Chapter 134: Chapter 134

"If we stay here for long, then anyone could see us together and start doubting us. I think I should leave with him.", Khushi thought to herself in her mind.

Abeer was still staring at her , to know about her answer.

"I will go with you then.", Khushi said, nodding her head.

Abeer smiled and gestured to her to come along with him and she followed him behind taking her bag.

While walking together towards the parking area, Khushi was silent all along the way.

"Don't worry you will get enough time to complete your work by night and if you need my help then I can help you too.",Abeer offered , breaking the silence between them.

"Hmm.", Khushi hummed in response.

While getting inside the car, Khushi opened the door for him, making him shocked at her gesture.

The driver started the car and together they made their way towards the penthouse.

When the driver stopped driving Khushi realized they had reached their destination which came after driving for two hours straight.

"Sir, we have reached home."The driver informed Abeer by opening the car door.

He came out and gestured to Khushi to come outside too.

The moment Khushi saw the penthouse , no word escaped from her mouth in shock.

She was mesmerized by the beauty of the pent house which was designed so well that the person who has its first glimpse gets hypnotized by its beauty.

Abeer held Khushi's hand to make her come inside as she was still standing there lost in her own world of thoughts.

When they came inside, Khushi felt like she was dreaming as it was something unexpected for her.

The penthouse was a haven of luxury and sophistication.

The living room was adorned with plush, designer furnishings that exuded elegance and comfort.

Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the cityscape like a living work of art, providing an ever-changing backdrop for the fortunate residents.

"Let me give you a ride on my terrace.",Abeer said, holding her hands.

The rooftop terrace, a sprawling outdoor space that felt like a private oasis amidst the urban jungle.

Lush greenery and meticulously landscaped gardens provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle below.

An infinity pool seemed to merge seamlessly with the skyline, to take a refreshing dip while gazing at the horizon.

Comfortable lounges and al fresco dining areas were perfect for entertaining guests under the open sky.

"How is it?",Abeer asked, turning himself towards her.

Khushi's mouth was wide open after witnessing the view in front of her.

"Is this all yours?",Khushi asked the very first question, breaking her silence.

"Yeah...Why ? What happened ? Don't you like it?",Abeer asked hesitantly.

"No..Actually it is really beautiful just like they show in the movie. You lived at such a luxurious place then how did you manage to stay with me at such a small apartment?",Khushi asked, looking at the floor, not meeting his gaze.

Abeer realized she was feeling inferior after witnessing his luxury so he came forward and cupped her face in his hand.

"There was a miracle when I was with you. In your presence you never let me feel that I am alone there even if it was not as spacious a place as mine.

And you won't believe after I came back here, I started missing your presence around me badly.

This place looks like a void to me now which can be fulfilled only after you come here to accompany me again.",Abeer confessed , looking into her eyes.

"I have work to do. I have to go."Khushi tried to excuse herself to escape the situation when suddenly Abeer caught her wrist and stopped her on her way to go back.

"You have the whole night to finish your work. Please spend some time with me here. I promise I will not disturb you after that."Abeer pouted, with pleading eyes to which she could not deny.

"Okay."She agreed, making him smile.

They both went towards the bench to sit there and enjoy the beauty of the terrace.

But then, Nature had other plans in store and the weather suddenly shifted.

Dark, ominous clouds began to gather on the horizon.

The atmosphere grew heavy with anticipation, and an uneasy stillness settled over the surroundings.

It was as though the world itself was holding its breath.

The distant rumble of thunder, a deep and foreboding growl that seemed to reverberate through the very earth.

Khushi jumped from her seat to hide herself in Abeer's chest and hugged him tightly as her whole life depended on that hug.

Abeer was first shocked but then chuckled witnessing her tigress who became a terrified rat hearing those thunderstorms.

"Please let's go. These sounds are so scary."Khushi requested, still hiding herself inside him.

"Sure. Don't worry we will go. Come with me."Abeer said, realizing the situation.

The moment they both stood up cold raindrops, like crystal tears from the sky, fell in torrents.

The transformation was swift and dramatic.

A refreshing breeze, now chilled to the bone, swept through the streets, sending leaves swirling in chaotic dances.

Khushi halted in her way, making Abeer turn to face her.

"What happened ?", Abeer asked confusingly .

"I want to dance in the rain.", Khushi requested slowly.

"But you will catch a cold.",Abeer said worriedly.

"No worries I will manage. Let me, please."Khushi pleaded and Abeer could not deny seeing her pleading face.

"Okay."He agreed, making her face bright in happiness.

As the rain continued to pour down, Khushi stood at the terrace floor, her face upturned to the heavens.

Her clothes clung to her body, drenched from the downpour, and her hair hung in wet tendrils around her face.

But none of that seemed to matter to her at that moment. The joy of the unexpected rain shower had ignited a spark within her.

With a playful twirl, Khushi began to dance. Her movements were graceful and fluid, like a dancer in a mesmerizing performance.

She spun and leaped with carefree abandon, her laughter mingling with the rhythmic patter of raindrops.

Abeer couldn't take his eyes off Khushi.

He watched her with a fond smile, his heart filled with love and admiration.

Her uninhibited dance in the rain was a reflection of her free spirit, and it was a sight that took his breath away.

He marveled at her ability to find joy in the simplest of moments, and he was grateful to be a witness to her unbridled happiness.

When Khushi's eyes landed on him, she invited him to join there too and Abeer could not resist her anymore as he wanted to cherish those moments with her.

Unable to resist any longer, Abeer stepped out and joined Khushi in the rain.

He took her hand, and together, they danced beneath the stormy sky.

Their laughter harmonized as they moved together, their hearts connected in a moment of pure, unadulterated joy.

In that rainy embrace, they found a deeper connection.

Even though the clothes clung to her body like her second skin, Abeer did not move his eyes from her face.

He was so lost in her eyes that he just wanted to sink in them forever.

It was after a moment Khushi realized that her clothes were totally wet and her body parts were in full display due to this.

She hid her chest with both her hands in embarrassment removing her gaze from him.

Abeer realized her uncomfortableness so he immediately removed his coat and put it on her.

"Thank you."Khushi said, still feeling awkward.

"No need. I can't let anyone see what belongs to only me."Abeer whispered, coming close to her ears.

Khushi's heart raced, and she could feel her cheeks flushing as she realized just how near Abeer was to her.

She couldn't help but feel a flutter of nervousness deep within her.

His gaze, warm and tender, was locked onto her, and it felt as though he could see straight through to her soul.

Khushi's breath caught in her throat as Abeer's hand brushed against hers, sending a jolt of electricity through her.

She tried to find words to break the silence that had settled between them, but her voice failed her.

Instead, she looked into Abeer's eyes, finding a mix of affection and understanding that only added to her nervousness.

"Shhh! Don't say anything. Let me enjoy watching my moon dancing in the rain."Abeer said putting his fingers on her lips when she was about to say something.

"He addressed me as his moon?"Khushi asked herself in her heart, which was pounding so fast that anyone could hear it clearly.
