Some where in Chong Pang Village, Edward had been held hostage for more than two years, that morning he was to travel to San Fransisco for a business meeting but his vehicle was hijacked on his way, that is how he ended there, as a slave under Cheng's slave band.

Though everything is different, he wasn't going to leave, he is not leaving the girl behind, not now, not even in the future.

He is eager to ask but too scared, they might find out his interest on the girl, so he is going to wait and find her, himself.

Two days later in the nursing room, Lauren got a sudden spike on his heart, which cause the monitor to beep, the nurse had to inform the doctor.

He is waking up again, Larry is scared because he had taken more than twenty-four hours to wake up again, this time, Amelia and Cooper are there including Lisa.

She wants to see her brother, hearing the news that, he had waken up, few days back, she wants to see him, she wants to hold him in her hand.

They all rush to him, to stand closer to him, Daniel take a step back, he felt guilty all of a sudden, what if the first person Lauren want to see is Mandy? What will he say? Will he go back to comatose and never wakes up, if he finds out the girl is no more.

Everything seems idiotic and obscure to him.

He could hear strange sound in his head, like they were humming and shouting in his head, he held his head, to prevent the sound, he screamed.

Doctor Elliot give him more of morphine and wait to see his reaction after some minutes.

Lauren try to prop himself up but he just can't, the nurse who is a lady rush to help him, he pulled from her, he doesn't want her help.

He shakes his head, doctor Elliot held her hand.

It's okay, let me do it. Doctor Elliot went to help him, doctor Wong is also there, he is watching the situation, doctor Elliot propped him up with the help of a pillow, his breath is on Lauren's neck as he does that to him.

Lauren closed his eyes, he try to recollect something but his memory didn't give him that satisfaction.

He called out, Larry look at him, this time, he didn't call Mandy but bonbon, Larry is now a bit confused.

From where he start riding his car with two people beside him, they were going after someone, then he remembers, he was trying to save a girl, he is so desperate to save the girl.

Then he used his car to hit the girl's car, who could that girl be? Why should he risk his life for someone he doesn't know?

Then again, he remembers Mandy, her touch, her smell, her kisses, that lovely smile of hers, he close his eyes, he try to get the complete picture but no, he can't recollect her face, he doesn't fucking remember her name, that same name he had been calling right from the first time he wakes up.

No matter how he do that, he just can't, he panic abit, doctor Elliot look at him. No matter how hard he try to recollect everything, he failed.
