At the entrance of Serizawa Hotel.

I nervously stared at the entrance door of the ever-famous Serizawa Hotel. My guards obediently followed me inside, until we reached the hotel lobby. They were looking around the place in an alert manner.

I stopped walking and turned around to face them.

"You don't need to accompany me upstairs. I can take care of myself." I instructed them.

My personal bodyguards shook their heads.

"I don't think that's possible, Miss Seira. We're just following your father's orders." one of them answered in a serious tone.

"Look, are you really thinking that something bad's going to happen to me inside this hotel?" I suddenly snapped at them.

"Anything can happen at any place, Miss Seira." one of the guards tried to reason out.

"If I may just ask, Miss Seira... What are you going to do here?" probed the other guard.

"To see my boyfriend, what else?" I answered in a casual tone.

But deep inside, I was nervous as hell. Seems like they can see what's on my mind...

Meanwhile, Van is also at the hotel lobby, watching Seira Yoshida from afar.

He can't really explain why, but he can sense that something bad is going to happen to this heiress..."

To camouflage himself from Seira's suspicious bodyguards, Van hid himself by joining a group of Chinese tourists who were also waiting at the lobby.

He discreetly took a quick glance at Seira's direction.She and her personal bodyguards are now waiting by the elevator.

Van followed the other group of people who were also waiting at the other elevators. He hid himself with them.

"---I'll be at Room 204... Just wait at the hallway, okay?" Van overheard Seira's instructions to her bodyguards.

Both of the elevators suddenly opened. Van and Seira stepped inside different elevators....

Once inside, Van was still trying to figure out on what floor is Room 204. Suddenly, one elderly couple behind him started to speak.

"Did the receptionist tell us that our room is on 7th floor?" said the old lady.

"Yes, dear...Room 202, on the 7th floor..." the old man answered. He was having a hard time pressing the button, and Van volunteered to do it.

"Let me do it for you since I'm going to the same floor, as well." Van lied.

And feels guilty about it

"Thank you..." the elderly couple thanked him.

After the elevator made its stop at each floor, they finally reached the 7th floor. Van held out the door for the old couple. Once they were gone, he walked his way through the corridor.He and swiftly hid himself on the wall when he saw the bodyguards standing infront of Room 204.

Seira Yoshida was saying something to them, and that's why he decided to wait.

I was still in a middle of discussion with my bodyguards because they just couldn't let me go and see my "boyfriend."

"I said I'll take it from here. And don't worry, if Shin did something bad, I have a pepper spray on my bag." I was only bluffing about the pepper spray, and silently prayed that they won't ask me to take out the spray and show it to them.

Thank heavens they didn't.

The bodyguards just looked at each other in silent agreement. Then, they turned their attention to me.

"We'll be waiting at the lobby." said the first guard, and the the others followed.

I whistled under my breath as soon as they were out of sight. I thought my alibi won't work, but fortunately, it did.

I searched for the electronic key inside my bag. When I finally found it, I slid it on the electronic doorknob. The door opened,and then I stepped inside the room.

Van was still hiding at the wall.He saw the cardkey in the doorknob. Seira forgot to take it with her once she entered the room...

Van discreetly tiptoed towards the Room 204 and pulled the card key.

"Just in case." Van thought.

He'll wait for Yoshida Seira to come out and maybe he can also take candid shot of her?

Van sat in a crossed-legged position at the carpeted floor on the hallway...

Inside the Room 204.

"Hey, baby! I'm glad you made it! I missed you!" Shin greeted me, as soon as I entered the room.

I forced myself to smile, but I knew in an instant that I made a wrong decision just by looking at this guy...

I saw something on the nearby table. There were some aluminum foils and syringe scattered on the table... There were also some packs of white crystal grains.

I can also smell something burning inside the room.

Shin followed my gaze and grinned from ear to ear.

"You must have missed it as well, huh?Wanna try it?" he excitedly asked me.

"What are those?" I puzzily inquired, hiding the fact that I'm getting more and more nervous in each passing minute.

Shin frowned for a moment, looking a little confused. Then, he snickered again.

"Trying to act all innocent, huh? Would you like to get to the "real action" like what we used to do?" he teased,and there was a glint of lust in those red eyes.

My mouth suddenly went dry. I took few steps backwards...

"T-This is not what I came for, S-Shin..." I said.

"Oh, yeah? But you went here on your own will, right?" Shin probed, as he also took a step forward.

"Y-You-----tricked me!" I frantically spoke.

"Who would believe you? Everyone in our circle knows your reputation, baby." Shin drawled, and without any warning, he lunged into me.

I screamed as I try to free myself from Shin's grasp...

Van quickly stood up as he heard the screams coming from Room 204. He quickly inserted the cardkey on the doorknob, and opened the door. He instantly saw Seira Yoshida on the floor, while trying her best to break free from Shin Serizawa, who's on top of her.

Van's body acted on its own. In one swift move, he grabbed the man by his collar and gave him a punch right into his face. The notorious playboy collapsed on the floor. He tried to stand up but he always ends up falling on the floor again.

"Don't you ever try or I'll knock the daylights out on you this time!" Van's voice thundered at the four corners of the room.

I was cowering at the corner, too stunned to say anything. I can see the anger on Van's eyes

"You're trespassing! This is a private matter between me and my girlfriend!" yelled Shin, who is obviously on crack.

"But I can tell that your "girlfriend" doesn't even want to see your face, you bastard!" hollered Van.

"----!Are you alright?!" my bodyguards suddenly entered the room. One of them was helping me to stand up, while the other two grabbed Van in his arms, dragging him out of the room.

"Hey, couldn't you at least keep an eye on your lady boss?" Van sarcastically said, as the corner of his mouth lifted upward.

"Don't think you're a hero for today, you bastard." muttered the bodyguard.

After that, he landed a punch on Van's jaw.

Van fell on the floor, but instead of wailing in pain, he started to laughing as if he was crazy.

The bodyguard was about to punch him again but I stopped him.

"That's enough!" I ordered.

The bodyguard lowered his fist unto his side, still controlling his anger.

The other guards saw Van's camera which was lying on the ground.

"He's that stubborn paparazzi... Look, we should clean this mess and erase any evidence. The media shouldn't know what happened here..." he instructed.

The angry guard picked up Van's camera and opened a certain part where the memory card is hidden. He slid the card on his pockets. And after that,he threw the camera and stepped on it.

Van just watched them crush the camera with a poker face.

One of the guards threw some money bills infront of Van.

"A compensation for your beloved camera." he smirked, then he turned his back on Van.

But Van's attention was not on the camera. His eyes followed Seira,.who was being escorted out of the hotel while the guards are making calls to some people who would clean up the evidence of a possible scandal.

Once they were out of sight, Van let himself fall on the floor and stared at the ceiling while thinking hard.

"Why the hell did I do that?" he puzzily wondered to himself.
