I pressed down and started moving inside her faster, changing up the angles each time which made the head of my cock rubbed against her clenching walls. I was going to ask my mate to move in so that we can start using the same room. Then again, I did not want to rush into things, not after how I hurt her several times in the past. Maybe after the trip, I will ask her to move in, and she will agree.

“Good morning, baby.”

Rose made a soft sound in the back of her throat, her eyes peeking towards the clock. They widened in horror. “Why did you not wake me up? It’s almost lunchtime!”

“You looked so peaceful in your sleep. Besides, we will be having lunch with pack members in a few hours, so I thought you should get some rest.”

“Lunch?” She twisted her lips, my shirt riding low on her thighs, the first two buttons left unbuttoned. Inching towards me, the omega plopped on the chair in front, hands coming to cross against her chest. I tried not to follow the action.

“Mhm, we will be leaving today, so I thought we should say something and bid them goodbye.”

Her mouth parted at that, a low gasp escaping her lips. She rubbed her temples,  groaning with her head cast down. “Right the trip! I almost forgot about it. What am I going to do? My bags are not even packed. I have to tell Ellen, talk with my mother, so many things to do and not enough time to spare.”

I took her hand in mine, rubbing at her wrist in soothing circles, hoping it would calm the omega. “Hey…this is supposed to be our relaxing time. Do not worry about it we will take it one at a time.” My eyes bored into hers. “Why don’t you go and shower first? I will call Ellen so that you both can talk, and we’ll leave for lunch together.”

Her shoulders eased at that, a sigh escaping her, and she bobbed her head. “Okay, that sounds good. What would I have done without you?”

I grinned at her. “Let’s not find out. Ever.”

“You are so silly!” She softly giggled, her laughing lines fading as she straightened up in her seat. I frowned at the sudden change; my eyes narrowed together.

“Rose.” I cleared my throat. “What is it?”

“I have been meaning to talk to you about this, but I don’t know how to tell you….” She trailed off, chewing on her bottom lip, hands coming to rest in her lap. The omega averted her eyes away from me, not bothering to look in my direction.

My heart dropped to my stomach as I kept staring at my mate, trying not to imagine the worst of the scenarios.
