Scarlett was playing in the garden while Damian and Stella were keeping an eye on her from a distance,giving her space to be comfortable with her friends.

Stella and Damian were discussing their next move with each other when Scarlett's ball rolled towards the main road.

She ran towards the ball with full speed in order to hold it, not realizing that a car in full speed was coming in her direction.

The car was about to hit her, when Neil came there scooping her into her arms and they both fell on the other side of the road, while Neil put her above his chest so that she won't get hurt but his back was badly injured due to falling.

Everyone came there specially Damian and Stella hearing the noise.

When they saw Scarlett safe, then only Damian and Stella released their breath which they were holding in fear of losing her for forever.

"Thank you..Thank you so much for saving my child."Damian said, taking Scarlett in his arms and checking if she had any injuries or not.

He did not watch the person's face who saved Scarlett but when his eyes fell on Neil who was badly injured he got stunned.

He did not expect him in the first place. As he was the brother of that person who ruined Scarlett's mother's life.

"Damian, we need to take him to the hospital. He needs treatment. After all it was because of him only that our Scarlett is between us safe and sound.",Stella said, looking at his condition.

Scarlett was crying badly in fear and hugged Damian tightly.

"Hmm."He hummed in response, calling the driver.

"Doctor, how is he now?",Damian asked when the doctor came out of his cabin.

"He is fine now. I have given him injections but he needs bed rest completely to recover from his injuries soon.

Right now he is unconscious but you can meet him once he gets back his consciousness.",The doctor informed walking away from there.

"Isn't it strange Stella, his brother who was the real father of Scarlett, left her even before her birth.

And today his brother saved our princess's life.

One ruined my sister's life and the other saved my sister's daughter's life.",He said, sighing.

"Maybe God was trying to cross our path to confront everything now, Damian.",Stella said, looking at him.

"What do you mean by that?",Damian asked Stella, feeling confused.

"Did you notice one thing when we were taking him to the hospital ?",Stella asked, to which Damian shook his head.

"Did you notice the similarity between Neil and Scarlett's face? They have the same mole on their right cheek which also could be their birthmark.

I have seen Abeer but he was nowhere similar to our Scarlett, Damian.

Are you sure that Scarlett's father was Abeer not Neil?

Did you watch him with Amelia anywhere ?",She asked, arching her eyebrows.

"What do you mean by that Stella? Why would my sister lie to me mentioning Abeer's name? ",He asked, feeling confused.

"But I hadn't seen him with her in any of her pictures. I only heard his name from her mouth.",He added.

"Don't worry. I have sent Scarlett and Neil's blood sample for DNA testing.

"Ma'am the doctor is calling you. Your reports of the DNA test have come out.",The nurse informed Stella.

"Come, Damian. It's time to clear our confusion."She said, walking with him towards the doctor's cabin.

"The DNA samples matched Stella. Indeed they shared the relationship of father and daughter.",The doctor informed, confirming the news.

Damian felt like his ground crumbled under his feet hearing the news.

For so many days, he was living in an illusion. He was taking a false revenge when the real culprit was in front of his eyes every time.

"Your real culprit is Neil, Damian not Abeer. Now it's time to ask him why he did all this?",Stella asked, putting her hands on his shoulders.

"I have answers to all your questions, come with me.",The voice from behind grabbed Damian and Stella's attention towards them.

They both looked at the exit in shock and looked at each other with confusion.

"Come with me. I will tell you why Neil bro did all this.",Roselet, Neil's sister said, taking them towards Neil's room.

The moment they entered his room, which no one was allowed to enter they gasped in shock.

Each and every corner of the room was full of Amelia's picture hanging on it.

There was no place left where her picture could not be seen.

"You have every right to know what exactly happened with your sister.",Roselet said, looking at both of them.

"But who are you and how did you know everything ?",They asked in unison.

"I am Neil's little sister and Amelia's best friend. We both were studying together when Neil bro came to meet me in my campus and where his eyes landed on your sister and my best friend Amelia.

He introduced himself as Abeer because at that time he went there for an illegal deal introducing himself as Abeer because that time Abeer bro was injured so he sent him as his replacement.

He thought it was just an Infatuation towards her which will get over when he spends one night with her as my brother was a playboy nature at that time.

But Amelia was not ready for that until her marriage so to win her heart he started spending time with her and he did not realize that by spending time with her he was getting addicted to her.

Amelia did not share about her relationship even with me.

He promised her of marriage and when Amelia fell in his trap he finally spent one night with her and returned back to his own city, cheating on her.

She was waiting for him to return to her one day but that day never came as you came there in between and took her with you forever to some unknown place no one knew.

Soon after getting separated from her Neil bro realized that it was not his obsession for her, he was really madly in love with her but it was too late for her. All he could do was regret as he never got to know where she disappeared all of a while.

Now I realize why you came there all of a sudden, you might have known about her condition and decided to take her with you so that you can help her to get out of this state.

