Alvin might be worried sick about Kate but that doesn't mean he had neglected Quinn.

Patently to her plans, Cynthia has become desperate like she was at the moment.

" Excuse me, is that for Quinn? I'll bring it to him, don't worry" the maid look around confused.

" I don't serve Master Quinn. Mrs. Kang does. Everyone knows that" Cynthia had to force a smile.

" Yes, how can I forget. Where's the way to the kitchen? I want to make some tea for myself" she was directed towards the kitchen and left smiling awkwardly.

" How do I do this before Alvin returns? Damn it" she ended up breaking a plate and hissed crouching to pick it up.

" Everything okay over here Cynthia? She turned around and saw Bianca's apprehensive face.

" Sorry, Mrs. Bianca. It was a mistake. Where can I get a teacup?

" Definitely not in the kitchen. I'm not surprised you don't know. You've never been here. So go to the living room and wait on the maids" she was neither bitter nor irritated but Cynthia could tell she didn't like that about her and that disturbed her.

" Yes, Mrs. Kang. Where's Quinn I haven't seen him all day?

" He's with Carl. I'll advise you to let him be. You know how much he loves computers and Carl is quite good at it" she smiled like a proud mother.

" I can imagine. I'll wait on the maids then" Bianca hummed giving way for her to pass and frowned wondering what she was doing in the kitchen.

Weird.

It was a few minutes later that David realized his passcard wasn't with him then frowned discontented by his carelessness.

At first, he thought he lost it somewhere so he let it go.

Then, after an hour he decided to tap on the security cameras in Kate's room and discovered she wasn't.

An alarm went off immediately but not because of her but something else.

One thing David and Alvin had in common was their capability forgetting what they wanted. They both aspire to achieve it at any cost.

Fleets of cars stopped at David's gateway and the hackers began to hack his security cameras and gateway pass which clicked minutes later opening wide for them to enter.

David's boys looked around themselves confused as they saw them drive in then an explosive was thrown at them.

They attempted to run later than they should have thus it went off which triggered the alarm.

One by one they entered the building. Others were in groups of five or four while a few of them stayed behind.

It was the first time Alvin was engaging in an ambush. He never thought a day like that would come.

" What's going on? Don't tell me she's that strong? Snarled David

" It's not her though we're still looking for her. You know who it is" all life seemed to have drained off his face on the info then picked a loaded gun.

" I want his head. On second thought I want him alive. How many are they?

" They hacked the security system. We've no eyes" that didn't sit too well with him as he bumped him roughly with his hands.

" Have it fixed? I want to see them. Where's Logan when I need him? He grits his teeth storming out of his office to relay the message himself.

" But Sir you have to stay calm"

" Shut the Fuck up. Alvin is the least of my problem right now. We're going hunting for Kate. She couldn't have gone far" Alex nods cocking his gun ready for action.

Gunshots sound were heard wherever David passes but he didn't give a damn then he heard a faint sound from above his head and smiled wryly.

" There you are" he muttered while Alex searched whom he was talking to then his eyes widened when he realized whom and pretended to shoot at someone.

Just to give Alvin a hint.

" What is wrong with you? Whom are you shooting? Nobody knows we are here" he tells him while in a hurry to catch up with her.

" I'm sorry Sir. I'm so sorry" he glared at him with the notion of dealing with him another time.

As expected Alvin heard the gunshot and changed route.

" Sir Alvin, it could be a trick"

" It's not from David but him. He's following orders Colt. Secure the parameter. Don't worry about me. I've been waiting for this for a long time" Colt gave it a rest.

He trusts in him.

He followed the trail with a gun in his hands looking side to side for attackers.

One can never be too careful.

Apparently, David and Alex were out of the building and saw Kate trying to steal a car.

He was impressed and angry at the same time thus bailed her up.

" And where do you think you're going? Her shoulder fell in submission intending to turn around but he didn't let her.

He didn't want to see her seductive eyes.

" Running away, are we? She huffed.

" At least let me turn around. You can't judge a girl for trying" she answered flipping her hair sideways.

" You and I are going on a ride" he whispered to her ears while she rolled her eyes certain she saw herself committing murder in the future.

" I hope it's a bumpy one cause I'm exhausted from crawling through that godforsaken hole" he couldn't help but scoff.

He knew she wasn't scared of him.

" Alex get the car. We're leaving now" Alex ran to get the car trying to stall for more time.

He paced around searching for nothing in particular like a lost puppy.

David was tired of waiting for him thus yelled.

" Where's the fucking car? He asked with the gun still pointed at her.

That little mistake gave him away as Alvin hurried his way.

He'd recognize his voice within miles. His hearing was that good.

" Yes sir. I'm probing for a good and efficient one" Alex lied then heaved a sigh of relief.

Alvin had spotted David from a distance with a gun pointed at Kate thus shot his gun which affected his hands thus he yelped in vain.

" What the Fuck? She grabbed the opportunity to pick the gun then went for a run behind the cars spotting Alvin's silhouette sauntering into view.

She didn't know whether to be thankful or not thus stood still watching as David stood up confidently all ounce of pain gone from his face.

Wow! Bold! She commented.

" What do you think you're doing? You don't have a right to be here. She's my business" Alvin saved his breath for something else and punched him on the jaw which had him falling to the ground then stood up.

" This is how you want it right? No one is leaving here alive" that earned him a kick in the stomach then he hovered over him landing a series of punches in his face thus he retaliated kicking him off while they punched and kicked at each other.

Kate successfully unlocked a car and sat down ready to leave.
