Chapter 116: You are an old fashioned mom

Her eyes widened " isn't that too close, is there even enough time to make preparations? " She asked.

" You don't need to worry, leave everything to us, " Mrs Harrison said.

Isabella took in a deep breath " okay then, it's fine " her eyes twinkled with a bit of curiosity.

Later that day, she got a call from Jason

" So I heard our families have set a date for our marriage, " he said in satisfaction.

" Yeah…. Hey don't you feel nervous at all " she couldn't help but ask.

" No, not at all. Why do you feel nervous by the way" he asked.

Her expression dulled " I'm just scared anytime things are working out for us, something bad always happens and I don't want this happiness to fade. You don't know how happy I am, coming back into your life " she said with wet eyes.

" Cupcake, are you crying? Come on you don't need to cry, I promise nothing is going to happen to us this time around " he assured and she wiped her tears.

" I need to prepare Lollipop for school early tomorrow, so I will go to bed now. Goodnight hubby, no I think I should join Lollipop sleep tight future hubby " she laughed before hanging up.

The following day, after playing hide and seek with Lollipop she reluctantly prepared for school and they were already running late.

" Lollipop it isn't good to be late on your first day of school, everyone will have a bad impression of you " Isabella said as she smoothed down her daughter's skirt.

" I love it mommy, you know how much I love grabbing everyone's attention " she smirked mischievously.

" Lollipop, where did you get this habit from? As far as I can remember I never said or did any of this when I was your age, " she said as they walked out of the house together.

" You are an old fashioned mom, I'm not talking about the 19's " she responded unceremoniously.

" For your information young lady, I wasn't born in the 19's, I'm still in my youth okay? " Isabella retorted.

Just then Lollipop spotted Jason's car " mommy look over there, " she gesticulated. Isabella chuckled, this new Jason is full of surprises and more romantic to her she thought.

They both walked over to his car and he winded down, " hey cuties get in or you will be late " he said nonchalantly.

They got in and the drive went smoothly, unknowingly to them someone was spying on them. " Lollipop, be good please don't cause any troubles " Isabella pleaded with her.

" Oh my poor sweet naive mom, as long as the kids here don't get into my nerves then we are good " she pecked Jason and Isabella on the lips before walking in with the teacher by her side.

Jason and Bella exchange glances again " okay I agree with you, we need to do something about Lolipop I'm scared she will bully all the kids in this school " Jason said.

" Yep " she nodded hurriedly.

EMPEROR HOTEL

" Emma! Emma! Emma! Liam screamed as he barged into her room.

" Why are you yelling my name like a madman? Emma said, a little peeved.

" Oh please shut up, I'm so angry right now. Do you even know what's going on out there? " He raised his voice.

" What is it? " Emma said as she inspected her nails casually.

" Do you know that Jason and Isabella are back together? Are you aware their wedding is less than two weeks from now? Do you know Jason has accepted Isabella's daughter and they are one happy family. I swear when I saw them I felt like walking over to Jason and strangling his neck at that spot " he said through gritted teeth.

Emma fell silent as her heart sank, her hands began to tremble from hate, jealousy and anger. Her mind drifted back to Zoey. She was the only one who knew the truth or did she tell Jason? She muttered subconsciously.

" Wait, what! you told Zoey everything? " Liam yelled at her as he charged forward.

He clutched her neck tightly with every strength inside of him, Emma eyes widened as she gasped for breath. " How could you be so foolish? ' he said, gripping her neck even tighter. When he realised she was about to pass out and he quickly let go of her " call Zoey immediately and ask her if she's responsible for this " Liam ordered her.

Emma coughed violently and quickly poured a glass of water for herself. She could see that Liam had gone crazier than her. " What the heck was that Liam, you almost killed me you fool try and control your f**king anger do you think I'm glad that they are back together " she said furiously as she brought out her phone to call Zoey.

" Zoey, I warned you countless times without numbers, but I guess you think I'm kidding. Didn't I warn you not to tell Jason about his daughter? Now you just wait and bear your consequences for this " Emma said angrily.

Zoey's expression closed up " Hehehe what nonsense are you spouting Emma, you know I'm not in good terms with Isabella so why will I tell my brother the whole truth and if I truly did like you have said you wouldn't be here speaking now cause my brother would have tracked you down immediately " she said cheekily.