Neil was still in her search. Everyday his morning starts with her memories and ends with her thoughts.

He could not sleep at night having anxiety attacks because her thoughts haunted him at night especially when he was all alone and no one was with him.

I came to know about all this a few years back when I saw him struggling with himself and the pain he buried deep inside his chest.

Noone has seen this side of him in my family because he never shared his pain to anyone.

But recently I saw a change in his behavior , his happiness came back just like he used to be with Amelia.

And today when I got to know about his accident and came to the hospital I eavesdropped on your conversation and realized the reason behind his happiness.

It was because finally he found Amelia and his daughter back."Roselet said smiling at them.

"Where is Amelia? How is she? She must be missing my brother, No?",she asked feeling excited.

"She is no more with us.",Damian revealed, closing his eyes and a lone tear escaped his eyes.

"What?"She asked, gasping in shock.

"Yes, I took her with me that time when I came to know that she was pregnant.

She only mentioned his name to me but never shared his picture or anything else.

She was fighting depression that time.

Her miseries, her pain did not let me breathe even properly. I was dying from inside watching her condition getting worse day by day.

So I decided to abort her child, but when she came to know about that she protested against my decision and announced that she will give birth to her child because one day Abeer will come to her and she will surprise him with his baby.

During her delivery her condition worsened and she died after giving birth to Scarlett.

After that I decided to take my revenge on Abeer but I was so wrong all these days.

It was Neil who ruined my sister's life not Abeer.", Damian said, clenching his jaws.

"Damian, calm down. Stop playing this revenge game now. You need to think about this game played by Fate with all of us.", Stella said, holding his hand in hers.

"What do you mean Stella?"He asked, looking at her in disbelief.

"Didn't you find your answer's question in your reply ?

It was your sister's last wish to surprise Neil with his baby.

How could you not fulfill her last wish, Damian?

Do you think her soul in heaven rests in peace after finding out what his brother did to her love, Neil?",She questioned, shaking Damian's mind from inside.

He never thought in this way which Stella showed him today.

"But how could I forgive him, Stella? He was the reason my sister was no longer with me.",He stated, finding himself in a dilemma.

"No, Damian, he was not. It was all plans of destiny that brought Amelia and Neil together.

Though he was a playboy, he succeeded in winning your sister's heart.

That's why she willingly did everything that Neil wished.

She had fallen in love with him that's why she waited for his return till her last breath.

As much as she suffered with the pain of his separation.

He suffered with the same pain every day in her absence too.

Can't you see, even he ended up falling in love with your sister, Damian ?

He waited for her to return all his life and is still waiting for the day when she comes herself, unaware that his wish can't be fulfilled now.",Stella said, realizing Damian her point of view.

Now it depends on you, whether you will choose revenge or peace.",Stella said, walking away from there.

After several hours, Neil finally gained consciousness and slowly opened his eyes, trying to scan his surroundings.

His heart was aching badly and he could not move his one hand due to injuries.

"Daddy,"Scarlett's face came into view as soon as his blurred vision cleared.

"Scarlett, my princess."Neil smiled, not believing his eyes that she was with him in real life.

He tried to hug her but could not due to his hand injury so he gestured her to come near him.

She slowly moved towards him and kissed his cheeks.

"Daddy, please get well soon. I want to play with you. I have to tell you so many stories.",She requested, pouting her lips.

"Yes, Princess. Your wish is my command. I will soon get fit and fine and then play with you.",He said, feeling emotional.

"But how did you come here? And who told you that I am your daddy?"He asked feeling confused.

She pointed her fingers towards the exit and his eyes landed in her direction where Damian was standing with Roselet.

"Stella, please take Scarlett with you. I need to talk with Neil for some time."Damian ordered and Stella left with Scarlett from there.

Neil was trying to sit when Damian stopped him in between and helped him to get a comfortable position.

"You might be thinking who I am and how Scarlett is related to me?

I am here to clear all your confusion.

Listen to me.",Damian said and started telling him the whole story from the beginning .

When he ended, Roselet, Neil and even Damian were in tears, feeling helpless against God's will.

"I won't take my revenge on you, Neil because Destiny has already punished you by taking Amelia away from you for forever.

If you want to be with her it would not be possible in this birth for you.

Since you had already suffered enough, I want you to take another responsibility on your shoulder.

Amelia and your daughter, Scarlett.

I will fulfill all her demands and wishes. I will never make her feel her mother's absence in her life even if I can't replace Amelia but I will try to become the best father for her.

Now she is the only reason I want to live this life because after hearing that Amelia left me all alone, there is no reason for me to live.

I ended my life too thinking there is no reason for my living now.

Scarlett is my lifeline, my heartbeat, my breath which made my life possible again.

I will fulfill all my duties for my daughter. So that when I will meet Amelia after life, I won't feel ashamed to show my face.

Roselet, who was watching everything from a distance, was crying badly.

But it was tears of happiness as after so many years finally Neil got happiness in his life, in his daughter's form.
