and Logan and Alexia had to face everyone's hatred including their own children.

Abeer made sure that they got their punishment for playing with so many lives and ordered Liam to torture them in so many ways that even their soul regrets of their action.

With that Damian handed over Scarlett's responsibility to Neil, promising that every weekend they spent time together.

Abeer's grandfather tried to apologize on his wife's behalf but Abeer hugged him in between consoling him.

Khushi went towards Rajbeer, Abeer's father who was standing at the corner and told him everything, including that he was not the reason behind his wife's death.

"Abeer it's time for you to apologize to someone else too.",Khushi said from behind grabbing his attention.

She held his hand and made his way together with her towards his father and gestured to him to apologize.

Abeer hesitated a little bit when his father came in front of him and hugged him tightly like his life was dependent on that hug only.

Abeer started crying in his father's arms and apologized for his mistake to which his father forgave him, promising him that he will be there for him whenever he needs him.

Everything settled in its place at the end and finally everyone was happy.

"Khushi, I am sorry. I realized I can't force you to love me back so I decided to release you from my cage."Abeer confessed, not meeting her gaze.

He waited for her reply but when nothing came in response he looked at her who was glaring back at him.

"What? ",He asked, unable to read her expressions.

She closed the distance between them and for the first time she herself kissed him, making him shocked.

"Remember I said to you the day I will kiss you, I will accept your love.

So that's my answer my Mafia king Abeer, I want to spend my whole life with you only."Khushi confessed, breaking the kiss.

Everyone present there started hooting and Abeer was on cloud nine watching his love accepting his proposal finally.