Emma froze and realised Zoey was right if she had truly informed Jason about the truth he would have come for her and Liam a long time ago. " I'm so sorry for speaking to you like this my dear bestie, I'm really sorry don't get mad at me girl, I was just shocked to hear that Jason and Isabella are getting married soon " she suddenly said in a soothing tone.

" Okay whatever. I'll hang up now " Zoey said.

" Don't forget this is a secret you must keep forever " Emma said hastily before hanging up, she turned back to Liam with a proud look on her face " you heard everything for yourself, " she said nonchalantly.

" Damn! Damn! " Liam screamed as he trashed up the room.

" I can't take this news, If I can't have Isabella no one else will. What do we do now? " He asked with anger seething within him.

" I have a plan " Emma suddenly smirked devilishly as an idea popped out of her head.

" Just shut the crap Emma,I will take care of this myself. All your plans over the past three years failed. You are nothing but a failure " he spat at her face and the next thing he got was a slap across his face.

" Be quiet. I agreed I failed but my plan worked out for us and held them apart for three great years. What other choice do you even have but to listen to me you densed idiotic fool " she cursed him callously.

Recognition dawned on Liam " What's your plan? " He said as he came back to his senses.

" Wow the slap works magic on you, I see you are back to your senses thanks to my effective slap " she chuckled delightfully.

" Just tell me the plan already " he said as his expression hardened up.

HARRISON'S MANOR

" How did Emma find out about the wedding? They haven't announced it to the public yet so how did she find out? Is she really keeping an eye on me? Her heart began to thump widely.

" I'm afraid my brother, Bella and Lollipop aren't safe anymore, now that she's aware that they are back together. How do I protect them? If I tell my brother everything that's like putting my life at risk and I don't want to die now. I haven't even gotten the chance to get a boyfriend " she bit her nails nervously.

She had never been put in a difficult situation like this one. " God I'm helpless right now. Protect my brother and his family " she prayed silently.

GOLDEN BRIDGE ROYAL SCHOOL

Immediately Lolipop got to class, she began to examine each one of the boys while rating them by their cuteness.

" Ariana, how about me? " a little boy, Brandon , said excitedly.

She slowly took off her shades stylishly " I give you 5 out of 10 " she said. She suddenly spotted a handsome little boy who was talking to his friends authoritatively. " Hey, who's that handsome chap? " She asked the little girl sitting next to her.

" That is Dylan, the leader of his group, his father is a minister and he is feared by many and no one dares speak to him anyhow even the teachers " the girl said.

Ariana's eyes twinkled, as her mouth curved into a smile " Wow, that's interesting " she said as she put back her shades and got up from her seat pushing all the boys who were crowding her.

She walked towards Dylan and his friends, Blake quickly pulled her back. " Don't go there, he's a bully, Lollipop " he warned her.

Lollipop pursed her lips as she placed her hand on her waist " and who do you think you are to tell me ? Are you my parents? '' She said in her feathery voice before walking away.

Everyone watched her approach Dylan, she stood in front of him " hi I'm Ariana" she extended her hands.

Dylan turned and stared at the little fleshy, cute girl with an adorable smile. He shook hands with her " nice meeting you Ariana, I'm Dylan " he smiled back at her.

All the children gasped from shock. This has never happened before. They all thought Ariana would come back in tears.

Just then the teacher came in and all the children ran back to their seats, Ariana was about to walk away but Dylan quickly held her small chubby hand " sit with me Ariana " he smirked at her.

" Ariana Harrison, I suggest you come sit in the front. It seems you are being distracted on your first day in class, " the teacher said as she plastered a fake smile on her face.

" I'm good over here, teacher, " she said nonchalantly.

" But you aren't listening to what I'm saying and remove those glasses they aren't allowed in school " the teacher tried to stay calm.

" Oh please , I'm listening with my ears and not my eyes, teacher, carry on, " she said as she leaned on her seat and the children burst into laughter.

The teacher tightened her fist the only kid who could talk to her like this is Dylan but now this new kid dared to talk to her like this.

" You look cool in your shades " Dylan whispered into her ear and she smiled.

" Ariana take off your glasses now " the teacher demanded.

" Teacher I'm afraid I can't take them off, just do your thing and let me be " she said stubbornly.
