As Dylan get back to the hospital, he could see that not even a doctor is attending to Mandy, she was place on the bed.

Damn! Why is she not treated? Dylan yelled, he grabbed Mandy on his hand, he takes her in his hand, he run with her out of the hospital, she is just like a lifeless object.

Keeping her there, will do no good because no doctor, will care for her, all their attention was on Lauren, they need to save the CEO forgetting that the CEO life will be meaningless, if his heart is not there.

Dylan start driving, as soon as he was able to put her on the back seat, he was driving to another hospital. Streams of tears pour from the side of his eyes, he doesn't want to think of the worse, he can't take it, he had grown to love Mandy as a sibling, losing her is like losing another family member of his.

He just wanted to stop and embrace the fear he is avoiding but he just can't bring himself to accept that Mandy might not survive.

He rush into the hospital with Mandy right in his hand, the doctors and nurses run after him, in a second they were attending to her, placing her on a life supporting machine after making her stable abit.

Dylan could see how the doctor was trying to revive her with the defibrillator machine.

Everyone get read! doctor Darryl said to the nurse, he checked for all her pulses, he connect the defibrillator machine, he clear and then he place the machine on his chest, he do it for three times

Dylan could watch every actions from the glass of the intensive care unit, doctor Darryl finally comes out after hours in there, Dylan rush to him, he could see the worries in Dylan's eyes

He just do not want to tell him outright that Mandy's chances are 20/70

Her face is badly damage, her brain is locking enough oxygen, her chances of survivor are slim, she is still in critical condition, not out of danger. She might...

Don't worry, doctors treat but God cures. He tap on Dylan's shoulder telling him outright that she might not survive, might break his heart, instead, he should just keep having hope and believe that miracles happen.

Dylan walked slowly to the weak Mandy on the bed, his heart is slowly giving him away but oh no, he can't be weak now, Mandy need his strength and that strength he will give her.

For two days, Dylan stay at her bed side, he forget to bathe nor change his wears, his eyes are fixed on the electrocardiogram that had remain same for those days. A single vibration will tell him if she is already dead or going to wake up.

Dylan touch her for the first time, then her face that is cover with bandage.

Dylan tears drop, he can't believe, he could share tears for someone he met few months back.

He promised not to share a single tears for any of his love ones that pass on in death but here, he haven't lost her but he is already mourning her

When Tessa arrives, he decided to go home, he need to change and have a bath, he had promised to return very fast but not knowing, that will be the last time, he will see Mandy on the bed.

Dylan didn't show up before the corpse were taking away, Dylan hurry into the hospital, seeing Tessa sitting on the chair all downcast after she had gain consciousness, he takes a few steps to her.

Where is Mandy? He asked like he doesn't want to because he doesn't want to hear about it.

Have they taking her from the intensive care unit? Is she at the ward now?

Doctor Darryl watch the man as he asked, he look at the doctor.

Dylan eyes dimmed, he has this deep frown, like he already had an idea what had happened but he wasn't expecting that, if she had survived for eight days then she is not supposed to die.

He still couldn't believe that, Mandy is gone, Tessa takes his hand, the two walked out of the hospital, driving to the Edward's cemetery

Dylan and Mandy stand in front of one monument with Mandy's name on it.

What kind of family Mandy must had come from? They just bury a girl without even informing her friends, without even trying to see, if she will wake up or the cause of her death.

Her death was like a big blow to Dylan and Tessa, the two have grown fun of Mandy, she is the siblings they never had.
