Chapter 16: Chapter 16

Khushi was sleeping peacefully in the balcony. Her body covered with the blanket perfectly.

But wait a minute last night after that kiss incident Khushi did not get the courage to face Abeer so she decided to sleep in the balcony itself. Shivering in the cold and turning and tossing in the small couch she did not realise when she dozed off.

When the golden sun rays fell on her face her beautiful white skin glows up making disturbance in her peaceful sleep.

She slowly opened her eyes to realise her surrounding and soon remembered everything that happened last night making her fall asleep here in the balcony.

"I did not sleep with this blanket over me then how it came here?", Khushi asked herself being confused.

"Christian was drunk last night so he might be sleeping that means it was Abeer who put this blanket on me. ", Khushi stated to herself after thinking for a while.

She came inside only to see Abeer curling in his sleeping position like a small baby. Even in sleep, he was looking handsome.

" I think I should not disturb him right now by waking him up instead I should go and get ready and then come here with a hot cup of coffee to disturb his sleep. He needs rest after all.", Khushi stated to herself and left for her bedroom with small baby steps so that Abeer won't get up listening some noise.

When she entered her bedroom she found Christian was sleeping comfortably on the bed.

" I think I have to make a lemonade too with two cups of coffee. Christian might need it for his last night's hangover.", Khushi thought in her mind remembering what a mess Christian created being over drunk last night.

She quickly get her business done and then took a quick shower to get ready for her job. She chose a light pink colour top and a blue jeans that suits her body perfectly. With lip gloss on her lips and kohl in her hazel eyes, she made a pony tail of her hair and got ready within few minutes.

Unlike other girls, she was not used to heavy makeup to show her beauty. Instead of that she looks beautiful in her simplicity.

Both boys were sleeping peacefully and enjoying their dreams when Khushi made breakfast for them along with two cups of coffee and a lemonade.

"It's time for Abeer's medicines too. I should wake him up now.", Khushi stated while looking at the wall clock.

"But wait a minute how would I face him now? I don't know why after last night I could not get the courage to face him off. What should I say while waking him up? Oh God! Why these awkward situations happened with me only?", Khushi was busy talking with her God making different expressions every time.

" Umm.. Good morning Khushi. Did I disturb you? ", Abeer said from behind and khushi turned her face listening to his voice.

"You woke up yourself! By the way Very Good morning to you too. Why did you think that you disturbed me?", She asked hesitantly.

"Ohh! When I came here I saw you were busy pleading with God so I thought may be I disturb your conversation with him.", Abeer explained with a slight smile on his face.

"Oh! That means he saw me while I was complaining everything to God. Oh God what will he think of myself? It's so embarrassing for me.", Khushi thought in her mind.

"Umm.. It's nothing like that infact your coffee is ready. Please freshen up then we will have it together.", Khushi stated, trying to move on from this awkward situation.

"Yeah sure.. Give me ten minutes. I will be back.", Abeer grinned and left from there.

"Why was he smiling like that? Huhh.. Is he purposely laughing on me?", KHUSHI asked herself being confused.

Abeer was eating his breakfast silently observing Khushi who was busy collecting her stuffs for going to her job.

"I think you should also eat your breakfast now otherwise you will get late.", Abeer told Khushi.

"Yeah.. Yeah.. I will do it with Christian when he would wake up.", Khushi replied while checking something in her purse.

"Why would you do your breakfast with Christian? What is the problem if you would do it with me?", Abeer asked while crunching his sandwich and then only realised what he said a while ago eating his breakfast.

He slowly looked towards Khushi's side and found her staring his face blankly. Like she was surprised to see Abeer's reaction like that.

" Umm.. You are getting late, no? So I thought why to waste your precious time like this", Abeer asked more like stated.

"After eating your breakfast do not forget to take your medicines.", Khushi said and leave the place with lemonade in her hand.

"Did I say something wrong? Why did she leave like this?", Abeer asked himself. And why did I react like that?

"Why I felt my chest heating up in anger when she mentioned that she would do her breakfast with Christian? I do not know what's wrong with me?"
