Episode 24
Riley looked at Lisa all dressed up
And suddenly had a bad feeling
"Where are you going to this evening" Riley asked
"I won't eat dinner today, remember not to keep for me" Lisa said and wore her shoe
"You've not answered me, where exactly are you going to?" She asked sternly
"Going for a dinner appointment" Lisa said as she waved to her before going to the door
"Come back early" Riley's voice sounded behind her
Liam looked up as he saw Lisa entering the private room
Lisa nodded at him and sat down at the opposite
They both looked at each other
"I already ordered a few dish I hope they are according to your preference" Liam said gently as Lisa nodded
"Am not picky" Lisa said as Liam raised an eyebrow
"I remember Riley saying you are really one picky person when it comes to Food" Liam said with a smile in your lips
Lisa couldn't help but curse Riley 20,000 times in her heart
But she said nothing in the surface as she drank the cup of water that she took from the table
"Why did you call me over" Lisa said as she dropped the cup of water
Liam looked at her quietly without saying a word
"I asked you to come out for a dinner" Liam said
"I know very well that the reason isn't dinner for dinner
"Then Miss Smith has to wait until we are done with dinner" Liam said as she nodded not saying anything more
The dishes Liam ordered all came over one by one
Lisa looked at her meal in front of her surprise
In the end most of what he ordered are her favourites
Her lips raised with a pleasant mood
She felt really warm in her heart
Everyone keeps forgetting her best dishes, Even Riley forget it most times
She didn't expect him to know
"How did you know" She raised her eyes and asked
"Just a few times observing you" He said as she nodded and moved her chopsticks
With a tactic understanding
None of them talked and concentrated in eating
Lisa put her hair behind her ear as she ate quietly
Liam raised his head as he looked at her
His eyes couldn't help but soften
When did it start he obviously couldn't remember
They always met in a bad note and each having a bad impression on the other party
At first his heart beats uncontrollably whenever he sees her
He thought is just a normal thing but he realized it only happens when she is there
Whenever he sees her, he has this feeling of excitement
He wanted to make her his own
Tie her to his side so others won't have the opportunity to find her
He wants to pamper her and let her only look at him
He raised his hand a bit to pin a broken hair behind her ear
But he stopped
And brought down his hand
He knows Lisa's temper am afraid he will be beaten down in a matter of minutes
He bent his head and continued eating
After the meal
Lisa wiped the mouth slowly as Liam called the Waiter to carry out the plates
Although they didn't eat it all
Lisa has a small appetite and Liam wasn't really hungry as the only ate half of the food
The waiter came over and carried the remaining part of the dish
Lisa leaned on the seat as she placed her hand on her tummy
Liam paused his lips not saying anything
"What's the matter of you calling me over" She asked
Liam took out a file from behind him and handed it towards her
Lisa raised an eyebrow and looked at the file
She collected it and opened it
"I haven't read the content in it" Liam said as Lisa looked up at him puzzled
"Why?" She asked not understanding why she got this and didn't read it yet
"Because is related to my parents death" Liam said and Lisa's hand that was opened the file stopped
She looked at the file
She shrugged
"No matter what it should be opened or you won't find any breakthrough" She said as she brought out what was inside it
" I hope you don't also regret opening the file" Liam said as Lisa paused again but said nothing
She took out the contents as she read it carefully
She sat down straight as she put away the laziness in her body
Liam looked at her actions but said nothing
Lisa read the file as the hand which held the file was suddenly tightened
But there was no change of expression on her face
Liam looked at her and frowned
He suddenly regretted why he gave it to her
After reading it Lisa threw the file to him and returned the normal laziness
"What did it say" He asked
"Read it yourself" Lisa said with a smirk
Liam looked at her and looked at the file
At the end he picked up the file on the table
And read it quietly
And there was a picture attached to it
Liam picked up the picture and looked at it
His parents with Mr Smith and two other couples
Liam dropped the files
Although the information was too small and couldn't make a breakthrough
It was still better than nothing
He couldn't have thought that Mr. Smith will be a close friend to his parents
If he guess correctly He hasn't seen the other two couples either
"Nothing serious is there, is just that My Dad and your parents with this other two couples were part of a research program 14 years ago
And that's one year before your parents death and if I guess correctly they must have been together in different researches" Lisa said
"I still don't know why my Dad will agree to eat dog food even in pictures" Lisa said as she frowned
Liam chuckled at her words
He knew she was trying to make him feel better
"You can go find out more from him but I won't be able to help you" Lisa said as she picked up her bag
"I came with my car you don't have to drop me off"
She said and left the room
Liam looked at her back and didn't stop her
He knew that she wanted to be alone
