Logan had been tailing Kate for days. So he knew Kate had sued the hospital again thus reported to David.

The transactions of Alvin's ports were in his hands with Genesis's name on it. Though Kate's name wasn't David had his doubts.

" He was Kate's therapist?

" Damnit. Bring her to me' he ordered staring at the folders on the table and sneering.

Unfortunately, Colt got his hands on the flash drive and sent it to Kate who transferred everything to Genesis.

He made a mistake by letting her get too close. Indeed she was close enough to put him out of business.

" Miss Kate, it's Logan. Open up" Kate's eyes furrowed then looked out of the window to find herself stranded.

So, she opened the door while Logan stepped in scrutinizing her surrounding.

The drive seems to have taken longer than she thought then another car sped from nowhere and was driving towards them all of a sudden.

Logan stepped on the brake driving off.

" Slow down Logan. What's your problem? She snapped but he ignored her driving at high acceleration.

The scene reminded her of the past.

The anonymous person followed them then shot their tyre. Logan maneuvered the steering then pressed the pumping button to inflate the tyre when the car got hit.

" What the Fuck" Kate exclaimed as Logan halted to see who their attacker was and sneered as Colt disembarked from the car.

" I'll take her from here" he stated opening the door.

" She's going nowhere with you" Logan stated stepping out of the car standing in front of Colt. The way he towered over him made him streaked but stood up to him nevertheless

" We'll see about that" Colton replied

Kate looked at them and sneered.

" Do you have a death wish Colt?

" I'm following orders. Let's go" Kate brushed past him to the waiting car.

" I'll not ask again Miss Kate. My boss wants to see you"

" Tell him to come himself. I'm done playing his games" she tells him then entered Colt's car who smirked then drove off.

" Shit. That bitch" he cussed gritting his teeth then picked up his ringing phone.

" Yes, Mr . Wilson?

" What's taking you so long? Asked an impatient David who has been waiting for ages.

" We were followed by Colton. Alvin's right-hand man and she followed him. That betrayer" David paused trying to process what he said.

" What do you mean she went with him And how did he know where you were taking her? He asked exasperated.

" She might have called him. Do you believe me now? She's a conniving bitch"

" It's enough. You might have disrespected her. Return to base please" he instructed then hung up.
