Third person*

Lexis opens his eyes slightly and he slowly looks around. He lets out low grunts as he sits up on the bed still looking around. It takes a while for him to realize that he's in his room. How did he get here? He's not even wearing a shirt and is practically half naked. The last thing he remembers is that he collapsed all of a sudden at the library and it was after he took that coffee and....Oh shit.

He suddenly remembers the coffee! Rahila must have tampered with it! He sighs and runs his hands over his face before attempting to move out of the bed but then he pauses when he hears low moans coming from beside him. He tilts his head immediately and his eyes grow wide when he sees Rahila who is sleeping beside him.

"What the hell!" He curses loudly and she opens her eyes with a slight smile on her face. She slowly tilts her head and turn to him before a smile appears on her face.

"Hey babe. Slept well?"

Lexis frowns deeply, "What the f**k happened? Did you spike my coffee?"

She sighs and rests her back against the hover board of the bed. "I only added something interesting, nothing much. Stop talking about that and give me a morning kiss." She pokes her lips to him.

Lexis's eyes travel down her body stopping where she had covered up with the blanket but it's enough to know she's not wearing anything or is probably half naked as well.

"Did you rape me?" He asks with a serious expression that Rahila bursts into a loud laughter.

"Rape you? Are you serious Lexis?" She claps her hands together as she laughs. "Seriously, why would I do that? You were actually the one who raped me last night.” She says with a serious expression.

Lexis makes a disgusted face, "Are you playing? What the f**k are you talking about? You poisoned my drink and you say l raped you? Have you gone insane?”

She shrugs, "Well, you raped me. You probably can’t recall now." She bit her lower lips and crawls on the bed closer to him to lean against his back before wrapping her hands around his neck.

"I actually felt so scared, you know." She says as she feigns a frightened face before she smirks.

Lexus shrugs her off as his anger boils, he's already at the verge of losing it and she's pushing him the more. The fact that he doesn't remember a thing from last night annoys him to the core and there is no way he is going to believe that he went to bed with her. Who on earth says they were raped with excitement all over their face?

He sighs and runs his hand across his face. How could he not have suspected she was up to something? He tries to move away from the bed but she holds him back by the arm.

"Where are you going?" She asks and he turns to glare at her.

"Get the hell off me woman."

"You're not going to take responsibility?"

He furrows his brows in confusion. "Responsibility for what?"

"For raping me.”

He stares at her with his hardened expression. He can see the seriousness written all over her face and it confuses him the more.

"What bullshit are you spouting? I don't have time for this; I have to go wash up."

She frowns, "You forced on yourself on me, Lexis! You can’t just leave.”

His brows knit in confusion, “I don’t recall doing that, Rahila.”

Rahila holds him tighter, "Just agree to get engaged, hmm? I will forget about the fact that you raped me if you just agree to it.”

Lexis sighs and pushes her away from him before standing up. "Do you want to marry me so bad that you have to lie I raped you? Do you want me so bad?”

She sits on her knees, "Yes, and so what? Is it a crime to want you? You're handsome and your personality is exactly my type."

He scoffs in disbelief, "Listen... You're a pretty and all but I won’t get engaged to you not to even say married.”

"You will be mine anyways.” She says suddenly in all confidence as if she didn't hear what he just said. She continues to smile at him as she folds her arms across her chest and he turns to her.

“What exactly have you done to look so confident?”

She grins, “Oh me? I haven’t done much.” She shrugs before she slowly steps out of the bed and reach for a phone which was on the table beside them. Lexis watches her as she walks back to the bed with the phone in her hand. “I have proof right here that you raped me.”

His eyes grow wide as he stares at the phone in her hand. He doesn’t need anyone to tell him that she must have recorded only God knows what in that phone and he bets it wouldn’t be good at all.

“What the hell did you put in my coffee, Rahila?” he demands with his eyes still on the phone.

She smirks, “Oh, now you are interested in what I put in your drink?” She laughs. “Relax, whatever I added won’t kill you. It would only make you feel hot and uncontrollably horny.”

He clenches his fist hard as he realizes what Rahila had done. She had spiked his drink and pretended to be a victim. He doesn’t need to watch whatever she had recorded to know what had happened even though he can’t recall anything.

She looks away from him and starts swiping through the phone but just as she is about to raise her head, Lexis suddenly grabs her by the waist and pulls out the phone from her hand in a flash before he let go of her.

