Hearing Alex speak in his surly voice makes Helena even more upset. She knows Alex very well. Alex is someone who speaks firmly and sometimes seems cold and rude. His voice always sounded straightforward, and he never showed a weak face like this. And when Alex was so weak on Ruby it upset Helena so much that she could see how much Alex loved Ruby.
“ Yes, she was. Now I’m leaving, so I don’t have to see your face. Being weak or stupid is up to you, but you better not waste time chasing people who don’t love you. It’s not going to work, I’m also thinking of giving up.” Helena said then left in a move of annoyance.
Now it’s just Ruby and Alex in the classroom. A moment of silence filled the atmosphere. Ruby fell silent and Alex also ran out of words to say. Alex can only bow his head with a grim stare and his lost confidence. While Ruby is still standing while looking at Alex, Ruby actually can’t bear to see Alex like that, but this she has to do so that Alex can stop liking her.
“Instead of paying attention to me, you should pay more attention to the people who like you. You should be able to see how much Helena likes you. Finding someone you like is easy, but finding someone who loves you as sincerely and as big as that is hard. You better catch up to her before it’s too late, you’ll regret losing her.” Ruby said and walked out of class.
Alex can only be silent and mute. A punch that kept hitting his heart made it difficult to breathe. Slowly he lost his power and eventually, he fell down on his chair. His clear eyes trembled and tears soaked his eyelids and fell drip by drop wetting his cheeks. This is the first tear he shed for a woman, it’s because Alex likes Ruby so much and now he has to let go. His first love had ended as love applauded.

Helena, who was at the height of her anger, walked down the corridor at a quick pace as if she were rushing. She doesn’t care about the people around her even when someone is walking in front of her, Helena will push them sideways very hard and sometimes she bumps into other people. But she didn’t see those guys and kept walking quickly to her class.
With her breath, Helena sits in front of Natty who happens to be in class. Helena is blinded by her anger and even hits the table so hard that it makes Natty feel a little disturbed. But Natty tries to ignore her and pretends not to hear anything, and she tries to get back to watching the fallen leaves behind the window. But Helena turns her body towards Natty and starts telling her the things that upset her like nothing ever happened between them.
“ I really don’t get it anymore with Alex. He’s usually very rude and annoying. But why is he so weak on that bitch? If only he wasn’t stupid, he shouldn’t have liked the girl but me! Why can’t he just look at me and love me? I can make him happy even I can be anything to make him happy. Why is he so stupid to like people who don’t love him.” Said Helena.
Natty sighed. Her piercing stare even makes Helena feel intimidated. Helena recalls their shattered friendship. Yes, she finally remembered that Natty was still angry with her, but she didn’t hesitate to talk. Helena begins to behave awkwardly, but she still pauses as if she is still thinking how to improve their relationship.
“So why are you saying all this so casually now? Why should I hear your silly rant that’s like talking about yourself?” said Natty with her could stare.
“ What are you saying, isn’t it that we usually talk like this? I used to say all these things to you and you listened to me.” Helena said with a thin smile while holding Natty’s hand to make her friend calmer. But it was of no use at all because Natty immediately pulled out her hand.
“ That wasn’t now. Now there are a lot of things that have changed and you have to get used to it.” Natty said with her flat tone and cold stare.
“Why do you say that? Are you still angry? You don’t usually get angry all this time...” Helena said while putting on her thin smile trying to soften Natty’s upset heart.
“ No, I’m not angry. You also know I can never be mad at you because we’ve been friends for a long time. But I feel disappointed, so disappointed that I don’t think we’re going to be able to go back to the way we used to be.” Natty said and it hit Helena right in the heart.
Natty gets up and is about to leave but then Helena holds her hand. The grip is so tight and able to hold Natty who wants to leave. Natty turns around and looks at Helena who is still sitting while looking at her with a pitiful stare. A deep stare that Natty couldn’t resist.
Natty fell silent, she desperately wanted to leave but somehow her legs were so hard to step on when Helena held her hand. Helena then stands up and slowly grabs Natty’s left hand and now she’s holding both of Natty’s hands. Helena looks into Natty’s eyes despite her trembling eyes, and she looks nervous. But Helena can still get all of Natty’s attention. Natty herself doesn’t understand why she’s so weak on Helena, could it be because her feelings aren’t over yet?
“ If we can’t fix everything that’s happened, then let’s start all over again. Back when we first met.” Helena’s words sound sincere and earnest.
“ Even if we start all over, I can’t guarantee everything will be as it was before. Yes, I may be ready to forgive you and start all over, but forgetting what upsets me is the hardest thing.” Natty said in a heavy voice.
