"Why are you here, disturbing me again?"Abeer asked, getting irritated.
"Boss, it's urgent. The leader of our enemy gang wants to talk to you on call. Please come outside and have a talk with them otherwise situations will get worse.",Liam whispered so that Khushi could not hear their conversation.
"Hmm..okay. I am coming.",Abeer said and closed the door.
"Khushi, please make yourself comfortable here. I have some urgent work to do so I'll be back after a few hours. If you need anything, call Uncle Aiden, he will help you.",Abeer said, walking towards her.
"Hmm. But before going, let me apply bandages on your wound."Khushi requested.
"Okay."Abeer smiled and forwarded his hand in her direction.
After applying the bandage Abeer left Khushi alone there.
Khushi moved towards Abeer's bedroom to complete her unfinished work where she met Uncle Aiden again.
"Aah! I have to finish my pending work.",Khushi stated her reason for coming back smiling at him.
"If you don't mind my child, can you tell me how you are related to him?",Aiden asked, sitting opposite to her.
"Umm. I am his personal assistant.",Khushi responded.
"Strange. You know in my whole life, I had never seen him taking someone here from his friends , family or anyone.
You are the first one to witness his pent house through your eyes.", Aiden revealed.
"What ? I mean why was he such a mysterious person?"Khushi asked, getting surprised at his words.
"Actually from his childhood, he suffered a lot so he chose isolation from everyone. He never allowed anyone to come close to him.
That was also one of the reasons he is still single.",Aiden smiled at her.
"But why did he choose isolation when he has his own family ?", Khushi asked, taking interest in the topic.
"I guess I was not the person to whom you should ask this question.Find your answer by asking this question to the person who will be answerable to this.", Aiden muttered.
"Hmm. But one query please. If he loves her mother so much, then why didn't he live with her?"Khushi asked, getting confused .
"Because she was no longer with us. He loved her the most. But fate had decided something else for him.
She left him, when he needed her the most.",Aiden revealed , getting emotional.
"Oh! I am sorry.",Khushi said,getting shocked at his revelation.
"I will come back with something for you to eat. You must be hungry. You should start your work now.",Aiden stood from his seat and left her alone in the room.
"Isn't it strange we both craved for our family's love even when we have a family ?"Khushi asked herself while watching his mother's photo frame hanging on the wall.
"The feelings he showed for me, was that real? I mean wasn't it infatuation? Maybe he was attracted to me because I cared for him when he met with an accident."Khushi doubted his intentions for her.
"I should not let him so close to me. Because maybe it was just an infatuation for him but as a consequence I will end up hurting myself.''Khushi decided in her mind.
She started working again on her pending files which she had to complete before morning.

"Boss, Abeer has shifted his office to one of his hotels from where he is going to handle all his business."One of Damian's men informed him.
"Oh! I see. Any specific reason for his sudden shifting?",Damian asked, taking interest.
"I am still keeping an eye on him for updating you further. Apart from it, he hired a personal secretary for him too which he never did before."The man revealed.
"Give me all the information related to his new secretary and Don't forget to update me further.",Damian said and hung up the call.
"So, Mr. Abeer Malhotra started taking interest in girls again after ruining my sister's life. But don't you worry, until I am alive I will not let any girl enter your life Abeer. You have to pay for your sins.",Damian yelled, throwing the paper weight on the mirror shattering it into pieces.
"Don't worry Amelia, your brother will take your revenge from him on your behalf. I can't let him live a happy and peaceful life with someone else after destroying your life.",Damian promised, touching his sister's pic through his fingers.

"Why don't we transfer all the property on your name Logan without letting anyone know ?",Alexia asked curiously.
"That's so stupid of you Mom. What do you think it's so easy to transfer Grandpa's property and business on our name ?"Neil asked, interrupting her in between the discussion.
"But we can at least have a try. What if this idea works? We don't have to be scared every time from Abeer that when he gets to know about our intentions of coming back here, he will throw us out of this villa."Alexia revealed her fear.
"I have a better plan than this, Mom. What if Grandpa himself transfers everything to us on his own wish, then we will not have to put in so much effort?",Neil smirked.
"How is that possible son?",Logan asked, taking interest.
"Before proceeding with our plan we have to look for grandma because if she gets to know what we are planning behind her back she will definitely prove a barrier in our journey to reach the destination."Neil informed.
"I am seriously fed up with this family where everyone is busy poking their nose in other's matters. I mean can't they peacefully let anyone live their life?
Why are you always throwing so many tantrums like your mother who is great at showing her bossy attitude around us?",Alexia asked, getting frustrated.
"Alexia, mind your tongue before speaking. Don't forget if we are standing here and have shelter to live, that's all because of her.
If she did not allow us back here there was no chance to get entry in this villa again."Logan scolded her, fuming in anger.