“Give it back!” She yells and tries to take back the phone but Lexis raises his hand far away from her reach.

He starts searching through the phone while she continues to struggle to get it. When he throws a hard glare at her, she stops struggling with him and sits on the bed. Lexis continues searching through the phone until he sees a recent video and he clicks play. He bit his lower lips in anger at what is displaying before him. In the video, Rahila was screaming and struggling with him and it seemed as if he was forcing himself on her. He scoffs in disbelief before he turns to her.

“What the f**k were you planning to do with this video?!” He yells waving the phone at her.

She folds her arms across her chest. “I was obviously planning on using that to blackmail you.”

He scoffs, “Are you serious right now? Are you that desperate?”

She nods, “Yes, I always get what I want you see.”

He shakes his head before he deleted the video. “I am going to keep this phone with me until I am sure that is no other video left.” He says to her.

She smirks, “You can keep the phone if you want…” She suddenly brings out a memory card. “I also have the video here and I already sent it to my other phone as well. As soon as I give it a go, someone is going to post it on media.” She grins.

Lexis stares at her in shock and disbelief, “What?”

Rahila laughs before she stands up. “I have planned this very well, Lexis, I am not stupid. Now, if you don’t want me to send this video to the internet, you are going to get engaged to me and agree to marry me.”

Lexis’s eyes travel to the memory card in her hand and he sighs. “Are you f**king serious right now?”

She nods, “Of course, I don’t look I am joking you know.”

“You are blackmailing me to get engaged to you?”

Rahila smiles, “Yes. I am not forcing you though, you can refuse to comply and I will gladly release this video. It would first get to your father and then it would spread round the board members in your company. And then, it would get to the police.”

Lexis stares at this crazy girl in disbelief. He’s not actually scared of how people would see him if the video going viral, what he’s scared of is the effect it would have on the company if it gets that out that the CEO is a rapist. His father is also another reason why he doesn’t want the video to get out; the money minded man would go crazy if he loses a dime or have his company’s reputation tarnished because of him. He could lose his father’s favor and he wouldn’t want that.

"Will you stop your craziness if I agree to engage you?”

She smiles, “Of course, why not? But you will have to get me engaged in public. I want the world to see that we are officially engaged.”

Lexis shakes his head, “You have completely lost it.” He sighs. “Fine, if that’s what you want.”

Rahila smiles, “Of course but we would have to get married two days after.”

Lexis stares at her in disbelief, “Who’s getting married?”

“It’s us, of course.” Rahila replies still smiling from ear to ear. “After our marriage, I will get rid of the videos.”

Lexis sighs before he starts moving close to her. “There’s no way we are getting married in two days time, Rahila. We would get married after the engagement but it can’t be two days after.”

Rahila frowns deeply, “And why is that? You had better agree to it or I will order for this video to be released and believe me, you won’t want that.” She threatens him.

Lexis grins, “Listen Rahila, I f**king hate when someone tells me what to do and you’re not an exception just because you possess a fake rape video. I am not getting married to you in two days time, that won’t happen.”

“Well then you will leave me no choice but to release the video for everyone to see that the CEO of the Lawal companies is a rapist.”

Lexis sighs, “Listen Rahila, I can accept to be every other thing and even worse but never a rapist. I will never force myself on woman, it’s against my principles and I don’t go against my principles. We can’t get married in two days; it has to be in a few months. Let’s say, three months? That’s how far I can go”

“I am supposed to be the one who call the shots and not you, Lexis. I can’t wait for three months, who knows what you would do within those times?”

“Then I can’t stop you. You can release the video if you like and we can just forget about the engagement and marriage. I can always find my way out of any mess.” He shrugs.

Rahila clenches her fist in anger. She had thought that she has him under her palms but she’s wrong. She fears if she doesn't give in, he might really anull the engagement and marriage.

“You are willing to risk your company’s reputation and face your father’s wrath than marry me?” She asks in disbelief.

“It won’t last forever Rahila, people would talk about it for some time and then they would forget about it. So I will suggest you just cooperate.”

Rahila scoffs in disbelief. She’s supposed to be the one calling the shots and giving him options but the table has turned.

She sighs, “Fine then, the marriage doesn’t have to be now but we must get engaged tomorrow.”

Lexis nods his head before he walks out of the room leaving her alone on the bed. She clenches her jaw hard and throws the pillow lying beside her to the ground in anger.

“What on earth is he?!” he yells in annoyance.
