Episode 22
"I don't want to go" Lisa said as she sat on the sofa
"It was ordered by Mr Smith" Riley said
"Am not in a hurry to get married, why is he arranging a blind date" Lisa said nonchalantly as she sat down on continued watching her drama
Riley stood for some time
"Anyway it is your father and daughter's problem it has nothing to do with me" Riley said and threw the file for the blind date on her abd went into her room
"He should go and marry why is he disturbing me so much" Lisa muttered with resentment
She ignored the file and picked up her phone
"Hello Miss Williams, I seem to know what my dad likes"
"Yes, I will send everything to you, thank you
"No, I just feel that he is lonely that why I have to help him and find a partner" Lisa hung up the phone after the call
She should keep him busy for now
She continued watching her drama
But the file kept on crossing her eyes
She threw the remote aside angrily as she picked up the file
She opened it and read the characteristics of the blind date
"Tall, Handsome, Is a powerful business man"
Golden restaurant today by 10am, Private room no 2"
After reading it Lisa sighed angrily
How can this work without a photo of the other party
Lisa checked the time it was already 9:30am
She looked at the television as she reluctantly stood up and walked into her room
She packed her hair without changing her dress
Which she only wears when she is at home
"Am leaving" She sagd as Riley came out
Seeing her dressing she was suddenly speechless
"Are you going for a blind date dressed like this" Riley asked as she wanted to make sure that Lisa was really going for a blind date
"Yes, I won't take time" Lisa said as she turned and left the house
She got into her car as she drove to her destination
Reaching the Golden Restaurant
She got down from the car and at the same time held her membership card
Is a high end restaurant which one can only be allowed in if you have the membership card
"Welcome Miss" The waitress greeted as Lisa nodded
She glanced around before heading to the private room
After she found the room number she opened the door and got in
Without looking at the person opposite her She sat down
Took a bite from the snacks that was placed there before she looked up
"You!!!" She exclaimed
Liam was also surprised seeing her
His grandfather clrd him home just last night and told him that he has to go on a blind date
He could obviously refuse but he didn't want anyone to nag him
Especially if his Grandma finds out that he rejected the blind date meeting
He might hear for a whole year
"Fortunately is you" She said as Liam nodded
He also thinks he is fortunate
"Since is you I will get going, I still have a movie that I've not completed" Lisa said abd stood up
Liam looked at her and knee from her dressing that she didn't take this blind date seriously
Infact she didn't take it as a meeting
Lisa noticed Liam staring at her as she looked down at her dress and looked at Liam who dressed quite formal
She suddenly felt like a villian
"I was in a hurry so I couldn't change immediately" She tried to explain
"Miss Smith don't need to explain" Liam said with a gentle smile on his face
Lisa looked at his smiling face and suddenly felt that
"The smile really brightens one's world"
Lisa shook her head as she realized her abnormal thinking
"I will go first" She said as left the room in a hurry
As she tried to hide her red face
She got into the car as she fanned her hurt face
Her eyes looked past the rearview mirror as she saw Liam walking out of the restaurant
Without any delay she drove the car out the premise
Liam looked at the leaving car for sometime before he retracted his eyes
And walked to his own car
This is probably his shortest blind date ever
Riley raised her eyes as she saw Lisa entering
"Why are you back so early,
The other party did not come??" Riley asked
"The blind date is over" Lisa said as she walked to the refrigerator and a bottle of water
"Is Over?" Riley exclaimed obviously not believing her
Lisa unscrewed the bottle as she drank directly from it
"Can you use a cup" Riley yelled
"What's the difference, is still the same anyway" Lisa said as she sat down on the sofa
Leaving Riley speechless
"I heard Mr Smith threatened you so that you will participate in the graduations presentation" Riley said as Lisa nodded nonchalantly
"I can just go there and embarrass the Smith's enterprises" Lisa said obviously not worried of what is coming
Riley shook her head
She has always known that Lisa doesn't follow common sense
"Is still day time, what should I do" Lisa asked herself
Riley looked at her and ignored her questions
She picked up her car keys and left the house
She drove over to the Smith's estate
She got down as she handed the car keys to the Security to help her park the car
She got into the house
No one was around including the house keeper
Lisa went up to her room
The room still had the pink design as she left it
She lay down on the bed as she closed her eyes slightly
She really missed the days when she was just a pure 5 years old girl
When she was prevented from using her ability no matter what
She stood up from the bed and bent down as she pulled out a box from under the Bed
It was a pink box that she always hid
She opened the box as she brought out her dolls one after the other
Nobody would have thought that such a cold and indifferent person like Lisa has such a soft side
A picture in the box appeared in front of her
Lisa picked up the picture
She knew she never kept this here
So how did it get here
She looked at the picture
There were two elderly carrying a Child
But the head of the two elderly persons were torn off
She stared at it for sometime
She shrugged
She might have picked it up somewhere when she was little
With that thinking she threw it into the bin
She packed up the box and returned it to where she brought it out from
She came out if the room
She made to leave but she couldn't help wanting to enter her father's study
She turned around and entered the study
She looked around as she saw a book from the floor
She picked it up
Dad is not this kind of careless person that will leave everything untidy
She looked at the book she held
It looked strange and it was written with red but it was not a marker
She made to open the book
