Chapter 12: Chapter 12

"Layla, stop running baby, okay? You might stumble." Lavender calls her four-year-old daughter. Thanks to God for the four years of being married to Mars, they were immediately blessed with a little female angel.

"Just the speed of time, right?" it was Gertrude, facing her as she stuffed the bread. They are at the park and having a picnic.

"You're right. Layla is the one who grew up easily."

"And in fairness, another one will follow soon. Maybe you and your mister have the strength, huh?" Gertrude jested that the reference was to her three months of being pregnant with the second offspring.

"The more, the merrier. Do you and Frank have no intention of giving Gabriel a sibling?" Lavender touches the head of a friend's playing son in front of them. It is busy fiddling with its own superhero miniature collections.

"I'm not sure yet, I'll rest first. The pain subsides, bes. It's up to Frank to suffer." It laughed at what was said. Gertrude married a Frenchman who exports jewelry.

"Wait, I'll go to Layla first." she said and went to the child when she saw someone talking to her daughter. She was surprised to see that it was the old man who gave her the potion. She approached him and reached for his hand.

"Hello, grandpa."

"Young lady." the old man smiled at him.

"Grandpa, my daughter…"

"What a beautiful child."

"Sunshine, do you know him?" Mars suddenly appeared on her side.

"Oh yes, he helped me before. About that... You know what it was." She nodded at the old man.

"Grandpa." A mysterious smile first appeared on her lips before continuing what she was about to say. "He’s my husband." The old man even gave a thumbs up to her before he left and disappeared from their sight.

Lavender is still thankful that he met the old man. If not for him, then there's no Mars now in her life.
